It took me 1 whole month to complete the game. Many people complained that the last stretch of the game was not of the same standard and maybe that could be the reason, burnout from too much playtime at once. Me on the other hand, I enjoyed every second of the game.
@@JuliusCaesar103Did you experience any overheating and crashing issues with FF 16? I read articles about it. I want to start playing it but I am too afraid to
Thanks to one of your recent PlayStation news videos I was able to catch the PlayStation 5 sale in Germany and snag the standard version at 449€! Thank you!
Interesting. Some of the times threw me a bit like Control took you 30 something hours and it took me 69 to platinum/play DLC (though I read waaay too many of the files), and Ragnarok took you 70 some and it took me 38 to platinum. But my top 3 in Playtime (for PS5) are Elden Ring with 147 hours, Witcher 3 with 101 (I also had like 150 hours on the last gen version, I just love replaying it and doing so thoroughly each time), and surprisingly RE 4 remake with 80 hours (I've replayed it a ton too).
Really enjoying the videos keep it up. The only thing I'd say is it'd be nice to see more reviews in general. Whether it be games or hell even films or whatever. How come we don't get too many reviews if you don't mind me asking? Is it a time thing or something. Whatever it is it's fine be nice to see some more reviews every now and again though. Also I love hfw as well. The game in terms of tone is that perfect mix of old and new world technology. Be nice if the shieldwing could be used in the next game as well as an actual shield if they could make that work.
Hands down DSR looks so much better then elden ring tho it isn't fair to compare the two but in reality can't deny DSR's graphics are as next gen as it gets. The only other game I can think of that looks truly next gen is tekken 8 which I played recently on PC.
I have over 175 hours in Spider-Man Remastered & over 76 hours in Spider-Man Miles Morales on Steam. I hope that Spider-Man 2 releases soon on PC after its PS5 release.
My favorite is TLOU pt. 1 remake but I've spent the most time with returnal. Over 200 hours. If anybody wants to do a co op run, I'm still down. I keep going back perodically for tower runs and daily challenges. The gameplay is just phenomenal.
Oh Ryan I've been waiting for this! I really want to play every game on your list. Man seeing that gameplay of Demon Souls makes me want to play it! It's one I've been considering playing eventually and I haven't gotten to the Horizon series yet but I'm sure as hell going to. I know that I want to play Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West. That's definitely on my to play list! Returnal looks so beautiful. I love how colorful it is and it's just a dazzling looking skyfi shooting action game. I'm probably going to end up playing everything on your list and I've also enjoyed seeing some of the PS4 games that come across on this list.
have watched a few of your vids. subscribing now because it’s nice to see someone not downplaying HFW! Horizon series is a top fave for me. should be loved more
Thanks for the recommendations! Many of these are games that I started playing or wanted to play, but just hadn't committed yet. I think I'll be giving them a go now!
Dang, this made me go into my PS5 and realize I don't even have 10 PS5 exclusive games played yet. But FFXVI is top of the list with about 90hrs in after getting the plat. Now if you did this list for Switch, I’ve got a top ten full of hundred hour played games.
I absolutely love R&C Rift Apart. Even after getting the platinum i did a full new game plus run of the game. To me, this is still the only true next gen feeling game I have played on the PS5 (also the only PS5 exclusive game I own) which is sad considering the console is approaching 3 years old
@@spasiosthe game is great, what are you talking about? The story is not as good as the future trilogy on PS3, but the gameplay has never been as solid as it is.
@@goncaloduarte4683 my point is that the gameplay never changed. What did they add with the Ps5 game ? A button to avoid attacks but that’s really it (not only that but there is clearly a lack of innovation for the weapons)
@@spasios they did a pretty significant change to platforming in this specific entry and across games they did significant improvements with the gunplay, a big turning point was Into the Nexus, but aside that huge improvement in Into the Nexus, they still improved the gunplay in this specific entry, using R2 for aiming and shooting was a great improvement. Ratchet is an old franchise by now, at this stage you aren't going to see huge groundbreaking changes unless they do a full GoW style reebot. If you think about it, Ratchet and clank Rift Apart is as different compared OG Ratchet and clank 2002 as Super Mario Odessey is to Super Mario 64, Ratchet just had waaaay more entries in the same gameplay style.
Man. Mystic actually beat me compared to the PS4 list. Sure I got my PS5 on early 2022, but while I have multiple games with 2 digit hours, it seems like I haven’t reach a 3 digit game yet! Demon’s is my top game with around 70ish hours. Playing a souls with more than 10 character slots means I managed to do runs with every notable weapon in the game!
We have 5 in the same positions with similar times. However I have spent many many hours on The Last of Us Part 1. Platinuming, dlc, permadeath and speedrun mode. Man I love that game. So hyped for NO RETURN in the Part 2 remastered update. 😊
Ive had a ps5 for like a month, and in the last 3 weeks ive got like 124 hrs on rainbow six seige 💀 Crazy thing is, i still play many other games and gotten plats on them, like Horizon.
I just looked at my most played games, and I've got 1200 hours on GTA 5 and 1100 hours on Black Ops 3. Damn, I haven't played BO3 in nearly 3 years. It's crazy that I played it that much and still don't have the platinum (probably never will). The time played on GTA 5 doesn't surprise me. I've replayed that game to death and recently got the platinum on both versions, and also the platinum for RDR2 with a total of 960 hours. I really no-lifed a lot of games.
Returnal is so good. I definitely agree with you on that one. My favourite ps5 game too so far :). And everytime I see Hades I almost throw away what I'm doing to start that game. I need a list of your most played PS Vita games too btw!
My top games by hour so far on PS5 are Final Fantasy 16, Hogwarts Legacy and Demon's Souls. Horizon Forbidden West, God of War Ragnarok and Returnal are up there too. The backlog anxiety is real, man. Especially with all three systems I just keep buying games and putting them on the shelf for 'someday' and not getting through them nearly as fast. I guess that's ok, because I am enjoying the ones I am playing, but with the deluge of games coming in the back third of the year it's just gonna get worse.
I hope so too, I'm looking forward to Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 and that Alone in the Dark Reimagining, the latter has a prologue demo up and it's awesome showing there's potential in that horror title, Insomniac's Spider-Man games have always been hits and Insomniac has been consistent on making enjoyable titles, they never made anything outrageously bad so Spidey 2 will turn out fine.
@@bobafett4265 I have just never played Insomniac's Spider-Man games, and I want to. Previously (last year) I have played InFamous: Second Son and it was great. I should really play the first Insomniacs' Spider-Man (2018) this year.
My top 10 (excluding times for PS4 or PC versions) 10: Cyberpunk 2077: 61 hrs 9: Horizon Forbidden West: 63 hrs 8. My most played games are the Yakuza series, Persona 5 in both versions combined and Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone, i'm going to be honest, the only time i go back to English music now is when it's an artist i'm nostalgic for like N-Dubz and Chipmunk, i loved them both growing up :)
Returnal is also my #1 PS5 game. It’s honestly in my top 5, maybe MAYBE, even top 3 favorite games of all time. Sometimes I just pick up my controller and do a run randomly for funsies. I gotta get back in and do a tower run again soon. I didn’t know they had reset the leader boards!
My Top 10 most played PS5 games 1. Elden Ring 2. Witcher 3 PS5 Patch(never played this game before) 3. Hitman World of Assassination 4. Hogwarts Legacy 5. Demon Souls Remake 6. GT7 7. Resident Evil 4 Remake 8. Spiderman PS5 Edition 9. Returnal 10. Ghost of Tsushima Director Cut Ngl tho this generation has been the absolute worst out of all generations. All we have are remakes & remasters of old games & sequels of established IPs like GOW, Spiderman,Horizon etc. Elden Ring is the only good game I have played on my PS5 & it's not even a Playstation exclusive. Heck it's even available on previous gen consoles.
1. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold war 89 hours 2. Returnal 82 hours 3. Horizon FW 72 hours 4. God of War Ragnarok 55 hours I did platinum it. 5. Borderlands 3, 34 hours. 6. Resident Evil 4 remake 30 hours. The reason why black ops cold is my most played is because I was in a second lockdown in early 2021 and playing Nuketown nonstop with a few friends.
Returnal is also my favorite PS5 game. What a rush. Glad PC people get to play this game, cause it’s well worth it. And Returnal is my 2nd most played PS5 game, with Gran Turismo 7 at #1 and Watch Dogs Legion at #3
1100 hours on BO3 and 1200 hours on GTA 5. I knew I'd played them a lot but damn. It's weird because there are other games that I felt I played more than BO3 and GTA 5, but apparently not.

I definitely agree with you mystic by far my favorite game this generation is definitely returnal such an amazing game. I don’t play hard games. I usually play on medium or easy because I like to enjoy my games but with returnal that game was just too fun. One of my most proud platinums. Just finished up the two twisted metal platinums. Those are some of my favorite games ever made huge fan. Definitely excited to see what PlayStation has in the future. Definitely want a new Killzone that would be awesome. I hope one day we get that. But as always playstation is life.
Hi ! Maybe a bit off topic here but I need an opinion. I never owned a console and planned to get PS5 disk edition. I want to get games on physical drives in the future. The first game that I will buy alongside the console is Ghost of Tshusima as I always wanted to play that but in the future I think that maybe I will find some cheap PS4 disks second hand or some promotions on local stores. And of course PS5 games but older PS4 games should be compatible and should be cheaper. Should I stick with this plan or should I get the digital version of PS5 ? Thanks !
My most played PS5 game so far is Hogwarts Legacy at 85 hours. I got the platinum trophy and I absolutely loved that game and it is one of my favorite games from this year. Ryan please do try Hogwarts Legacy out, i highly recommend it Does anyone recommend Final Fantasy 16? I cannot decide between it and Crisis Core Reunion. I heard the former caused PS5 overheating and crashing issues on the PS5, which worries me.
@Mystic I often hear the word backlog and you now mention it aswell. I always had a backlog and what helps is: simply don’t pre order and buy one game at a time, play it, finish it and then buy a new one. And why? Because it will make your life easier but it will also filter out the crap you thought you wanted to play b. In reality many backlog titles collect dust as we never even took it out of the seal to play. I had bought Far Cry 5 but gave it away as I hadn’t bothered to even unpack it over a year after release, Forza Horizon 5 same thing, older titles at a cheap price or digital copies at a bargain in the PS store same thing. When will I have time to play Dead Island 2? Sinply buy a game you like, play it, finish it and then next. Saves a lot of money and makes life way easier.
Which game is it. My second most played game is BO3 with 1100 hours which shocked me. I haven't touched that game in about 3 years. I'm surprised it's still my second most played ever. I never would've guessed I played it that much back then, and the saddening part is, I don't even have the platinum. I have like 20% of the trophy list, FML.
Didn’t know you could sort by hours played and look at the list. Gonna have to try it out. I know Minecraft is going to be up at the top. Still can’t get the damn platinum trophy. It seems like I go into the nether and die and lose all my stuff, a few months later say to myself, I’m going to get that platinum trophy. I level up get armor and weapons go into the nether and die. Rinse and repeat.

Just playing through uncharted 4 again (ps5 version) I forgot just how incredible it really is, a true 10/10
Im playing it right now... my god this game is amazing on ps5
done 30 hours on returnal still on first Biome, frustrating is an understatement
Nice List !!! Excited for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 !!!
My top ten ( 11 for reasons )
11: Outriders - 36 hrs
10: Fall Guys - 45 hrs
09: Hogwarts Legacy - 46 hrs
08: Diablo 4 Beta - 51 hrs
07: Star Wars Jedi Sur. - 75 hrs
06: Returnal - 75 hrs
05: COD Cold War - 123 hrs
04: Demon’s Souls - 139 hrs
03: COD MW2 - 173 hrs
02: Elden Ring - 183 hrs
01: Diablo 4 Retail - 204 hrs
Diablo 4 clearly cheated, great video once again
How is Jedi Survival? I have heared people say that Jedi fallen order was way better game
Im playing Returnal right now and i cant believe i didnt know about it years ago, such an immersive experience!
Man ghost of Tsushima is legendary. You reminded me i still need to check it out again on my new OLED
Returnal is just that damn good
have watched a few of your vids. subscribing now because it’s nice to see someone not downplaying HFW! Horizon series is a top fave for me. should be loved more
I Know its a PS Channel But just to see your Xbox Achievement List like this would be fun to see
Returnal was out of the world. Loved every bit of it. Best ps5 game!
Returnal was absolutely amazing 👏🏾 and slept on in the mainstream game media
Returnal! Hell yeah love it!
Thanks for the recommendations! Many of these are games that I started playing or wanted to play, but just hadn't committed yet. I think I'll be giving them a go now!
My top 5 ps5 games
Returnal
God of War ragnarok
Horizon Forbidden West
Ratchet & Clank
Street Fighter 6
No Hogwarts Legacy?
As a non completist and non trophy hunter the amount of platinums is always crazy to me 😂
Dang, this made me go into my PS5 and realize I don't even have 10 PS5 exclusive games played yet. But FFXVI is top of the list with about 90hrs in after getting the plat.
Now if you did this list for Switch, I’ve got a top ten full of hundred hour played games.
I absolutely love R&C Rift Apart. Even after getting the platinum i did a full new game plus run of the game. To me, this is still the only true next gen feeling game I have played on the PS5 (also the only PS5 exclusive game I own) which is sad considering the console is approaching 3 years old
Yeah and the game is not that great ultimately especially if you know the game since the PS2 era. The formula remained the same and never changed.
@@spasiosthe game is great, what are you talking about? The story is not as good as the future trilogy on PS3, but the gameplay has never been as solid as it is.
Demon souls bro
My top 10 ps5 ones are
1 - assassins creed Valhalla (206 hours)
2 - forbidden west (114 hours)
3 - final fantasy 16 (105 hours)
4 - Lego Star Wars (100 hours)
5 - hogwarts legacy (95 hours)
6 - gow ragnarok (72 hours)
7 - gta 3 (67 hours)
8 - resident evil 4 remake (64 hours)
9 - crash 4 (63 hours, over 100 on ps4 as well)
10 - ghost of Tsushima (58 hours, 80 on ps4 as well)
My most played PS5 game is Kena with 135 hours and for PS4 is Resident Evil 4 UHD 326 hours
Did you earn the platinum trophy for all of them?
@@bigsmokey7843 all apart from crash 4 and Lego Star Wars . Crash is never happening lol
sick! love to see this. Any must plays from this list?
My most played is NBA 2k23 at over 1069 hours. Well, when youre playing 3 seperate franchises, time seems to go up...fast.
Good video dude i been playing south park stick of truth for the fourth time on pc
Ive had a ps5 for like a month, and in the last 3 weeks ive got like 124 hrs on rainbow six seige 💀
Crazy thing is, i still play many other games and gotten plats on them, like Horizon.
You should play more obscure PS3 games
I love the gameplay of ff16, but i have to be in the right zone, because ngl after a long day in the bodyshop, the cut scenes had me falling asleep
Massive inspiration to us smaller creators Ryan 👌👌
Returnal is so good. I definitely agree with you on that one. My favourite ps5 game too so far :).
And everytime I see Hades I almost throw away what I'm doing to start that game.
I need a list of your most played PS Vita games too btw!
Deaths Door is amazing…I love the score!
Great selection of games!
Demon souls was such a great launch release. What a great time
My top games by hour so far on PS5 are Final Fantasy 16, Hogwarts Legacy and Demon's Souls.
I can't wait for Armored Core VI!
I hope it will be good!
Boulders Gate 3 is eating my life away. 150+hrs already and plenty more to go. Amazing game
In regards to what you're saying about Control there's a show called Warehouse 13 that you might like.
My top 10 (excluding times for PS4 or PC versions)
10: Cyberpunk 2077: 61 hrs
9: Horizon Forbidden West: 63 hrs
8. Need For Speed Unbound: 73 hrs
7: Spider-Man Remastered: 118 hrs
6: Fifa 21: 144 hrs
5: Spider-Man Miles Morales: 145 hrs
4: WWE 2K23: 185 hrs
3: Modern Warfare II: 284 hrs
2: Black Ops Cold War: 295 hrs
1: WWE 2K22: 321 hrs
My most played games are the Yakuza series, Persona 5 in both versions combined and Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone, i'm going to be honest, the only time i go back to English music now is when it's an artist i'm nostalgic for like N-Dubz and Chipmunk, i loved them both growing up :)
john yakuza
yep my most played games also include yakuza and persona xd
played a bit of miku probs not as much as other people cause I am really bad at it 😅
@@yukurusu45 I can only do Hard difficulty and a little bit of Extreme difficulty on Miku myself
@@James-gj8rn last time i played yea barely was able to clear hard ones
@@yukurusu45 I can't get good at Extreme difficulty no matter how much i try
Returnal is also my #1 PS5 game. It’s honestly in my top 5, maybe MAYBE, even top 3 favorite games of all time. Sometimes I just pick up my controller and do a run randomly for funsies. I gotta get back in and do a tower run again soon. I didn’t know they had reset the leader boards!
ps5 need to have more games. Its very concerning the line of games until these past 2 years become still very low
My Top 10 most played PS5 games
1. Elden Ring
2. Witcher 3 PS5 Patch(never played this game before)
3. Hitman World of Assassination
4. Hogwarts Legacy
5. Demon Souls Remake
6. GT7
7. Resident Evil 4 Remake
8. Spiderman PS5 Edition
9. Returnal
10. Ghost of Tsushima Director Cut
Ngl tho this generation has been the absolute worst out of all generations. All we have are remakes & remasters of old games & sequels of established IPs like GOW, Spiderman,Horizon etc. Elden Ring is the only good game I have played on my PS5 & it's not even a Playstation exclusive. Heck it's even available on previous gen consoles.
What a great video and list 😏
Great video sir
0:28 bruh, these are my feelings every time i think about playstation or any games in general
Good stuff man 😊😊😊
Definitely have to get back into Returnal at some point. It looks like a challenging, fun time.
I know a guy who's played Mass Effect for nearly 800 hours. And no sign of stopping.
I didn't like Horizon Forbidden West, that doesn't mean I'm downplaying it or whatever. The graphics are great, but it was just way too boring to play
1. Call of Duty Black Ops Cold war 89 hours
2. Returnal 82 hours
3. Horizon FW 72 hours
Mine
1. Hades
2. God of War
3. Elden Ring
4. Horizon
5. Demons' souls
Returnal is also my favorite PS5 game. What a rush. Glad PC people get to play this game, cause it’s well worth it. And Returnal is my 2nd most played PS5 game, with Gran Turismo 7 at #1 and Watch Dogs Legion at #3
I swear i got like 2.5k hours on fortnite and like 1k on apex bro im down bad
1100 hours on BO3 and 1200 hours on GTA 5. I knew I'd played them a lot but damn. It's weird because there are other games that I felt I played more than BO3 and GTA 5, but apparently not.
Now I know were Bungie got those tower lasers from. They ripped it off from Returnal.
My top 10 played ps5 and ps4 games:
1. Elden ring - 218hrs
2. Returnal - 193hrs
3. Hollow knight - 130hrs
4. Skulls of the shogun - 113hrs
5. Red dead redemption 2 - 104hrs
6. Destiny - 90hrs
7. Alienation -90hrs
8. God of war ragnarok - 90hrs
9. God of war - 88hrs
10. Control - 87hrs
Can’t talk about Returnal enough, don’t feel bad.
very nice video bro. I enjoyed this one. Seeing each game and hearing your perspective, your hours played, etc.
Now I know what games to play next... :)
I am currently playing Rachet and Clank: Rift Apart for my 142 Platinum. Currently 5 hrs in and 35% of the trophies.
10:27 New Video Idea “IT TOOK ME 10 YEARS TO GET THIS PLATINUM TROPHY”
Thanks !
Horizon Forbidden West is the best game on PS5!
My most played PS5 game so far is Hogwarts Legacy at 85 hours. I got the platinum trophy and I absolutely loved that game and it is one of my favorite games from this year. Ryan please do try Hogwarts Legacy out, i highly recommend it
Does anyone recommend Final Fantasy 16? I cannot decide between it and Crisis Core Reunion. I heard the former caused PS5 overheating and crashing issues on the PS5, which worries me.
Did you watch the whole video? He talks about final fantasy 16 and how much he recommends it.
@@BoltonGaming Well, what about the alleged overheating and crashing issues?
@@unicorntomboy9736only happened on a very small amount of systems. I played it through fully twice and mine was fine
Words alone could never do Hades justice.
Returnal was my first ps5 game and its still one of the best
My highest clocked in game is Call of duty with a whopping 733 hrs and counting
Which game is it. My second most played game is BO3 with 1100 hours which shocked me. I haven't touched that game in about 3 years. I'm surprised it's still my second most played ever. I never would've guessed I played it that much back then, and the saddening part is, I don't even have the platinum. I have like 20% of the trophy list, FML.
The DLC for Ghost of Tsuchima is worth it, very good :)
I complete horizon zero dawn / forbidden west in the same week full platinum. It was CRAZY ! Both clocked in 180 hours.
That's crazy.. Playing 180 hours in a week when there is only 168 hours in 7 days.
