Unpopular opinion. Everyone who has a voice in Pakistan should look at the politics of Pakistan. I know Ali has said he is not interested but if you love your children you should be very interested. If Pakistan was doing well economically this same team would have different confidence. There is currently no hope for Pakistani youth and it reflects in your art/ sports and obsession of flogging the only horse which is creating wealth. Think if 2009 Mumbai had not happened Pakistani players would have been making crazy money & board too. And if there was trade open imagine your country’s growth. Criticizing the cricket team won’t change anything. Will just kill the only thing making money as anyone & everyone wants to get associated with it. Think who are the people who are benefiting from keeping the fires burning with India. You need to get interested in politics and make your government accountable if you want hope for your kids. Otherwise the other option is to move out. Religion in politics will destroy everything.

Salman is a terrific analyst and has a good cricketing acumen, but one thing that's difficult to understand is that even few years back and even now why he keep saying babar is the best and he has scored runs every where and he should be backed, salman i am sure must have seen pak legend batsman and still he keeps praising a decent to good batsman as if he is generational talent.
The issue with pak players is mental toughness and many of them are not strong enough to do well at international level and unfortunately many of them doesn't look like they even want to compete.
