- They have started arriving, and when RAM announced the new Cummins in the 2019 HD RAMs would have 1000 lb/ft of torque and an amazing 35,100 pound towing capacity, this took the market by storm! Now, the 3/4-Ton 2500 doesn't have quite that, but 850 lb/ft of torque and 18,870 pound towing isn't anything to sneeze at either! And at less than $55,000, you really get a lot of truck for the money! No, it's no Big Horn or Laramie, but honestly, when you need a good workhorse but don't want or require all the luxury features, the Tradesman is a good route to go!

I purchased a 2018 Ram 2500 HD with the 6.7 Cummins . Auto , push button 4wd,2wd and 4wd low. Sliding rear window, factory sprayed Bedliner, rear bumper sensors, Factory running boards , chrome pkg , I installed a toneau cover ,rear camera. Seats are a comfortable cloth . Granite mettalic color.
Sticker was 56k got it for 47k. Love that engine. Gets around 22 hwy at 75 mph.
The ride is very good on good hwys not so good on very rough roads . Love the truck .
I have one of this truck and I love it !There is one problem!
One fuse always burns !
But the good news is the dealer knows they always ordered extras for me!
My 17 with 44,000 miles now gets 19 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on highway so it has gone up since new.

Just bought mine a couple weeks ago. Been averaging 20-22 mpg without trailer. Hauled some cows in a 24 foot stock trailer the other day through the mountains and still was getting 16. Very impressed with it so far.
The center display lcd screen fades in and out when you’re driving.. Is that just a camera issue or does it really do that? Thanks for the video
Weird camera phenomenon. In reality, the display stays the same. It has something to do with the LCD refresh rate not matching up to my screen rate. I film at 60fps and those refresh at 36fps.

The ram 2500 SLT is a true TRUCK..Laramie and BIG HORN is GREAT for all sorts of unnecessary gimmicks when your going to get and manicure and pedicure and buying a new purse

Nice truck but take it with the 6.4 hemi and save the 10k. Also Ram as a brand is known for rebates and discounts so I figure you get this truck at a far better Price. But great review.

HalfShell No it’s not it’s has 850lbs of torque and a 68RFE trans only the 3500s with the Aisin transmission have the 1000ft lbs of torque

HalfShell Well the 1000 lb ft of torque is with a new block . The Cummins with the 850 lb of torque is more common is connected to the 68rfe and is not compacted graphite . Only the 1000 lb ft of torque they are making 2 different Cummins at the moment the older 850 lb of torque is not compacted graphite just letting you know .
$12,000 in options and NO bed liner?
+M&P Shield So, oddly enough, this truck had the factory spray-in liner, then there was the spray-in liner delete for a credit. Not sure why.
That pesky 68RFE..... The only downside to this truck
I have nothing but 1 problem right after another not a work truck going 2 go back 2 ford damn fiat what a disappoint cost me alot of time and money
