- KHAO LAK, THAILAND - Finding authentic Thai food in Khao Lak wasn't easy. But for me, Ko Yot Thai is the best restaurant in Khao Lak for Thai street food. The quality of the food is very high and the dishes are insanely delicious. It was the best meal I ate in Southern Thailand so far on the road trip. It was so good I ate here multiple times and ate most of the menu. But in this video I eat the crispy pork with salt and chilli, fern salad and Kua Kling Gai. The flavours were so good from the hot wok. Chef really knows what he is doing. If you are a Thai food lover and visiting Khao Lak in Phang Nga Province, Ko Yot Thai Restaurant (ครัวโก้ยศ อาหารตามสั่ง) is a must visit restaurant. It is probably the best crispy pork in Thailand that I have eaten.

Haha lovely Thai handwriting, I am impressed by that 😂. It's a good video and interesting to see how they cook. But the Kua Gling looks different from the authentic ones that I had.

The most important thing in every meal that is spicy.
You should eat lots of fresh vegetables. At the very least, there should be fruit in the end to balance the body.
This is a recommendation from a Thai person.

But if you are familiar with spicy well. I think you will travel more easily without worrying about spicy food.

Wow, your penmanship in Thai, Joe, is quite good. The best non-Thai people who can write in Thai, that I have seen are Reina (Reina in Thailand) from Japan & her husband, Hiro's. Anyway, the lady chef could understand yours, was all that matters, right? The food looks scrumptious. Yep, the price is on the expensive side, but if the food is good, I'm not going to complain.
haha I am surprised people can read it to be honest. the food was absolutely delicious, including all of the times I went and didn't film. definitely my fav restaurant in Khao lak and one of the best I ate in full stop. Very friendly too

Fun fact if the restraunt your going to looks old / run down/ family owned. It’s most likely really good from my experiences as a thai person. Idk if this works for other asian countries as well.

I was meant to be staying right across the road from Mali coffee in 2020, I think you know how that went. Food looked great, I was worried Khao Lak may not have had much good local food but was happy to see that there is something other than resorts.
You will have to return one day. Sure it is pretty resort orientated there, I must admit. But this restaurant was top

We call it Prig Nam Pra or Nam Pra Prig which mean Fish sauce with chilli (I'm sad you don't call it Prig Nam Pra). Nam Prig Pra is Fish chilli paste😂.

sure, it is Ko Yot Thai Restaurant: goo.gl/maps/p8fUdABS2NoXDFM46 I always have it in the description. You need transport to get there as it is 5-10 mins out or something, just get a taxi or use the grab app. It is worth going because it was the best food I have eaten there

It is just 10 mins away by car from your hotel... I think it is worth going out for if you can get a grab or a taxi.
