Funny thing is most of the guys I work with are Just like me. One of my coworkers is almost 60. He recently took a picture with ex NFL player Bart Scott if you didn't know you'd think he was the younger ex NFL player.

Cast iron is worth it! You can pass that on when you pass and it goes from stove, to oven and outside camping. I have 2 pieces that a downsized couple couldn't lift anymore. It's saved me so much from having to replace cheap Teflon crap that flakes off!

I really stressed over learning to read braille so I could write in my journal again. Ask for another thing all men should have by 40 I would definitely include a good knife set! I definitely agree with the pocket knife but in the military I always carry a multi-tool ie a Gerber. Not only do I have a knife, but a bottle opener and pliers. Not bulky either. Awesome channel and I suscribed.

The reason you buy a house is to stop having to pay that big lump sum every month. Sure you pay it now because you work but when you stop working you'll want to keep your money. This bag is intended for situations that deal with disasters, it's for safety needs ie floods, earthquakes, things of that sort, they are designed for safety needs for you and another person if a disaster was to happen in your area they contain food, and such things in Lue of the Toolbox,A gentleman needs to be ready for all situations

A quality wallet, not an old leather one that is falling apart! Oh and a great high quality LED flashlight.
I definitely agree with the pocket knife but in the military I always carry a multi-tool ie a Gerber. Not only do I have a knife, but a bottle opener and pliers. Not bulky either. Awesome channel and I suscribed.
Goodyear, Blake etc welt.. dress shoes. A decent rotation of fragrances and a nice selection of ties, belts, blazers and dress shirts. I’m just sticking to styling here.
Add a nice set of cuff links and a French cuff shirt. And one nice belt.
I wear mine when I go to weddings.

My first "serious" watch was the Tissot Le Locle Powermatic 80. I've bought some nicer watches since then but could never part with the Tissot. It has sentimental value and still makes for a nice dress piece.

Buying a house is basically paying an expensive rent, it’s not for everybody, I think renting is a better option, which is why rent is now the price of mortgage, either way you slice it renting is a whole lot cheaper, and you’re still able to save up a better retirement, taxation on property makes ownership a myth.
The reason you buy a house is to stop having to pay that big lump sum every month.
Sure you pay it now because you work but when you stop working you'll want to keep your money.
Plus you can sell a house or rent it for profit.
You can also borrow against it to start a business.
All you can do with a rental is pay for it while you live under the sovereignty of the landlord.
You can't even customize a rental.
When you mentioned the boots I was reminded of one of the many ways men say, "I love you" to each other. It goes, "Sure, bro. I'll help you move."
