A walk north & northeast of Grantown on Spey [June 5, 2015]

- Not a spectacular expedition up a Munro this one - but it does give a reasonable impression of the beauty spots surrounding Grantown on Spey. It also shows a few miles of the Speyside Way. Apart from the track of the disused railway, the river itself [near ‘Boat of Cromdale’], the estate of Castle Grant and the beautiful Anagach Wood.
Made this 14,2 km walk as a try-out for the busted knee. And sure, just a week after the mishap the darned joint happened to listen to it’s owner again!

Nice video Wilco a very interesting walk. Only once been up that way when I took a wrong turn on the A9 at Perth heading to Ullapool (dont ask) and did a slight detour via Aberdeen. Atb. Mick

Pathfinder; Fergus Films Haha I blame the co-pilot and navigator who was fast asleep most of the the way. This was a weekend camping trip to Ullapool, 660 mile round trip lol. It was also the weekend of the Northumberland flood and it took 10 hours to travel the last 50 mile to home from Coldstream. Happy days lol.
blamhof Dutch watermanager over here for once was lucky not to find himself in a river, on a shaky 'bridge' above burn or on a melting snowridge even!
