New to your channel! I'm pleasantly surprised that you immediately caught the wordplay! The third meaning of MAPA is "mata" (eyes, for Mama) and "paa" (feet, for Papa). As a rapper, you might be interested to know that SB19 are absolute beast rappers. The rap line (3 of the 5 members) have very distinct but equally topnotch rapping styles. Pablo has a lot of rasp and grit in his voice, is very quick, and can be an absolute animal when he gets carried away. Josh does melodic rapping with a lot of expression, sometimes a bit flirty, but he can definitely go hard too. Ken raps with a deep, dark, velvety voice. Their new song, Gento, showcases all these styles really well. But as you discovered, they're also great vocalists. Pablo- Leader, a soloist, has a bachelor of arts in english degree in PUP wrote and produced/co-produced most of their songs. Pablo and his family owns a clothing business and a cafe.
Justin- vocalist and creative director, studied AB-MMA (Multimedia Arts) and graduated at De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde with Honorable Mention.
Josh- a soloist, Sub-vocalist and rapper, and a professional gamer also a dancer, help choreograph their songs, all of them collaborated. He was a call center agent before, and a very well-spoken and smart guy.
Ken- Main dancer, lead rapper, vocalist. He grew up in a church in the care of his grandparents, his father and mother were both abroad working and living overseas. He was the an architecture student before he came to train with SB19 members. He is very athletic and musically inclined. He is now a fashion Icon and has a clothing brand like Pablo.
Stell- main choreographer, dancer, lead vocalist with wide vocal range. He's the brain to those top-charting moves. He's been competing as a cover group for a long time just like the other members. He's very funny too, extremely relatable. Btw, he's a gemini if that helps.

New to your channel! I'm pleasantly surprised that you immediately caught the wordplay! The third meaning of MAPA is "mata" (eyes, for Mama) and "paa" (feet, for Papa).
As a rapper, you might be interested to know that SB19 are absolute beast rappers. The rap line (3 of the 5 members) have very distinct but equally topnotch rapping styles. Pablo has a lot of rasp and grit in his voice, is very quick, and can be an absolute animal when he gets carried away. Josh does melodic rapping with a lot of expression, sometimes a bit flirty, but he can definitely go hard too. Ken raps with a deep, dark, velvety voice. Their new song, Gento, showcases all these styles really well.
But as you discovered, they're also great vocalists. They also write and produce/co-produce their songs, are great dancers who can choreograph their own dances, and are absolute monsters live. There's such immense talent in this group, and MAPA is only the tip of the iceberg.

SB19 is a different n unique group. All the five members can sing LIVE, rap, dance n do choreography and creatives..MAPA is the very first song that made me love these boys...can you think of a boy group today who can even think of composing a song in gratitude of their parents? J-Hope of BTS wrote a solo song "Mama" in 2016, thanking his mom for all her efforts to support him (Hey Mama, now you can lean on me) . In 2015 Jin of BTS released a cover of the song "Mom", also dedicated to the songwriter's mom. Suga of BTS wrote songs about his life that included his parents' tribulations (Amygdala). What I love about Mapa is the multiple play on the title and the poetry of the lyrics as well as the great vocals.
