It is often better to buy the worst house in the best street and renovate it than or to buy the best house in the worst street or to buy a home in an area where there is a huge amount of vacant land getting ready to be developed
Inner city properties usually bring higher long term gains than houses in outer suburbs
In 2020 , I could have purchased a good quality two bedroom townhouse in the Logan area for around $180,000 , today the same townhouses are selling for around $350,000 .
I always thought the Logan area near the train stations about half away between Brisbane and the Gold Coast were good locations to live but Eagleby does not have a railway station like many other suburbs in Logan do have
The Brisbane to Gold Cost freeway that services Eagleby is becoming more and more congested as more and more homes and commercial developments in area bring an increase in traffic which can make driving very unpleasant with lots of holdups .
Recently I left Brisbane at 3.30 pm and arrived home at the Gold Coast at 10.30pm just to travel over 50km due to a bad accident on the freeway ,
