Ever since I started making videos, people have asked me to make a gum chewing video. I finally decided to chew gum in this video. I don't like the sound of it though.
I need to buy a better microphone. The ones I want to buy start out at $700!!! I should be able to buy one or two at the end of this year though :D

I listened to a few minutes of this video last night. I really don't like that gum chewing sound. I think the video would have been much better without it. I won't be using gum chewing anymore with this style of whispering.
Came for the tingles, stayed for the intellectual content. Enjoyed both massively :D

Thank you ema7md. Even though times have changed, there is still so much work that needs to be done. So many children are afraid of saying "no" and/or asking questions. I just hope that revealing my past experiences will be somewhat encouraging to people who are transitioning.

Just cannot like this enough!! I am also an atheist who was brought up in a Christian church, the Baptist denomination. The day I finally lost my faith was a day of sunshine and the weight of the world lifted from my shoulders.

I'm happy for you! I know what you mean. Immediately after I stopped believing, I felt like I had been freed from a prison. It felt SO GOOD!!!
In my denomination, we were taught that the Baptist people were all bad and they were going straight to Hell when they died! When I became and adult, one of my best friends invited me to his church, which is a Baptist church. I fell in love with that church after the first experience. It was much better than the church I was raised in. My friend and I both stopped attending that church after its pastor resigned though.

I'm so glad to find a new video from you, one of my favorite whisperers in the community! And this topic is so thoughtfully expressed by you and one that is really thought-provoking. Ironically enough, I was just listening to another favorite artist sharing her thoughts about spirituality. It can be such a personal thing, and one that can be difficult to express, after all how easy can it be to express the inexpressible at the heart of being. I really appreciate listening to your thoughts on this topic, and always sincerely appreciate your desire to help others find peace and relax. your soft voice is always so calming and I found myself just floating away whilst listening to you, both paying attention and numbly aware all at the same time. This video was extremely relaxing. You have an amazing voice. I too grew up COGIC but as a pastor's daughter and I too have had my doubts about the theology. I find that there are many things that the COGIC denomination teaches that aren't biblical and are as you said out of date. So now I read and study the bible for myself and interpret it in my own way.
Oh WOW! Another COGIC person. That's so cool. Usually when I mention COGIC, people be like, "I've never heard of it." The one I was raised in is falling apart. The age gap in the congregation increases every about 5 years. I can't imagine how it must have been as a pastor's kid :O

I'm religious too and I respect the fast that you aren't, I'd just like to say that in our defense, those of non-religious background also try to impose their, for lack of a better word, "beliefs" on those of religious backgrounds too. I'm not saying either party is more to blame than the other either, I'm just saying. Love your videos man, keep it up.
I could see why you would not practice any faith, and I am agnostic, so technically I don't, either. But I think most of the reason might be because you have never had anything supernatural happen to you.
I was an athiest, until I realized weird shit happened to me all the time. I don't know what to believe, so I make up my own stuff, and I think every religion "exists." Science is great, for expanding our horizons as human beings, but there will always be something missing from us, and when spirituality and science come together, it will be truly marvelous.
…Anyways, I LOVE your voice, and the way you do your videos is great. :D Keep it up! Always makes me 100% calm~
*EDIT* On the subject of "having a purpose," I think all of us are bound to purpose, but we are at the mercy of whatever force "god" really is, in the fact that, no matter what you believe, your fate will always repeat. I like your idea, though. I sort of wish it was true, for me, but I have learned so much from going through what I do, and some of the things I didn't want to know. But I do, and I wouldn't trade it.

About my labret piercing... I was wearing a little retainer. I always wear a retainer in my labret when I'm not wearing my "hook". The labret hole closes so quickly, so I always have to keep something in it ;)
The microphone IMO, is great, just need to add the black spongy thingy around it(I have no idea what its name is) that reduces background noises.

It's really interesting to hear your perspective on the topic. It seems like the more radical the upbringing the more adamant people will towards atheism.
I was brought up in the United Church of Canada which is very liberal (treat the bible as something with a lot of good lessons, but it was written to 2000 years ago, so don't follow it word for word, we live in a different era and need to respect modern society, science is good, incisiveness is good, social justice is good). But around the time of my first communion, I decided the church wasn't for me and became agnostic.
Also, what kind of ring in our eyebrow? I'm assuming something like that only works for surface piercings?

You're right. The ring in my eyebrow actually isn't an eyebrow ring. It was designed as a nipple ring, but I wear it in my eyebrow anyway because I like how it looks.

I do plan on making another gum chewing soft spoken video soon, but I will be using the video camera's microphones instead of my vocal microphone.

People say that God doesn't answer their prayers but he does. It just may not be answered the way they want it. For example, Before Jesus was crucified he prayed three times begging God that if there was any other way to save the people have him do it. But in the end he always said your will be done. It's not what we want but what God wants.

Annalisa Bastiani It's an Italian brand named Soleko. The type of lens is Queens Solitaire, and they call the color violet. I think they only come in prescription though. I'm not sure. I have astigmatism and I'm near-sighted, so these lenses correct my vision. That's why I always have them in.

I never understood why sex, race, sexual orientation and of course, religion have to be such polarizing subjects. Everyone has to have their opinions and constantly shove their views down each other's throats. Feminists and male elitists, segregation and homophobia, Christians, Muslims, Atheists and Catholics. This constant dividing between us, human beings, is sickening and I run the risk of sounding like some hippie asshole whenever I talk about breaking down these walls and respecting each other, working together and realizing these differences that are so very superficial are meaningless in the big picture of the human race. I believe a lot of it leads back to Christianity and that outdated bullshit. the sexism, racism from the "backwater" conservatives, and the rampant homophobia, which in my opinion is the most prevalent. It's just poisonous. And yes there are outliers, there always are and that's fine everyone has the right to believe what they want and listen, I was raised a straight white middle class privileged kid, I know I have it easy and I can't seriously speak to hardships of women, minorities and the gay community, but I never had a church or religion, my parents taught me to respect people for who they are to ignore the box society wants to put them in, and I just wish the churches would do the same, I believe I had a better upbringing because of it. It's 2014 and a change is coming. /rant how about some more cookie reviews :p
The problem is that for many years, people assumed that ignoring a problem would cause the problem to go away. Gratefully, people are starting to speak up. It's great that you weren't raised in a religious household. My childhood was horrible. What's even worse is that I didn't even realize how horrible it was until I became an adult. I'll definitely make a video about it.

Wolf Hazard - What a very impassioned speech! This clearly means a lot to you. I also agree that we should leave each other alone although I don't think that is possible so long as their are differences in people at all. As a species we love adversity. For that reason I believe there will always be war. Not that I think we should all conform to boring, gray husks in attempt to avoid it. Perhaps we should just deal with this issue with grace as an inevitability. Treat people as you feel they should be treated and expect little in return. This may sound like the pessimist's point of view (it is) but it is the safest course if you are looking to avoid the stress of dealing with our species horrible attitude towards one another. I know there are a lot of people who think that with enough like-minded people anything is possible, but that's sadly just not true. There is no way any amount of people, even all the people alive, can do anything to change our universal demeanor. So just relax and enjoy your life worry-free, and when we all nuke each other into oblivion you can chuckle and say, "Told ya so".
ASMRByMe Hey man. It wasn't really my father. It was my mother, but my father never spoke up about it. I was raised as a member of the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), which is a branch of Pentecostal. The COGIC is on a slow decline though because it refuses to get rid of its outdated traditions.
The world would be much better if people valued respect. You don't have to agree with everyone's world views or outlook upon life, but the best thing to do is to remain silent.

I'm thinking about either buying a super expensive microphone, or just getting two semi-expensive microphones and using the Mid/Side Stereo technique. I practiced the Mid/Side Stereo technique a few months ago, and it worked flawlessly. Anyway, I have a few more months to figure all of this stuff out. Thank you for the suggestion!

Clinical death, isn't a final decision, so basically someone can come back to life after they die, provided they aren't vitally damaged, or suffer from dismemberment. though it's not something you see everyday. do i guess it classifies as a miracle.

People share their love of God to inspire and save lives, not to judge. People misunderstand spirituality because they've had bad experiences or just don't care to understand. It's selfish to think human beings created life, earth and the universe out of thin air. Did humans create animals too? Or did we evolve? If we evolved why are those same animals still present today? Who wants to live life without a purpose? Why are we here? Just to exist? Absolutely not. All things in life serve a purpose. Why wouldn't human beings? May God bless you and every nonbeliever.

The Bible says a lot of things, and it's one of the main reasons why I became an atheist.
Most of your questions are invalid too. If I ask you, "In what year did Martin Luther King, Jr. commit suicide? 2038 or 2044?", then would you be able to answer that? Just because a question is asked, that doesn't automatically make it a valid question.

You don't have an answer but you'll reject the higher power that does. No one will ever have the answers to everything. You're saying God didn't save those girls but how do you know which God they believed in or if they believed in God at all. You only point out the negative to support your beliefs but what about the good things that happen in life? The miracles. I know three people who are transgender and regret their decision later in life. That is a choice that can never be completely reversed. The things we see as laws, rules or limitations are in fact God trying to help us and save us as He did on the cross. Thinking about going to hell is only one sided. What about heaven. God is not sending you straight to hell when you mess up. He is a forgiving God. Hell is for people who have no intentions of good at all and only evil. People put their own rules on religion and that is not how it should be. If you submit to a higher being who loves you and wants to help you grow and blossom then you can't put your own limitations on it. God's love must be revealed. Not interpreted or with your own human thoughts. When you do that, I promise you will feel love and power. Until then, you'll see signs but you may never experience the full affect. People think spiritual people are crazy because that's just what it is, spiritual and not earthly.

If I could add: u explain and proclaim u don't believe or live in or by faith. correct? Faith is the substance of things hoped for with the evidence of things not seen. Uve stated that u attend school/college correct? I just can't fathom how u do not have faith becuz I'm pretty sure u are hoping to graduate in something so u can excel in life. if u set goals u have faith. if u expect to receive, accomplish, or do ...my friend u r hoping and if u are hoping there is faith somewhere within. I enjoy your relaxation videos, but it seems you're doing something you said you disagreed with, which is pushing your beliefs on others. By telling me to "stay faithless" you're encouraging me to belief the way that you believe, yet if I were a Christian or Jew or Muslim sharing my beliefs , that would be pushing my religion down your throat. I think the values presented in many religions make society better, and it's true that there will always be someone there to corrupt those values , but that doesn't mean everyone is. And I would disagree that you are faithless, because you're putting just as much faith into believing that there's nothing out there and no life after this as someone who believes there is. Just something to think about. I wish you the best in your life!
A suggestion =/= an imposition. For example... Saying "stay faithless" is a suggestion. Trying to implement laws that ban gay marriage, laws that ban abortion, and laws that implement intelligent design in the curriculum of public schools is imposition. Also, those things are considered "pushing religion down people's throats". I don't go into churches, mosques, and synagogues and force them to do a thing. I actually avoid those places.
Also, a lack of a belief is not a belief. Calling my lack of a belief a "belief" is the same thing as calling a bald head a "hair style". I don't believe there is no god. I just don't believe in the existence of any of the gods, and that requires no faith. Even if I did believe in the god of the Bible, I still wouldn't worship it because I refuse to bow to a god who willingly murdered thousands of innocent children to punish a Pharaoh after forcing that Pharaoh to be disobedient in the first place. There was no free will.

The Christian religion has never Made any since to me. It just so over exaggerated. I agree with of the stuff Buddha said though. I don't believe in the devil or hell, I don't believe god punishes, I don't think he cares at all what we do with our lives since he made it freakin possible to do it in the first place.
