I lived in Wooler from 11½ to 16, (January '64 to Sept.'68) when I went into the Royal Engineers, frequently returning on leave until my mother moved elsewhere and remember Wooler Common when it was a sheep farm before the trees disfigured the landscape. Fascinating to watch and see old familiar sights and newer developments, but that computer voice is not easy to listen to.
Hi Sapper82, thanks for your comment, I'm glad that you were able to reminisce about days gone by, hoped you enjoyed it. The voice part is getting better as I work with it more. It will take time but I do think I'll get there. If you look at my latest videos the voice does get better.
Hello, I lived in Wooler since I was 4 yrs old and witnessed a lot of changes then moved to the West Midlands in 1993...now live in Perth WA but still think of the beauty of the border town of Wooler.
Really, that bad? I did look at the video again for the Wooler video, and I still feel it's not too bad, even though the AI voice gets some words wrong.
Hey guys here's my new video, at the moment it's still processing in HD , the visual quality will get better. This happens all the time, when i upload my video's, as i just wanna get them up and get the next one done. Hang in there ☺ Thanks.
Hi Petra, a miss spelt word. These things happen not to worry. I hope you enjoyed the video, though, as that's what it's all about, including the story.
@@theadventurer28 yes, accepted. Sometimes clarification is needed.no problem. I'll be visiting the region in the near future so I'm gaining insight into what's there, satisfying my love of landscapes but the human histories in those landscapes. X
Hi Stevie, at the time of making this video, i was just practising how to use this speech thingy on my computer, and since then, it's gotten better. For example, why not check out the glencoe Village revised video, as the speech is much better. ☺️
Great video of Wooler. Best starting place for adventures into the cheviots.

I love the place. My freind & his family live there. Well worth a visit if you have not been.

Hi MegaP, I'm glad that the video brought back some memories for you🙂. And thanks for visiting my channel 😁
The AI narration kills this.

@@theadventurer28 I will never endure AI. There are too many talented humans who deserve attention.
Hi again, have you seen the video called The Lakes England?
Great stuff.😊
Thanks for the visit

never heard of alan wick, where is that?
Hi, the name is Alnwick, which is in Northumberland England.
@@theadventurer28 i was pointing out the wrong way of saying it......
Hi again, this is how the computer voice says the word Alnwick. It gets most things right though 😁
@@theadventurer28 It is pronounced as "Annick"
@@theadventurer28 Spelt Alnwick, but locally pronounced "Annick".
Great video - annoying choice of music
Border* Rievers, not Boarder

I know you're a bot, pet, but it's pronounced 'Annick', not 'Oln-wick'.
