the platform fighter neutral game is so weird. probably the only one where you rarely use a block-like move while playing defensively, and even the most defensive plays involve a lot of attacking.
Remember, Inputs are not that bad after some practice. I managed to pull off Quarter-Circles consistently the one time I played Garou: Mark of the Wolves thanks to practice from Smash. Probably should bring this up on a Terry video and not a Ryu/Ken video. Oh well.
Today it was a little depressing day for me: my gf got mad at me because she thinks I lied to her; parents thought I got fired from my work; I'm all home alone and I got a little anxiety because I finished translating a 212 maintenance manual this week only. I know it's not a great deal but most of the time I feel like I have no word on anyone, nobody cares and no one listen to me or misunderstands what I say. I liked Fates. I only played Conquest but I liked it. The strange potholes of the magic Hoshido chair and the place we can't tell anyone about are strange but other than that it's good. I think the characters are nice.

If you already have a high starting GSP clutch out a few wins and you can toss anyone into elite smash. But since you’re a fellow yoshi player, nair is the way
Yoshi main here. I'm pretty garbage at the game, but here's my full Yosh knowledge. 1. f-tilt is a great combo starter, combos into multiple up tilts at low percents and combos into up air at higher percents. You can pretty easily get a 60% combo at low to mid percents if you land an f-tilt on battlefield. 2. Nair is a great defensive option, one of your best really. 3. Down smash has deceptively low startup time and is a pretty decent kill move, good if you're struggling to land an up air or f-smash. 4. Use your up b as your primary air mobility tool and conserve your mid-air jump. Up-b gives you a surprising amount of mobility and you can even use it to protect yourself from opponents trying to meet you in the air. 5. When being ledge trapped, try dropping off and hitting up b, this throws a wrench into a lot of ledge trap setups while also giving you the ability to get back on stage safely. 6. Remember that your neutral b is a command grab that can be used in midair, which is an excellent way to deal with people who just sit on platforms and hold shield. 7. If you really want to up your game, practice doing reverse midair neutral bs. This gives you yet another mobility option that you can use to catch your opponents off guard and mix up your landings. 8. Yoshi has one of the highest mid-air drift speeds in the game, abuse it. That's all I got for ya.
