Those stubby metric sockets are so helpful. I have the Metric Quinn 1/2 and got the Husky metric 3/8 on clearance for $25. They have some in handy more times than I can count. especially with My low profile ratchets
Trying getting a set of the 1/2” Capri stubby impacts sockets, and pair them up with the Milwaukee stubby impact. That is the best setup for doing suspension and brakes
Any insight where to gef replacement slide? Sold my epiqs since Im no longer in a shop and bought nice 72 husky boxes a few years ago. I have two slides top drawers that fell apart. Still works ok but would like to replace tbem as my top drawer is full like yours and very heavy. HD cust service on two occasions said they dknt know. Was great finding your channel as i thought i was the only person to ever move from a SO box to a Husky.
I think I had to call Husky Corporate and they warrantied the slides and drawers for no-cost. That said, you might have to pay for the slides, which shouldn’t be much, but I’d start there. HD is no help with warranties…
I’m curious. What do you not like about the Blue Point ratcheting wrenches. I have both metric and SAE sets and they don’t seem terrible. Granted, I’m not using them daily. I have heard others on TH-cam say they don’t like theirs.
The gear mechanism froze up on nearly every one I have. Granted, I don’t use them daily, and maybe I need to do some general service, but they haven’t grown on me
Yessir I am. I think the problem is, I used a grease that isn’t conducive with the gear mechanism, or being stored unused for long periods, so more than likely, the problem is user-fault
Wicked tour man! What's the info on that Capri ⅜ master impact Set! Looks like a solid set! My only question is!, what sizes does it cover, skips at all?,exc! Seems or looks like a super solid setup! Really pops in the foam tray! That's a sweet looking set👋
Thank you. SKU: CP53000-55MSXDMT for the impact set. The sizes are 6-24mm and NO SKIPS!!! A fantastic set of sockets and the cost is $199. Capri is having excellent deals right now, so I’d get on an order immediately and you’ll save even more $$$
@@MidwestToolReview man that's awesome! So it pairs up great alongside the wrench sets then huh!? I have been looking into Capri! I have a ratchet and a wremch set, the 4way angle wremch set 6-24 mm no skips, hasn't let me down! It's a super solid set
It does. I haven’t been disappointed by Capri yet, and I have a good amount of their tools. I’d say, if the price and performance are parallel, makes great financial sense to invest!
I admire your collection. It's terrible that you have to dig but that's the side effect of a great set. 👍
I haven't even watched it I'm just glad a new toolbox tour video had been uploaded. I've watched them all!
Very impressive tool collection that any mechanic would be absolutely 💯 proud to have and showcase. Now, clean up your shop before I call your mother
Thank you and I started that process today!!!
@@MidwestToolReview because your mama will get your attention
@@MidwestToolReview and I forgot to mention your progress on the old truck is really awesome. I would Like to buy it when your done
Love ur setup dude. Especially the basic box loaded with top shelf tools. Imo money should go to tools first
Agreed. Never understood why anyone would spend $15k on a box, but only $1.5k on tools…smh
Yes. Spend the money on tools not the boxes. I have a US General 3 series n 2 Craftsman. No issues.
Can’t preach this enough, but buying a $15k Snap-on box is all about pride, and no matter the argument, you can’t change that in men

Looks good thanks for the video and information.
No problem 👍

i bought the flex heads in 08 and used them daily for a couple years til i left the trade. i loved them. no issues with them either.
I’ve had the SAE set almost 15 years and metric set up to 25mm and love them never broke any
