It’s nice place, however considering the expensive council rate and insurance😢 I’ll need second thoughts.

My pleasure! If you like, we run a poll every week in my facebook group. The poll top 3 are announced every week and you get the PDF data reports for them AND the winner gets the deep dive, two runner ups get the 'where would i buy' :) All decided by the members, for the members! Love to you see you there: facebook.com/groups/highperformancepropertyinvestment

Hi Jacob. Thank you for your great video on Mackay. Appreciate the detail you put into your deep dives. Just one question. Is the Mackay economy still too reliant on the mining sector? Currently 20% of its economic output I think? Or do you believe they have diversified enough now to trust house price growth?

Great video here! I have a question regarding why we are seeing heat when vendor discount go to positive. I would thought if a market is heating up the vender discount rate should be decrease (negative). This mean more people is buying and more competition thus less discount on price? Could you clarify this. Thanks.

Hi Kimmy, when discounting rate is increasing, they're paying over the asking price, if its decreasing, people are paying less than what the asking price is. People are paying over as its a heated market. - Hope that helps!

Thank you, this video was awesome! Very insightful and well presented. I have subscribed. It’s interesting because your video was from 9 months ago and you were right, the market has increased a lot! I am planning on buying now as I believe there is still some heat in the market and it’s still on the rise 🎉

Hi julie, as an investor from brisbane, after 10 years owning a brand new duplex at Eimeo, very poor capital growth, rents are good but capital growth is poor, over supply of new building estate's, be cautious , i'd never invest in Mackay again, or buy to live in. Capital cities like Brisbane are booming, and over to next 10years leading into the Olympics' property demand is huge, only my opinion

@@holyman4027 hi thanks very much for your insight. I agree, seems like a bad investment. We want to live here so will just buy a house to live in rather than pay rent but will keep our investments elsewhere. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it

Built a duplex 10years ago at Eimeo, capital growth has been none existent, rents have been ok, but council rates extremely high, have just sold seperate units as luckily i had them strata titled. No profit at all after 10 years, wished i'd invested i Brisbane instead , personally would never invest in Mackay again
