Never too late to do on hand reviews, great video. I'm 4 months into mine and still love it, this and my DJI A4 makes the ultimate duo that leaves GP in the dust, sorry, use to love those guys but they've gotten lazy, care less about their customers and lack of innovation has driven me away from them. I'll even take DJI over them hands down. Too bad as they are the grandfathers to the action camera industry.
OC: I'm pretty sure using a go pro hero 3 then upgrading to a DJI I am bias. but I love the DJI A4 /w Mic 2. So easy to setup and use (voice commands are useful)
Great video! Ironically I have a video queued up for release tomorrow complaining about using GoPro 😅 Once I bought Insta360’s X3, I’ve been itching to switch over my main camera to the Ace Pro.
Sony FDR-x3000 at 10-years-old annihilates my two GoPro Hero 9s on reliability, performance, and features. The Hero 9s were my first and definitely will be my last experience with GoPro. The only thing they've been consistent with at GoPro is failure. I wish I was exaggerating. They also are the worst customer service I've ever had to interact with in my 50 years on this planet. Never, never, never buy a GoPro. When I recover from buying into the $1200+ GoPro cameras and accessories, I'll be jumping head first into either the DJI or the Insta360 cameras. I've been loving my Insta360 One X2 and it hasn't failed me, but isn't a daily main camera. My Sonly is actually still useful and works great today just as it always did before it was discontinued.
OC, jumped on the dji A3 when it first released but now im tempted to buy the Ace pro for the bigger sensor for darker riding. Glad insta colpied DJI with that quick release tho 👌
OC: I'd be interested to see what skintones look like being shot indoors. Ive seen a few videos with that being a problem, skintones end up with a red tint.
I scooped up a GoPro Hero 11 on Amazon Prime day for about $230. I would definitely prefer to get the Ace Pro, but this was too good of a deal to pass up.
Got mine and the only downfall is that there is no wide lens for it , I am thinking of making a DIY wide lens for it , if i cant do it I think I am going to change to the go pro 12 with the wide lens mod , otherwise the image quality is really good
OC: DJI Action 4! GoPro has been giving nonstop problems and generally being unreliable as heck, lost a lot of good ride footage cos of that. The DJI performs amazing in low light and has great battery life and heat management.
i have a gorpo 10 ... but i'm looking into this ace pro a lot lately, and they have a sale going on right now. as Chase said ... the more videos you see the more you think "payed" and "bs" ... but this does look like a gem ...
I think the AP footage looks too sharp and digital. Low light is great but hardly ever shoot at night...I think the DJI Action 4 has a better look and wider field of view
Hey Chase, can you do a segment on the Cardo integration with the Ace Pro? I'm down to get an external mic, but I'm curious if I can grab audio from the intercom, or if it only grabs from the microphone.
From what I understand, the new Ace Pro cranks up the ISO to get more light and removes the noise that it produces with the AI chip as it’s being written to the card.

OC: My pick right now is the Action 4. That said the low light footage looks phenomenal on the Ace Pro. Definitely looks like a great buy.
No the video quality on insta 360 ace pro sucks so bad I can't even compare... My 4 year old smartphone performs better then this

I like the night riding recording and how you can pause video! Sick
Love this! I've been working with Claire and can't wait to get my hands on this... still love my Original DJI Osmo Action cameras... so good.

OC Def has to be the DJI action 4 for me, great low light with large FOV. I just wish the ace pro would be just as large
Great video! Ironically I have a video queued up for release tomorrow complaining about using GoPro 😅 Once I bought Insta360’s X3, I’ve been itching to switch over my main camera to the Ace Pro.
OC We use the original DJI Osmo Action... 5 years old now!

fantastic video! the compare and contrast version of what your eyes could see on the dark road compared to the camera footage was great! 14:18

Unrelated to the camera but Can you do a review on Honda CRF 300L🙈?

Are these cameras still rainproof/waterproof when the audio setup is being used?

For me, I use the continue recording from the saved clip for vlogging so I can know exactly the timeline of my vlog and also it tidy up the file too.
Maybe with your glove on the camera doesn’t sense a heat signature for the gesture mode
It looks good but it's got nothing on my lowlight motovlog rig

I’m going to have to speed watch this right before work 😂
Same here 😂
Can You please Make a Video on the normal Insta 360 ACE? There’s not a lot a videos and I’m wondering how it stacks up for the price.
i have a gorpo 10 ... but i'm looking into this ace pro a lot lately, and they have a sale going on right now.
as Chase said ... the more videos you see the more you think "payed" and "bs" ... but this does look like a gem ...
My issue is mounts. I have long-term issues with every single one I've bought. I went willy-nilly on Amazon and I don't really trust any of them.
Cool video! Thanks! Thinking of switching from the Gopro to the Insta360 Ace Pro!
I think the AP footage looks too sharp and digital. Low light is great but hardly ever shoot at night...I think the DJI Action 4 has a better look and wider field of view
Thanks for making this vid, I trust this channel more then others.
I've been debating on the top tree and this video kinda blew my mind and helped me decide thank you!!!!
OC baby! Thanks for the review! I’m going to really put this camera to the test once I buy it for my atv in Alaska!

That's definitely on our list of videos to make.

Failes to mention that activation is required so that Insta360 can follow you.
Question does this camera have a 30 minute record limit before it stops and starts recording again?
Am I able to do LiveStreaming using AcePro?
Hay thats a rare video, cause night video on a bike and with the Ace Pro. super.
It's great footage 🎉 and do some vlogging at night 😂
OC
I use a potato to record my videos
Baked, Fried or mashed?
OC I've been using GoPros
Not gunna lie, the lack of views on this worries me.
