This woman is the exception and not the rule. By the time women hit 50 they don't care about their looks or sex. Six year ago my wife died at 52. She did care about her looks and sex. In fact on her 52nd birthday/pool party she was rocking a neon lime bikini. Well, my friend is 72 yo, she keeps herself very active, exercising, looks great with a beautiful body and I mean BEAUTIFUL. I’m 55 yo guy and we have a wonderful and intense sex life as if we were 20 yo LOL. She is still married, and her husband is just not interested intimate relationship any longer (he’ll be 80 yo old ) so I believe sex is even better at her age and my age than probably before. Women don't seem to understand how important sex is to the relationship. That is how many men bond and grow close to the woman, and the opposite is true. When women deny sex it drives the man away. If I give her a foot or back massage, prepare a bath or a nice dinner that is my way of connecting to her. I know those things are important. I am not always thrilled to do those things, and sometimes I'm tired, but I do them as my duty. But when I do them and then she says she is too tired for sex and roles over to sleep that is a real killer.

I am no prude. But as soon as the word 'dirty' comes up in a sexual context, often first suggested by the man, I get turned right off, though I know other women are turned on by the idea of 'dirty sex'. There is no need to discuss sex if you are going to get it on together. Just keep quiet and get on with it. Or, if you must talk, make all sorts of fake sounds etc, keep it natural and clean. Forget all the theatrical effects, like it's some kind of show, like many younger women see it as. Or some sporting marathon or game for the guys. The communication is sensual and tactile in such situations so they have to feel good to touch. All the other senses get in the way eg sight, sound. And if they smell eg of offensive body odour, perfumes, bad breath etc, it is a complete sexual turn off. Because there is another sense than the purely tactile one getting in the way of real intimacy and creating a distraction, which is more likely to affect some types of women than men eg ones who get easily distracted, who are likely to be the more creative, sensitive women.
