Been playing this for quite some time. Looking forward to errata cards and books, but know game well enough that they are not needed by our groups, but it will greatly help others and retail. Some balance issues pop up once exploits are found, but overall all our groups agree much on the points mentioned here.
I'm glad you like it. It might've been my favorite game I've played in 2021. I got the meeple version which was *very* reasonably priced, then went back for the 2nd printing for the mat.
Definitely seen other games offer multiple ways to play but maybe not this complex. Summit comes to mind. Folks always seem to have a preference for on version or the other. Ive only played the competitive version of this so far and maybe for my group(s) they'll prefer the coop because folks have pushed back against the semi coop aspect of the competitive game. Time will tell. I do like the Black Powder expansion but wish the miniatures fit better on the Walls.
The competitive mode seems great. We played coop and it seems un-winnable or even broken in this mode. We were so discouraged we haven’t returned to the game unfortunately.

We felt that initially. It took some getting used to, but it's definitely doable.

Oof. No, that's a good example. I remember actually not liking the co-op for that one though. So, to be fair to me, I've put it out of my mind :)
Orléans as well, though with an expansion. It’s actually my favorite way to play it. (and I’m the other pedantic guy)
