Lady Paula. I love, love, love you! I've been watching you since the first time I saw you on the Food Network. My Mama is from Macon. We lost her a few years ago and I enjoy watching you now more than ever. You remind me so much of her! Your voice, your southern accent and your mannerissms mostly. Mom would make deviled ham (from the can you spoke of) with just cream cheese. She'd put it in fridge to "set up" but it never lasted long enough to, because us kids ate it, just the way it was. On bread, on crackers and with a spoon by itself. You're lovely. Thank you for your TH-cam channel. I look forward to watching more of you and learning new recipes.
When I cannot sleep, which is just about every night, I so look forward to a visit from Paula!

Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my mother always had those little cans of Ham Salad with the little red devil on the wrapper...she loved that stuff. Thanks for bringing back good memories, may my Mom RIP, 27 year now...can’t believe it’s been this long. Thanks for the memories. My husband loves ham salad too, and he’s a Southerner so he loves him some country ham, lol.

How about "Waking up with Paula"? I think it's a great title because I have seen so many people comment that they drink their coffee every morning (myself included) and they watch your video first thing in the morning.

Yeah, I remember eating deviled ham and potted meat out of the can. I very seldom eat those now. Way to salty for me. Sometimes I eat those Vienna sausages, but again, have to be careful about the salt.

My mother used to add a can of the deviled ham to egg salad with mayo and pepper and we would eat with saltines. It was good!! Thank you for your show my Sister and I love you!!
My mom use to make this but with baloney! I remember asking mom why she called it ham salad when it was baloney? I was quickly put in my place...”It’s whatever I Want to call it”! So baloney became ham salad 🥗! Yum...and we grew up on “Miracle Whip”...not Mayo...I live Mayo but some things need the other...bless you Paula! Love this show!
My mom would have been so happy to see you. She passed in 2010 and let me tell you she was still making all kinds of things from your books. She loved to make dump cakes and such. We all think you got a bad rap. She made a Bailey's cake with the Bailey's frosting and let me lick the betters and bowl. I got a good buzz from that. I know she would have loved to see you one more time. This brings back suck great memories for me. Thank you Paula

Good Morning Y'all...hope you guys are rubbing the sleepy out them eyes to watch Paula. That baby Paula is waiting for a bite honey lol 🐶♥️. I have every magazine you have ever made ..I got all them out just a week ago😁. Never have had homemade deviled ham sandwiches before. Now I have had that deviled ham and a can 🙄. But this looks so much better then the can stuff. I will for sure try this...I like stuff like this on cracker's. Guys have a wonderful day love you all my friends 😘♥️

Always look forward every morning to spend time with you. We grew up on Ham salad and also a bologna salad that mom made. Haven't had it in so long...gonna have to make some this week. Love to you all. See you soon in Nashville.
We did too! Mom ground the meat in a grinder that screwed to the table and you cranked the handle..that thing was a beast. The best ham salad I ever made was with some over smoked ham that was a bit dry but made a delicious smoky spread.

My mother used to eat the Underwood Deviled Ham spread until she opened a can with a worm in it. If that wasn't bad enough, the worm was still alive! I'll be trying this recipe so she can enjoy her deviled ham again.

I made this ham spread this morning. I ate a little bit on crackers. It was delicious. It is in the fridge chilling now. Thank you for the recipe. BTW, it did not need salt at all.

I love ham salad sandwiches and I have eaten potted meat on white toasted bread . My Granny loved it on crackers too miss Miss Teresa. I remember going to the Varsity in Athens or Atlanta and I would get a ham salad sandwiches. The bread always toasted too . They were so good....!! I don't think they make them anymore. That's okay... we got Miss Paula showing us how to make them . Thank you for sharing another awesome recipe...!! ❤❣❣❣
