This video is dedicated to my friend Sefora. She has helped me more than she'll ever know. She also indirectly gave me the motivation to make this video.
I'd also like to thank David Simon for giving me the idea in October of 2021 to overdub this with whispering. I was seriously going to delete all of this footage due to bad audio, but his suggestion kept me from doing so.
So... I recorded this in August and September of last year. I originally recorded about 4 hours worth of footage over a period of a few days, but I had already deleted about 3 hours of it before I decided to go ahead and create the video. I then narrowed it down even further while I was editing the footage. This park is very large, but it mostly consists of hiking trails.
The noise you hear in the background is coming from the bowling alley that is below my house, just in case you were wondering. I wish someone would figure out a way to make bowling pins quieter!

UPDATE/CORRECTION (April 08, 2022):
I was informed by Blake Wolcott that the structure/sculpture at the 1:09 mark is actually the mixer from a cement truck. It is NOT a fake airplane engine like what I thought in the video. Thank you Blake for teaching me something new :)
This has the possibility of being the greatest whispered asmr video ever...I could listen to this one video for the rest of my life and I think that would be just fine

Hey, man. I do plan on making another one of these. I have a few days of footage that I recorded from another part of my city last year. Next time, I'll try to have better audio quality too :)

This park is nice! I like all of the trees as I am all about that shade in summer time! 😎
You know what? The pathways deep inside of these woods were serene. Really, I loved them. The trees blocked of wind and allowed a slight amount of sunshine in. The pathways were peaceful and the perfect temperature. The only thing I didn't like was that I was constantly being attacked by mosquitoes, gnats, and spiders.
That sounds majestic! I love sun beams shining down through the trees. Super inspirational.
Yeah, it seems like the beautiful wooded areas are always the most mosquito-prone places!

That big white metal thing in the beginning is actually off of a cement truck. The spirals inside mix the concrete

Thank you, Jess. In this video, I used an actual standalone microphone. The specific model is the AKG P120 condenser microphone.
I can’t be sure but that looks like daddy long legs spiders. They used to be pretty plentiful in old campsites Ana abandoned places but I see less of them now where I live. I’ve heard their bite is actually bad BUT….their mouths are too small to do damage to a human. Not sure if that’s true or an old wives’ tale tho….lol. Sorry about the spider attacks! We now know Luke’s weakness! 🕷🕷🕷🕷😜
Hey. The spiders at the 16:40 mark are about 4X the size of daddy long legs. They were nearly the size of the palms of my hands. And yes. I HATE spiders. The apartment I moved from in 2020 was full of brown recluses that would also jump at me.
