I am a user of this laptop for a month, Ryzen 5 7530u variant, and I have something really important to say about this laptop.
Everything he said is a 100% truth. But he missed out on one really important point: Warranty.
Yes, I know it says 1 year warranty on the Amazon page, but when we tried to register for the warranty online, it said that it had already been registered on May 30th, 2023. This means, the warranty is only applicable till May 29th, 2024 for me. I don't know if it is a one-off situation like returned laptop or something, but it has happened to me. Please do consider this point before buying this laptop, because warranty is a huge deal breaker for many people.
There has been a glut of inventory in the PC channels for the last 12-18 months. Unfortunately, AMD has been treating the Indian laptop market as second grade and been dumping all their older generation inventory like Zen 2 and Zen 3, which they have rebranded into the 7000 series, into India. Not a single Zen 4 laptop has been launched by any of the OEMs in 2023 in the mainstream segment, may be you'll find one or two in the high end gaming segment, but that too with a lot of difficulty. It's sad and the sales reps in electronic stores sell them as latest generation laptops.
Can you give me the current model name?
@@ahmedamlan9070 The one I bought is M1505YA
I am also a user of this laptop (but I have the 14-inch model), and I extended my warranty by paying extra in the Myasus app. Now mine lasts till 2025.
But personally, I feel that it's a must to give at least 2 years of warranty. I was kind of disappointed to know I have to pay extra for extended support.
Same thing happened to me but it is registered in June

i have the 15pro oled version with 5600H and RTX3050: it is truly the best laptop for the price i got it for. Im in college, so the acer nitro with 4050 wasnt an option for daily travel as it is so heavy and drains so fast then u gotta carry the charger . With my laptop i use it for 5hr for coding and by the time i reach home it still has 30% remaining.
Truly i would recommend it to everyone. Dont buy those bulky gaming laptop it isnt worth it.
I have the 4800h and gtx1650 one
works fine for me too its been 2yrs though
I brought it for 60k

I'm not getting this amazon where did you buy? Amazon has 2050 variant
How about leaving the exact products link in the description?

type c charging?
lmao where?
true, my 5th gen ryzen 9 variant of asus vivobook pro oled laptop doesnt have the type c charging
it is possible, it is not just out of box, you can use any pd upto 65w charger
5:18 is where you get to know about it.
The type c port support pd charging. But you'll need a PD charger for that.
Hopefully in the future all phone chargers would be made to follow PD charging standard

Do people really use laptop as portability? I agree we can take it anywhere but we usually plug it always so why to confuse just get laptop with GTX 1650 or rtx 2050 in 50k it worth the price. Tuf series laptop if you want professional design then go for others but buy powerful that's it. If you are really outdoor guy and want browsing then go for notebooks or MacBook. MacBook not makes sense but still fanboys can go with it
bro idk if you want to do it or not but just listen:
Option1:

Option 2:

option 2 duh
Dude just give the name of the laptop in ur video or link it in description
Asus and Acer has screen flickering issues, this issue doesn't die down and reoccurs after warranty too, its a pain in the ash. Please youtube it and I am facing it too.

Why not put 5k extra and get the 12500H evo certified one instead. Oled laptops fascinate me, I can't wait to buy one, once my current Acer Predator 17.3 inch completes 5 years. What I don't get is why other brands are not making oled laptops available, especially in India, while Asus are selling them like potatoes.

Don't consider this laptop to buy. by seeing the specs itself its not worth the value. Try to do some research and buy a better laptop you can easily get a better laptop lesser than this price.
Its M6500 version is also freat been using from a year almost, same pricing, no OLED , 144Hz FHD+ anti glare display comes with Ryzen 5 fingerprint sensor and a 50W RTX 3050 makes the Laptop super powerful and yet maintains lightweight

Please cover a laptop which has
- OLED display or near OLED experience

- CPU not necessarily the top end, but enough to give lag-free experience handling multiple tabs and multiple applications.
- And definitely GOOD SPEAKERS

My S14's charging port quit being capable of charging the laptop. Happened 7 weeks out of warranty. The port would yet connect to an external hard disk,,,,, just wouldn't detect connection to the power adapter and so allow charging of the battery. ASUS wants $535 to fix the problem; they replace the motherboard. --- Lenovo seems to have a fix while ASUS claims total lack of knowledge about such problems. Here Lenovo's fix is titled "Critical Intel Thunderbolt Software and Firmware Updates - ThinkPad".... All the potential issues:
Systems may experience any of the following symptoms:
USB-C port not working
Intel Thunderbolt controller not visible in the OS/Device Manager
USB-C or Thunderbolt docking stations not visible or having connectivity problems
HDMI output not available
System battery not charging with a USB-C power adapter connected to the USB-C port
Intel Thunderbolt pop-up error message
Intel Thunderbolt safe mode error message
BIOS Thunderbolt communication error or hang during POST
These symptoms may occur after 6 to 12 months of typical usage.

What is the screen replacement cost
Anyways - Miniled display >> Bright colour accurate and good contrast lcd >> OLED for laptops
(Burn in risk go brr)
Aka let us wait a few years for a cheap miniled display
Oleds got here and look at how they were priced. It's the extra high amount of static elements on desktop compared to TVs and Phones that make OLED on laptops so risky (also why aren't there cheap OLED standalone monitors - those would be great so at least you have options)
Nah OLED >>> MINI LED > LCD.
Burn in issue on mordern panels are regulated and you don't encounter any till 3years atleast.
Just ask yourself how often you change your laptop screen ? 😂
@@Sailed_awayno one buys a laptop only to again buy a laptop after 3 years. Most of us expect it to last around 5 years,if not more than that.
@@hipill9127 is a oled laptop unusable after 3 years?
Why is oled risky can you please tell me I was going to buy pro15 oled
@@gigganigga9776 Like old CRT TVs/Monitors used to have an issue where if something was on the screen too long it used to burn in on the screen permanently.
That same name of "Burn-in" is what we are calling the pixels degrading on OLEDs.
For example my phone which I used for 2 years has black spots where the notifications come because its always in that part.
While in phone its just notification bar, and on TVs it might be channel Icon - on windows a lot of things are static, like the taskbar, UI, crosshair in games etc.
TH-cam usually hides comments with links so I wont link any videos but just google or see on youtube "Oled Burn in".

How r the performance?
Whats the point of a proprietary charging port when it's something that can be handled by type c easily (i.e below 100 watts - though latest type c should support upto 240watts below 100 is the safe side because of the unsafe cable market)
It's a safety port, I would use the Proprietary port regularly for years so that the premium USB C doesn't have to face that same wear and tear regularly!
