Thanks my friend. Lots of small projects.
I enjoyed building the fuselage the most !
Thanks my friend... Maybe I'll get your engine attached on there soon!
Great job! Thank you!
Thanks, Glad it was helpful!
Looks good
Thank you for that...
What I did on my LE was to cut out a seat back profile in medium density fiberboard . I anchored one end of the tube to the mdf . iI then placed the mdf and attached tube vertically in a vice.and used a torch to gently heat the tube starting at the attached end. I worked my way across the tube, heating and bending as I went. Although a bit smoky , i ended up with a perfect bend with no dents. No bender needed
Thanks for your comments... Yep, I'd recommend your way too... I started to do it that way, but thought I'd run out of gas half way through... I need to make a trip to the welding shop, almost out of all my gasses now & Texas heat is removing all the gas from me...lol
Nice, does anyone know what the typical welded up weight of these legal eagle fuses come in at. I saw a close clone done in titanium and not a lot saved, 26 lbs
Les told me it was a good weight... I'd guess if you build it 22" wide instead of the 24" & you build to plans (that's what I did), you'll be around 36 pounds... Les did alter from plans (as far as tubing sizes) on his orange one & he was around the 26 pound mark... Hope that helps...
@@davidadkins1926 yeah, i don't see the radical weight savings on a titanium frame then
sure would save on cost with steel
