Town Yetholm - Impression of a village in the Scottish Borders [June 16, 2015]

- Just a short impression of a little gem of a village just a few miles from the Anglo Scots border. Not to be confused with Kirk Yetholm by the way! The village is quite typical for this beautiful area. It's situated on the long distance path St Cuthbert's Way.
We discovered it while on our way from the Highlands back south. For one night we stayed on Kirkfield Caravan Park - a quiet and easy going neat little campsite on the grounds of a [former] church. - กีฬา

Nice tour of the village Wilco, good to see the old red phone box and thatched roofs. The campsite looked a great spot. I have been to Kirk Yetholm but never got as far as Town Yetholm. Will have to have a run up there some day. Take care. Mick
Hi Wilco, this video brought back some very vivid and fine memories. I visited Town Yetholm five years ago when I walked the long distance walking trail The St. Cuthbert's Way. I actually stayed in the town Kirk Yetholm which is across the river from Town Yetholm. The Scottish Borders is very beautiful countryside and it was great to hike through this countryside.
William Dornan About the beauty of the countryside in this area I do agree with you William! For sure one of these days I'll take to the St. Cuthbert's way too [it's certainly not only the Munros that I'm walking]. Thx for your reaction!
