It was a dually and I liked the width of the mirrors up to remind me of the big butt fenders too. In the end, I really like mirrors that have electric adjustable glass top and bottom to help when I am in tight situations in So Cal.
Thanks for the look, that's a beautiful truck and in their stock form, is enough HP an Torque for me. I was running around in my 2018 today and all I could do is smile, 4th gen, 5th gen they are all sweet truck's. I can't believe how quiet the new 6.7l Cummins is with the Graphite Iron Block.
I love the simplicity of my 18 3500 G56 Tradesman. The chrome appearance package & running boards make it look like more than it is, I think.🤔-->😄 As far as 19s go, 3500 Tradesman w/Aisin would be "it" for me!😃 Big screen needed? Nope! Most of the time my radio is off anyway.🤔 I just am so happy to have a diesel and enjoy the sound.😉
I agree. I have a 2018 Tradesman 6.7 Cummins. Graphite ,Chrome PKG, rear camera with sensors for backing.Fifth wheel PKG, spray in liner. Heated seats,sliding rear window the dealer threw in. Carpet, cloth seats, push button 4wd. Took my side boards and tonneau off my 2016 Big Horn 1500 and the fit perfectly. 57.7k sticker. Got $10k off . Damn nice truck . I always got the GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado pick ups but I do not miss the up pricing at all.

I’ve always taken mine to the dealer for that part of the maintenance but they charge $50 to check it. I think that’s a little too much!
The interior is super basic but it is a work truck. Buying the tradesman and adding tires, level, new deck etc seems to be the way to go if you want one new. 50k ain't bad for a new truck with 4x4 and a Cummins.
I think alot of people don't realize that you can get a Tradesman, and a few options that you need or want and get a good truck for a reasonable price.
Side glass in your limited is not tempered; it is laminated, it is two panes of glass together. Just like the windshield. Open the window partway and feel the top.
Hey Paul what was your recommended PSI again 75 in the front and 85 in the back? I do believe you did say that you would start to bleed them off if they surpassed 90. I just can't remember if their rears should be at 80 or 85.
I like black front end more then all the fen chrome.. Best would be little bit of both some chrome trim with little bit of black in it.. Either way is almost to much..
I looked at a 17 tradesman a few years ago and it was nice and super quiet. But I ended up in a ford cause I'm a ford fan but the dodge is a pretty nice truck. Are those steering wheel buttons new cause they look really dated for a new truck? They don't please my eyes.
I like the interiors. the tires looked like 17. I don't know man, the new engines have me spooked of break downs. how can a truck with that many changes still cost around the same price as the 18'' or even lower. Compare this years MSRP to last year MSRP. apples to apples.

Just an fyi, ram dropped the manual transmission for 2019. If you want a new ram with a manual transmission you better look for a 2018 now while they're still out there.

It would be awesome if you could get the 1000 ft/lb. Cummins with a manual in a 2018, but that is only a pipe dream.
I prefer extended size cabs. Sadly ram doesn't offer quad cab on HDs, only reg, crew or mega. I guess regular cab with a in bed toolbox will have to do.
@@vojnikjna30 I have had Fords in the past and did not have good luck. Great luck with Rams however. My 2005 Ram 1500 quad cab 8ft bed has 290k miles with no issues other than that I will have to replace brake disks soon because they are warped bad.

Going to be $653 for remote start installed but not available yet, they told me I can’t get one for a few months.
If I remember right, remote start systems are about $500 from Ram.

18 is the smallest wheel that will fit on these trucks, it's called having proper size brakes
