In case anyone needs this, Bonjela works wonders for me. I did the sea salt soaks, saline sprays, diluted tea tree oil with coconut oil… nothing seems to do anything? I took one day break from these methods and tried Bonjela and it worked. In three to five days, the bump subsided so much that I could see the post of my nose stud again 💞
What measurements do you use to dilute the Dettol with water exactly? I’ve been doing this for the past 3/4 days now and I’m not sure if I’m making the mix to harsh as recently it has has started leaking a type of puss from my nose piercing bump :(
PSA - I dealt with a bump for about 8 weeks and nothing, I mean NOTHING would get rid of it. I finally went to the piercer and they gave me a special tea bag (Naked brand...) and they said that this would work miracles. The bump got smaller but wasn't gone, so I went back to the piercer. I had no idea (and nobody on the internet seems to either) that the piercer can literally massage the bump away. It was bloody and it hurt, but the bump is gone. The problem was a badly adjusted piercing...so I advise going back to the piercer if you have a bump. A lot of these solutions cause scarring...I wish I'd gone back when it first appeared. I didn't realize it would be so easy to fix.

The crushed aspirin works really well for me. You leave it on overnight and with in a couple of days it goes away.

Girl, the bump on my nose was driving me CRAZY. I got one about 2 weeks after i got my nose pierced and I had no idea when it would go away. Finding this video was a blessing because the Dettol worked!! The bump I had for two months was gone within 5 days of using the Dettol. Thank you so much!!

Hello, I got my regular earlobe piercing last november and 3 weeks ago I got this bump on my right piercing. I'm not sure if it's there because I always sleep on my right or because I changed to a plastic stud (which i dont think is the reason bc the left ear is doing fine). I didnt use the sea salt soak because everyone has been saying that it needs to be non-iodized sea salt and it's so hard to find that in where I'm living. So I have just been soaking it with hot water and just when i thought it's getting better, it just keeps on being the other way round. It bleeds once in a while when I clean it. So now that I have found this video of yours and seeing how good it worked to you and the others, i feel like trying it out. I just need help with the accurate measurement because I'm quite bad with guessing or eyeballing measurements lol. REALLY HOPE YOU'LL REPLY ME ASAP. THANK YOU.

great vid! thanks for the tips. I have a Bump on mine and I've been doing the sea salt soak and tea tree oil. I will try the Dettol tonight. I went to my piercer he said he thinks my ring (16g) might be putting too much weight on my nose. so he switched me to a stud yesterday. Hope it goes away soon. once again thanks for the encouragement.

Ouch! The problem was the kind of tee tree oil you were using. The one from body shop is not natural! Anyway i am glad dettol worked so well.

Urooj Bukhari aww im really sorry u had to close ur piercing :( was it due to a infection? That would suck because I think I might have a small infection around it too but I'm just gonna continue to clean it.. that's how piercings works, alot of discomfort for a long time, months. But in the end everyone seem to get healed so hopefully I do too! it's sad you had to close yours.. unless you didn't like it anymore !
I put hot water from the microwave with tea tree oil dipped a qtip put it on the bump as a hot compress it drained its almost gone now i did it last night

I just wanted to personally thank you for making this video. I litterally tried everything from Vitamin E Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Asprin Paste, Lemon Juice, Etc. It seemed as though the Tea Tree Oil was making it worse at certain points. The Asprin Paste made it slightly smaller, however, it completely made my nose dried out, flakey, red, and just wouldn't get any smaller after a certain point. When I started to feel hopeless I turned to youtube, again, and came across your video. I live in The United States of America, that said, it's quite difficult to find Dettol here so I went to Amazon and ordered some. Within a week and a half to two weeks I couldn't even see it anymore! Thank you so much!! You are a life saver!

OMG, I had a bump on my piercing for like 5 days and I try the salt thing but didn’t work but I find yo video and brought Detto right away, I put it on and next morning I wake up when the bump has gone, thank u for yo tips ❤️
when did you start wearing makeup again? and did you just stop wearing in the nose area or all together
Dettol is commonly used in the Caribbean for “personal care”. You bathe in it. Put it in bathtub and soak in it or a bath pan😊
After using every other method this seems to be the only one that worked. Mine wasnt a bump like yours however, mine was down to infection, i could squeeze a lot of pus and blood out of it and nothing was making the infection go or the bump shrink. So i started using this, i can notice my bump shrinking after a day and also hardly any pus at all can be squeezed out it. I have been cleaning the inside of my nose bump too with dettol as it was an infection, it was painful on the inside but now the pain is really going away and my bump is shrinking and no pus almost at all. However, this method is turning my bump into a hard scab now, im geussing after it does this it will just fall off as the bump will just turn into a scab. Is this what happened to you? fuck all the other methods this is the best along with leaving it alone and not touching it at all. I got this infection from spinning my nose ring all the time, it was pierced and i asked for a ring, as the first time i got it pierced a year ago my stud fell out because it got so swolle
I'm currently trying a sulphor based acne mask on my bump on my helix + hydrogen peroxide. If that doesn't work I'm trying this stuff!
Did you leave the Dettol after cleaning your nose piercing? How long did you leave the Dettol on for?

Had a bump that wont go away, been to my pierce, shes fitted a bioflex bar but aggravated the shit out of it and it's worse than before. I've had enough now. Tried everything!!

Dettol does work. I buy a Dettol antiseptic ready to use wash spray bottle online. I have my industrial pierced & it loves to get bumps on the bottom of the piercing. But if I start to use my spray they soon go away. The spray bottle is great to take on the go too.

Tried everything to remove mine, tea tree, salt soaks. Nothing seems to be working and it will occasionally scab near the stud but going to try this dettol thing and hope it works as i'm about ready to cut it off haha. I have had to repierce my nose twice with my stud as it fell out and i'm fairly sure that's why i've got the bump or an infection. Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the tip! Just bought dettol...cant live with that bumb any longer. I currently wear a little stud but want a ring...but that will look even worse with that stupid bump :(...the stud sorta hides it. Hope it works for me too!

Thank you so much girl for the dettol suggestion. It worked like magic. The result started showing next day. Also took some antibiotics prescribed by my doctor. It's all good now.

Boil lil water in a pot and put cotton in it ..once it's boiled.. add dettol.. the ratio should be 4:1 (water:dettol) which means if you're having half pot of water then add half cap dettol. Dab the cotton pad on that bump area.. twice to thrice per day . You will get the result in two days.
@@Foodieme6385 also don't forget to wash your hands with soap before applying. Once the nose area is dry.. apply Neosporin. It will be more effective. My nose is healed properly. Also change your jewelry to gold one if possible.

@@priyamondal2909 it will take some time. Apply using cotton & slowly your skin dries out & the bump gets smaller. But it might make your skin dark so their maybe darkening of the part of the bump. So, Don't worry about it it's normal. It will take around 1 month or 3 weeks like that

I’ve had it for so long and tried literally everything. Nothing works. I went to dermatologist an they said I have to remove it surgically and close my nose piercing.

I'm so glad I found this video I tried detol before all the tips you gave in this video and it completely dried my skin out to the point where it started to go completely black and peel off (not a pretty sight). Completely put me off :( but now I'll dilute it and see how it goes, THANKS!

I got my nose pierced in december and I've been doing sea salt soaks and tea tree oil my bump on the outside got small (ps didn't disappear) but my nose bump on the inside of the nose isn't going away I haven't been changing jewellery and took all precautions but it has been a long time and I'm getting tired of the bump can't get rid of it

Hi would this work on double forward helix piercings? I have hypertrophic scar on both holes where the needle went through. I have tired tea tree oil, sea salt, noting works. As well I have a industrial bar and I have a keloid on the bottom hole it never went away. It’s still there any advice? It sort of big but not like the ones on TH-cam
You can also use toothpaste I put it only on my nose bump and left it on for a few hours and washed it off with saline solution and after 2 days it was gone

the bump on my industrial piercing is fairly big, do you think it will work if I use the dettol? I’ve been using it for a week and it seems to be peeling a bit and scabbing. When it scabs I soak it off.

Ayuushaaa yess girll also you will see your skin peel because it’s dry so I just took tweezers and peeled it off and in a couple of days of peeling layers out your keloid will flatten but make sure to clean it still
