THIS WORKS!!! Trust me!! Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see immediate results after three days or even five days. It took me six days for my bump to fall off! STAY CONSISTENT
I was tempted to pick mine, as it resembles a small pimple. I don't have keloid skin but I'm going to try this every night with the exception of leaving salt on my nose at bedtime and hope for the best 🤭
I had to come back to the comments to let y’all know that THIS WORKS. It took about 3 weeks of me doing this every night and cleaning it with the saline spray everyday but it went away. I experienced a reduction in size in the morning it it seemed that at night it would grow back a little, but overtime it went down in size. Trust the process. Don’t touch your piercing with dirty hands. Keep it clean and it will go away. Thanks so much for sharing. So glad I don’t have a bump on my face anymore 😅
Thank you so much girl! I literally got the other side of my nose pierced & I had a bump that has been there for the past few weeks. I tried everything from sprays to oils and nothing was working. I was so sad & it was affecting my self esteem. This WORKS I have been doing this routine consistently for a week and it’s gone! I literally told myself if this works I would come back and comment. You’re the best!!!
For piercing bumps (not keloids) I’ve rinsed it under warm/hot water, then use a qtip and clean with a tiny amount of apple cider vinegar and let air dry, then put a dollop of hydrocortisone ointment on the area 2-3 times a day until gone. This has worked for me multiple times, and it’s usually gone within 24hrs.
Coming back just to say THIS WORKS. I had a bump on my nose forever, I was so close to just taking my piercing out. I did this for a week straight and the bump was pretty much gone. Out of the 7 days I did soak my nose twice in one day. I am still soaking my nose until I think it’s completely gone for good
So I just got this nose piercing about almost a month ago, young lady told me to wash it with sea salt and put tea tree oil if there is a bump. I didn’t listen and slowly developed a very agitated keloid 😭 literally put salt water on it and hot compresses and it helped but it was still there!!! Mehn I turned to TH-cam as my last result because I am beyond frustrated, watched this video before bed so I tried it but I could say I’m so relieved I woke up this morning and the keloid has went down as if it’s not there at all. 😩😭 I literally wanna cry. Thank you 🤍
Ladies, this is a lifesaver❤ My nose piercing was infected and I thought it would be impossible to recover! I started doing the ‘salt bath’ every day (mornings and nights) 10 mins each time for a couple of days! My nose piercing is just as it was at the beginning and is completely recovered 🎉
@@hellotinashe, i think my nose piercings may be infected. do you think this can help? i’m not sure how to put sea salt on the infected area inside my nose, will using it just on the outside be enough or maybe just doing the 10 minute sea salt water soak is enough on its own? i think one of piercings is healing nicely, the other isn’t and i do the same thing for both piercings so i don’t know what’s going on. one side is swollen some, is somewhat painful to touch, and is red. thank you so much for your time in advance.
@@TaylorMakenzzieee, it developed very quickly after i got my nose pierced on may 12th. i’ve had issues with both sides of my nose piercings but the right side was always the worst, as i was bleeding very badly when i got it pierced to the point that the piercer was nervous when he noticed how badly i was bleeding. my swelling in my nose was so bad that i started having issues breathing and got scared in the middle of the night and ended up removing both of the piercings. i’m just now in the process of keeping them clean and letting them close altogether.
Mine looked like an ulcer. The wound kept opening and closing in the course of months but I was determined to leave my piercing on. I got my nose piercing the end of Oct. It’s now February and I just started her method. Salt and water. Leave salt on the wound then wash it down. Then use qtip dipped in with warm water and tea tree oil. It’s now gone! It’s only been three days since I’ve done what she said.
@@itsskya318 unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I had my keloid for a little over three weeks, I ended up going back to where I got it pierced and the piercer told me I ended up getting a keloid because I kept cleaning it. She said in some cases some people heal faster than others and since I was still cleaning it I was irritating it so she advised me to leave it alone for one week to see what happens. And literally in two days my keloid was completely gone. I made sure I didn’t put my skin care near my nose ring or on my keloid. Even now I only use water by it.
1. make a sea salt solution using distilled water warmed up with sea salt. 2. do this three times a day. 3. crush an aspirin and use the distilled water to make it into a paste. apply the paste to your piercing with a q-tip. i got my piercing done early december and developed a huge bump because my nose ring experienced trauma. my recommendation is to start off with a stud to let everything heal THEN go get a ring. my reason why is because the ring can twist in a fresh piercing and it allows the dirt and oils on the ring to slip inside the fresh piercing. my bump is not as irritated and significantly went down but i am going to see a dermatologist because i don't want permanent damage on my skin. best of luck to you all dealing with this!! ❤️
My piercer put a long stud in and I kept snagging it or moving it up and down to clean it and I kept getting bumps. I finally figured out how to take out the original stud which was a push pin and I put a short one in and put aspirin which has helped in the last. I really hope this bumps leaves and stays gone forever
Nose pierced newbie here! Got my nose pierced 3 weeks ago and a bump appeared at the beginning of week three. Good old youtube saved the day. I didn't find this video until the day after I realized my bump was getting bigger. I noticed the bump on Sunday, I started doing this method on Monday and didn't see the bump getting smaller until Wednesday. It's now Thursday and the bump has gone down drastically. The bump has flattened and it looks a little dark but I think it's dry skin that will come off. Honestly, by Wednesday night, I was tired of putting the salt on my nose so I just cleaned it with the saline solution w/ tea tree oil and left it alone. I believe it'll be all the way cleared by Friday evening or Saturday. - Clean the piercing 2-3 times a day w/ saline solution (warm sea salt water and tea tree oil) - Do this method before going to bed or in the morning. - Warm compression with the saline solution helped but just do it before bed or in the AM. - LEAVE IT ALONE. Constantly cleaning it and moving the piercing will irritant the bump. I probably would've seen faster results if I wasn't cleaning it 5 times a day. lololol
Guys litteraly nothing worked for me, I used tea tree oil and sea salt made a paste and left it over night. It burns but works sooooo great. Got rid of it in three days. It works!!!!
Thank you thank you thank you! I thought I was going to have to take out my new piercing but I left the salt on overnight for 2 nights and the large keloid just dropped off. You're a doll 🖤
Ok soooo let me say girl you were spot on!!!!!! I woke up two days ago with a small bump on my nose piercing and freaked out so I came to TH-cam University for help and came across your class!!!! I did exactly what you said, woke up this morning and it was completely gone🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 Thanks girl!!!!!!
Literally a life saver I just tried this about 10 minutes ago and the bump already looks like it shrunk I did the soak for 6 mins and then i did the paste for 2 or 3 minutes and rinsed it thanks ❗️
Let me just say.... babaayyyy this freaking works! Thank you! I thought my nose was never gonna be the same and I’d have to get rid of my piercing. Thank goodness thag wasn’t the case!
watched this video 3 days ago, i had the biggest bump on my nose ring 😭, i popped it or 'drained' the bump then i tried the sea salt soak and i've been doing it for 3 days now (at morning and night) then this morning it crusted up and peeled right off! this works 💕
How much part water and salt should I put? I've had mine for like a week and I've been trying alot of methods and I saw your comment so I was gonna see if it worked for me!
This is amazing!!! Today is the fourth day I've applied this mixture and the crust of the keloid has fallen off!! I'll continue using this until it's completely healed but I'm so happy that it worked
Worked amazingly!!! Took me about three days to get rid of it . I did exactly what she did . I was at the point where I was going to go get it removed because it wouldn’t go away ! Thank you 😊
@@julietxoxo5302 it took a few days and I alternated between this and tooth paste! Also If you have isopropyl alcohol at or above 70% that works wonders
To be 100% honest, of all the videos I’ve watched on how to get rid of a bump this one helped me the most!!! I’ve been doing this for about a week and it is almost completely gone. Thank u so much!!!
I trust Black women, so I will be trying this. My piercing ripped out in my sleep and after putting it back in the bump formed 🙄. Will update. Thankssss
I really hope this works!! Ive had a keloid for about 1 week and it’s gotten worse since 3 days now! But I ’m going to try this tonight😩 EDIT: THIS FREAKING SAVED ME!! TH-cam was my last resource and the jumó was so freaking huge and real red. Took me 1 week and it completely went away.
Wow 😳 this really works! I had a nose piercings before but it built a keloid and I wasn’t educated on how to remove it and it scared me because it was so noticeable so I got it removed and took out the piercing. I went to get 2 more new ones just recently and noticed a keloid forming on one. I let the sea salt sit on my nose all night and all day. I went to wash it off and it’s literally fading away as if it didn’t exist in the first place. Great idea! This works thank you so much! It looks like a scar is forming but I’m glad I don’t see a bump anymore!!!! Will keep you updated and will be doing this until it’s gone for good!!!
Just when i wanted to give up on my piercing i tried this and it worked wonders since day 1 literally nothing worked for me before hugeeeeeee thanks for this video so happy im not longer walking around with a big bump 😊
Just came back to say that YES himilayan pink salt also works! I used it yesterday and my bump it smaller today. I’m sure in a few more days it’ll be much smaller
@@ACakes98 so it worked. My keloid that’s been there for weeks fell off a week later but unfortunately it’s coming back. I’m gonna try again. It definitely shrinks them over a period of 3 days. Maybe I should’ve kept doing it to prevent it from coming back.
THIS WORKS!!! I tried this yesterday in the afternoon and in the evening and my infection has gone down sooo much. I put the sea salt and water solution on my nose piercing for 7-8 minutes in the afternoon and again before bed, and left the salt crystals on it while I slept for 5 hours. I just woke up to gently remove them and the bump I had which was filled with pus is so small!! Im going to do this tomorrow too twice!! Thank you so much!
People often confuse Hypertrophic scarring for Keloids. Keloids are usually large and hard, where as hypertrophic scarring is softer and smaller and usually develops on piercing sites due to an inflation of the skins collagen production. The skin produces collagen when healing the piercing.
I had it on my nose piercing and I got rid of it in two days by using a cotton swab and rubbing some tea tree oil diluted with hot water, around the bump. It completely went. It may come back if you accidentally catch or hit your piercing. Just rub tea tree oil on it
This was such a game changer in healing my nose bump. I was at the point of just taking it out. I started working on it last Tuesday and scab came off yesterday. I did add the 100% tee tree oil to my sea salt for the paste and it was amazing. It mildly stings but definitely works! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Wanted to come back and say IT WORKS!! DO IT DO IT DO IT!! I had a keloid bigger than my nose stud, nothing made it go away but this did. I did those shot salt soaks 3 times a day and then left the salt paste on once a day overnight and within 4 days it’s FULLY HEALED AND GONE. Consistency is key with this but stick to it it will clear up. Good luck!!
@@reginang5741 it had been there for literally like 4 months ngl, spent so long trying to get it to be better but nothing worked apart from this. I’m sure it will work even better On a fresh one . Goodluck
@@michasiawegierska7389 omg you’re giving me so much hope, cause I currently have a huge one that I’ve tried everything to get it to go away!! So this is giving me hope this will work for me!!!!
After giving this a try, I had to come back and say, IT WORKS!! I was doing the saline first, but no great progress. I then tried the sea salt warm compresses, better but not the results I wanted. I did this sea salt soak and immediately saw a big difference. I did the sea salt paste and kept it over night, another big difference, but not exactly what I wanted to see in the healing process. I then did a water solution of sea salt and tea tree oil...this was the big winner. I put small drops of it twice a day. My bump has finally shrinked as small as the nose stud and has crusted over to heal completely.
Got my nose pierced in May and developed a keloid early July due to my mask pulling on it and washcloths getting stuck!! My nose ring was pulled by my washcloth and fell out 3 days ago..but I still had the bump. Have been doing this since Thursday and my bump just fell off. It’s Sunday now. I’m so happy!!
Yes 👏👏👏 My nose piercing is under a month old I had to take it out for an MRI. I put jewelry back in and developed a pretty big keloid. I tried “bump oil” for a week and a half and then stumbled on this video. It took two days of doing this routine and it dried up and fell off! Thank you thank you thank you so much!!!!
THANK YOU!!! this is my first keloid & ive been trying to see how to get rid of it & ive just tried it today & it immediately got smaller within an hour!
This worked for me! I thought I'd have to take my piercing out. I had the most awful keloid. I'm still worried it may come back but for now this method definitely helped get rid of the keloid. I'll probably do this method once a week just as a preventative measure. Definitely try this method - it works!
Omg...this process literally worked overnight...less than 24 hours! Thank you so much for helping us with nose piercing bumps. I was ready to take it out and let it close....but not now! 🎉🎉🎉❤
I tried salt water compress, didn’t work, piercing solution, didn’t work and it kept going but coming back and eventually I had a big red bump which I thought was a proper keloid. But then I tried her method of sea salt and tea tree oil paste and it went within four days, worked like magic!!!!
I’m experiencing the same thing.. omg I’m so aggravated. Got mine done recently. Not even a full month yet and I’ve developed a granuloma (big red pimple) that won’t go away.. I did use the non iodine salt but I didn’t submerge my nose. It did go away by compression but came back.
Just wanted to leave a updated comment to say it definitely works!! I got a bump after constantly playing with my piercing during my healing stage 🙄 Anyway I did the sea salt soak for five minutes before bed and then put the sea salt water “paste” on the piercing every night for four days and the bump is gone!
I wanted to give this a fair shot before commenting. The first week of my nose being pierced was traumatic. I accidentally almost pulled it all the way through, my 5yo went through a Stone Cold Steve Austin stage. I had to get a longer ring put in from the size of my bump. After a couple of months, I STILL couldn’t get it to go away. I soaked my nose every night, applied the salt/paste on the bump, then woke up and soaked again. After a solid week, it’s almost gone😭 THIS is the way!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
HEALED! I tried this method and it worked a treat. However, if I stopped doing the salt bath for two or more days, the bump and discomfort returned. I got my nose pierced in October last year and it was taking forever to heal with both a stud and a ring. However, after I changed my piercing to a threadless stud it was completely healed in a day. No more bump, no more pus, no more redness. The threadless piercing was purchased with a needle onto which you attach the bottom of the piercing and pull through your nose and just attach the gem on the top. It's so comfortable and healed.
The bump you got was most likely just a piercing bump or something similar to a blister. A piercing or irritation bump is filled with fluid and can be healed with home remedies, however a keloid is built up scar tissue around the piercing and would need to be surgically removed. I used a tea tree oil solution and sea salt soaks to get rid of mine but I also sort of broke the rules and drained it by lightly poking the top layer of skin with a needle because I got super annoyed with it lol but it went away with in a week.
This video saved me! I had the most horrible, horrible nose bump. It was red prominent, bleeding and oozing with pus (sorry, lol) I panicked thinking it was a keloid, kept spraying it with the saline solution I bought from amazon recommended from a friend that did the trick when I had a stud in. I tried at it for weeks, with it only getting worse the more I irrititated it (I switched from a nose stud to ring, and no I'm not alergic to any jewellery) until I finally had it when it got to its worse stage, it looked like flesh it was very evident on my nose and I was so embarrassed and defeated I caved and searched for videos with bumps that looked like mine until I found this and another. I went out, bought the salt and did a soak that very night. I kid you not the very next day it went down significantly! I kept soaking it once everyday before bed as well as applying this amazing tea tree oil I bought from amazon, today the bump is literally almost gone! it's returning to normal and I couldn't be happier! All this is to say stick by this video! do not pop it as it mightget worse. Your bump is NOT a keloid (those are very, very, VERY hard to get on your nose and can only be surgically removed and grow bigger instead of going down) this video is a godsend! stay patient and your bump will go away!! :D
This worked! Mine was opening and closing constantly. It got UGLY before it got better I’ll clarify that. Days 1-3 I was worried I was making it worse but the bump was gone (and the skin around it open) so I kept at it. Once I got to a point where it wasn’t seeping at all and it had mostly healed I switched back to just saline. It took a total of 10 days to look normal but it was so bad if I even washed it,the red bump would swell like a massive blood blister and if I put a bandaid on the second I took it off and the air hit it it would again swell up like a ballon. So this saved my piercing for sure because I was to the point where I was like if this isn’t working I’m taking it out
I just wanted to say thank you because I tried this on Friday, and by Monday, my bump has totally gone down. Now it's just healing because it's still a bit red and bleeding, but all is good. I will keep using sea salt and hot water to clean my piercing until it heals perfectly.
Trying this right now thanks queen will update y’all soon God willing! 🙏got mine pierced in mid January just saw the bump a few weeks ago! Ugh so pissed! I definitely snagged it a lot and haven’t cleaned it for the past few days Hope this works for everyone too!
QUEEN YOU ARE AN ANGEL!! 😆did this for two days and it completely fell off!! Thank you so much my piercing is adorable again!!😆🙏thank God! EVERYONE THIS STUFF 10000% WORKS
You’re amazing! 🤗💕 I literally took regular table salt, mixed it with the saline solution and I made a paste. I left it on at night time and I put a band aid over it so the salt would stay in place and omg… the bump was wayyy smaller the next day. Thank you 🥹
OMG I live in France and I watch like 10 videos talking about keloid in French and nothing worked but on Friday I watch like 5 videos in English and I end up removing this keloid in 3 days I am so happy 😅 so thank you very much
Hey! I have to come back and give my opinion I was praying this disappeared from my nose! 2 days later after doing this morning and night it felt down!! My goodness thank you so much girl!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sea salt paste with saline drops and Tree tea oil left on overnight use plaster to cover the area - 3 days later the red/ black spot dried and fell off ! I’m going to keep doing this for a few more days and then then once a week until it heals ❤
Thank you!!! I did this last night and it totally worked! I dipped my q tip into some tea tree oil (a little goes a long way) and mixed it with the solution! Soaked for 5 minutes, then took the salt and placed it around my piercing. It formed a little salt capsule around my piercing and this morning I went to wash my face and it has went back flat! I will continue the regimen for 3 days, but this one is a winner!!
i’m gonna try this, thanks! i’ve had my nose piercing for 2 years and never dealt with a keloid bump but out of no where it appeared and it’s soooo ugly. i really hope this works!
Yikes! Hope this works for you. You could also try adding a drop of 100% tea tree oil if you're not sensitive to it. Search some videos on TH-cam. Good luck xo
Glad to know I'm not the only one, I've gone back to the piercer 100 times and they always yell at me when I tell them I soak it or use tree tea oil makes things even more confusing
hey thank you!! i got mine pierced 2 and a half weeks ago with a stud and i had been super super busy and hadn’t had time to clean it a lot so today i checked and saw a super super small keloid i’ll try this tonight thank you!!
I got my piercing about 3 weeks ago and my piercer let me choose between a hoop and a stud and I personally thought I looked better with a hoop so I went with that. Little did I know I was supposed to get a stud first so now I’ve been dealing with this bump. Anyone else can relate? And have you tried this?
Same! I got a hoop because I didn’t want to risk it being pulled out on accident and now after almost a month I’m starting to get a bump. I just came across this video so I’m going to try it out.
I had the same exact thing! My piercer didn’t tell me healing would be different and now I’m dealing with a persistent bump. Lmk if anyone has tried this!
Dear I just wanna thank you. I don’t know you, but guys this is my testimony. After 5 months of piercing, I got a big keloid that covered my nose ring. I don’t know how many keloid solutions i bought on amazon etc, although i used these solutions on a regular basis, nothing didn’t work. When I discovered your video, I feel like it was a true expérience that you were sharing with us. I bought my organic sea salt dissolved it with warm water, and applied it on my keloid with a cotton swab. I applied the sea salt seeds that was sitting at the bottom of the container directly on my keloid… and and after 3 days my keloid shrink wonderfully. I can see my nose ring again. Thanks for sharing, my advice to y’all, Sea salt, warm or lukewarm water is the key to your keloid struggles. Give it a trial.
This works! I actually had a bump also with some redness and thought it was an infection. After a doctor visit it wasn’t. I made a paste with sea salt and a dash of 100% tea tree oil and it dried it within 3-4 days. I put the paste on overnight and covered it with a bandaide. 👍👍👍
GIRLLLLLLLLLLL i went to bed with a big as bleeding bump covered in sea salt, and woke up with a 2 times smaller healing litte bump.... THANKKKKKK YOU 4 THIS
This really works, I actually had a bump also with some redness after piercing my nose 1 month ago. I started to just remove the ring and let the hole close up but after looking at your video numerous times i decided to try it. Day 1 i seen a big difference. I think i might be allergic to the saline solution, that do not work for me at all. Thank you so much.
Ok I got tired of looking at my bump and cleaning w salt water and it was doing nothing . After I did this it helped significantly😭 Day1: I was like what am I doing as I don't have a shot glass so I used a cup and dipped my whole nose and then put a salt blob on it. Next day it was still big Day2: it still looks big but I do the process again however I'm more patient and careful Day3: after I took that dry salt blob off it looked surprisingly smaller. However was it healed?no not yet. Day 4 ok y'all wtf I see my bar 😅 is time to downsize right after the bump💀 btw bump is completely gone however there is a small tiny scab Day5: scar is completely gone and my piercing looks brand new. I know just do salt soaks I stopped putting salt blobs. Ps: idk but I heard some comments it burns. So that made me relieved cause I felt burning 😅
Here to say this works! My nose bump/ keloid was huge and red. It wouldn't go for 3/4 weeks. Piercer told me to just use saline solution but nothing worked apart from the advice in this video. Within 3 days, there was a huge difference. It's almost gone now :)
I had my nose pierced when I turned 18 and took it out because I had struggled with a huge ass keloid on it and it would not go away but I took it out and waited like 5 months and got it re done again this past July and the keloid came back for like 3 months and I kept using tea tree oil and cleaning it and it finally went away it’s been gone for like a month or so maybe.. I think maybe even longer but I heard when you get it done a second time you won’t have all the trouble you did out the first time and it’s true
This literally worked for me! Thank you so much. The only thing that I might add is, if your keloid is not popped it takes longer to dry out. I popped mine, with the sea salt paste it burns like hell but it literally just comes off the next day when you're cleaning your nose. It dries it quicker if the keloid is open.
@@ayeshasayeed6857 I popped it with my cotton bud. I just pressed and pressed until it popped. It sounds horrible, but it healed after I popped it. Make a paste with sea salt and hot water, you'll obviously want it to cool first then apply it with your cotton bud. Bare in mind, I probably had 3 keloids after my first one 😭
Thank god I came across this video. I just got my nose pierced 3 weeks ago and a bump started growing and it looks disgusting. I will try this method and keep ya updated. 😘
Commenting for people who had the same problem as me!!! I got my nose pierced over a year ago and had a stud in all that time because it took so long to heal, it just never felt like it was fully done, so I just got it switched to a hoop about 3 months ago and ever since I’ve had a bump because of that. I never knew if it was an allergy to the metal or what bc I felt like I was cleaning it correctly !!! So I watched a ton of vids like this one combined things from each one and within the last week started to do the salt water rinse twice a day, and for only 2 nights so far I did a mixture of sea salt and tea tree oil as a paste over it, and I just had most of the bump come off tonight! It shrunk and got all dried up and just fell off while washing my face, so happy, a little bit of a pinkish raised part left but going to keep doing the same thing and hope it will get to be somewhat normal :’-) It might be a good idea to space everything out a bit to allow it time to properly heal, but I combined all these things really within my the last week and it already made such a difference! I took a few days break from the tea tree just so I wasn’t doing it every night too in case it was too harsh but I’m not sure
Trevon Stewart update is it ended up coming back and now I really don’t know what to do :’-( I’ve been trying to just do saline spray and more gentle stuff to slowly heal it but it’s just exactly the same
Thank you for this posting this remedy…I smacked my nose in an upward motion while sleeping (ouch) bump appeared a couple days later😩 I just finished a 3 day soaking and it just fell off😁 this is now part of my regular regimen for my new nose piercing💖
i had had a keloid for about a month (got my nose pierced at the beginning of march) and it was very itchy and painful. i tried this method and added tea tree oil to the mixture and it worked so well??? it took about 5 days for the keloid to disappear and my piercing is perfect now thank you!!!
@@cheerywhite6832 so basically i would take a shot glass, i would put big salt inside, add water and a few drops of tea tree oil, then immerge my nose piercing for about 5 mins, and then i would take a qtip to grab the salt and would apply it on my nose piercing. i think i let it sit for a few hours, until it fell off actually! sometimes the whole night but idk if it’s recommended :/ i switched to something else now anyways ! hope this helps
it really works yallll. my bump was getting so big and cleaning it with the regular spray they gave me wasn’t working and if anything it was getting bigger. i tried this and i was kinda scared at first cause after the first night it turned a red black color in one spot but it had went down slightly. i did it again the next night and it was literally black and bloody and crusty and i was about to go get it checked on cause i was really worried but it’s normal. on day 3 the scab started peeling off and by the end of the day the whole thing was goneeee. i’m so happy fr.
I tried this and it’s been two days, it’s practically gone. some pus came out overnight as well. I assume that tomorrow it will be 100% gone! I’ll continue with it a few days after to ensure it doesn’t come back. Thank you
This seriously worked, I got my nose pierced in may and off and on it’s gotten infected. A bump formed and it was really sore and tender I ripped it out in my sleep and woke up to it dangling on my nose, I’ve done this for literally two days and my bump is like 90% gone.
Hey guys. I know this seems obvious to mention, but I had a nose piercing bump for a month & I cleaned it with saline solution twice a day assuming it would go away on its own. But I woke up one month later & tripled in size I googled & Dr Google wasn't much help besides scaring me. I the found this video & long story short it's like almost gone it's flat & barely noticeable. GUYS THIS WORKS. it worked for me many nights of sleeping with salt but I do see results with her method.
How did you get yours to stop sinking?I’ve had mine for two days and I’ve tried sticking bandaids between my skin and the piercing to let the wound heal but now I have a white gooey bump beside it!!:( what do I do? I don’t want to take it out:(
@Raelynn Macias you can either get a little bit of tissue stick it up your nose so the piercing can stay up or you can get a bandit and stick it under your nose piercing either way these two methods helps a lot choose which one you would feel comfortable with the most hope this helps xx
@@raelynnmacias308 the reason why it’s sinking is because of the swelling around the new piercing just keep pushing it up when it sinks to make sure your skin doesn’t grow over the piercing anything else will infect it
Let me be the first to say that I was the one scouring the comments looking for social proof, once I was convinced to try it, i then had reservations of how my face would look. So my process: Did 2 salt water soaks for about 13 mins each and they were about ten hours apart. (1 gal of distilled water + 4 tsp coarse sea salt walmart brand). Secondly I did the tea oil + sea salt paste at like 9pm then cleaned it off around 11pm with tea tree oil. I cleaned the area with tea tree oil then immediately re-applied the paste and went to sleep with it on. It was a rough night's sleep but well worth the sacrifice. The next morning the bump was significantly smaller and black. The following day I didn't do much to it or pay much attention to it. Went to bed that night and when I woke up it was completely gone, no scarring or anything!!!! I'm so thankful I found this video.
I can't believe it 😭 y'all I'd been struggling with a bump for over a YEAR now, I tried an endless amount of products, salines, oils, etc. bc I heard once in the beginning from some crazy person that the salt doesn't work so for a year I just never even bothered with it A few days ago my bump was getting much worse again, super painful and big. I was super desperate just to have it gone finally and watched this video. IT WORKS!! It's Wednesday night now and starting Sunday, I'd soak in the morning and then leave the paste on all day as long as I was home (which was everyday except today) then I'd take any remaining paste off, soak again and then put the paste back on overnight. Over the few days the bump basically calmed down, completely scabbed over, and just now it fell off, and it's just GONE. There's like a bit of excess skin still and I'm sure it'll leave a little scar but that amount of progress in just FOUR DAYS you guys, I'm amazed. Gonna keep doing it obviously when I can to make sure it stays away, but yeah. TRY THIS!!!
I had a small bump on the inside first then on the top later of course aggravated by the piercing accidentally coming out. Best method is dunking the nose in warm sea salt water at least twice a day. This is the best method that worked for me, had to first replace a pin with a small stick because I reacted to the silver but now its okay, no swellings. Still dunking my nose too.
am i allowed to use kosher salt? i really need answers cuz i looked it up nd it said it was fine but i’m not sure. also what if you’ve been using regular salt for a week or two? would that cause my bump to stay permanently?
I can personally vouch and say that this works I personally used the salt water paste and left it on for about 5 minutes rinsed it off and then used tea tree oil and it went away in 2 days
Pure tea tree oil and salt paste! The keloid goes down and goes away within a week! I've had one for weeks and the salt soak by itself wasn't doing anything. I always wash it with the saltwater and then apply the paste after.
@@lorenaescobar4198 get some non iodised sea salt and grind it down to a powder. I just use two spoons. Mix some salt and tea tree oil to make a paste and apply overnight. The salt helps exfoliate and dry out the skin. Edit: two spoons to grind the large granules. You only need a pinch of salt.
THIS WORKS!!! Trust me!! Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see immediate results after three days or even five days. It took me six days for my bump to fall off! STAY CONSISTENT
I was so close to giving up and taking my piercing out because i hated how the bump looked but.. yes it really does work! I couldn't believe it!
Did u leave the piercing out ?
I was tempted to pick mine, as it resembles a small pimple. I don't have keloid skin but I'm going to try this every night with the exception of leaving salt on my nose at bedtime and hope for the best 🤭
RIGHT! Just did it and mine fell off in 2 days!😭🙏
@@1stladyovo- leave it in
I had to come back to the comments to let y’all know that THIS WORKS. So glad I don’t have a bump on my face anymore 😅
so glad to hear it worked! :)
@@yummicicipizza1221 Thank you for sharing

I am still soaking my nose until I think it’s completely gone for good
tell me you used to remedy
So I just got this nose piercing about almost a month ago, young lady told me to wash it with sea salt and put tea tree oil if there is a bump. I didn’t listen and slowly developed a very agitated keloid 😭 literally put salt water on it and hot compresses and it helped but it was still there!!! Mehn I turned to TH-cam as my last result because I am beyond frustrated, watched this video before bed so I tried it but I could say I’m so relieved I woke up this morning and the keloid has went down as if it’s not there at all. 😩😭 I literally wanna cry. Thank you 🤍
did you leave the salt on your nose over night? i have a small pump on my nose piercing 😩
That's so great to hear! Glad it worked out 😊
@@hellotinashe, i think my nose piercings may be infected. do you think this can help? i’m not sure how to put sea salt on the infected area inside my nose, will using it just on the outside be enough or maybe just doing the 10 minute sea salt water soak is enough on its own? i think one of piercings is healing nicely, the other isn’t and i do the same thing for both piercings so i don’t know what’s going on. one side is swollen some, is somewhat painful to touch, and is red. thank you so much for your time in advance.
How long was the bump there previously?
@@TaylorMakenzzieee, it developed very quickly after i got my nose pierced on may 12th. i’ve had issues with both sides of my nose piercings but the right side was always the worst, as i was bleeding very badly when i got it pierced to the point that the piercer was nervous when he noticed how badly i was bleeding. my swelling in my nose was so bad that i started having issues breathing and got scared in the middle of the night and ended up removing both of the piercings. i’m just now in the process of keeping them clean and letting them close altogether.
Yay🎉
Mine looked like an ulcer. The wound kept opening and closing in the course of months but I was determined to leave my piercing on. I got my nose piercing the end of Oct. It’s now February and I just started her method. Salt and water. Leave salt on the wound then wash it down. Then use qtip dipped in with warm water and tea tree oil. It’s now gone! It’s only been three days since I’ve done what she said.
Hey! Has it happened again? Did the method keep working for u?
I hope this works for me. I got my nose pierced in March and recently (about three weeks) I got this keloid that will not go away :(
@@blossomingroro7110 did you try it if so did it work ?
3. crush an aspirin and use the distilled water to make it into a paste. apply the paste to your piercing with a q-tip.
i got my piercing done early december and developed a huge bump because my nose ring experienced trauma. my
recommendation is to start off with a stud to let everything heal THEN go get a ring. my reason why is because the ring can twist in a fresh piercing and it allows the dirt and oils on the ring to slip inside the fresh piercing. my bump is not as irritated and significantly went down but i am going to see a dermatologist because i don't want permanent damage on my skin.
best of luck to you all dealing with this!! ❤️
I’ve heard using the aspirin is not a great idea as it’ll burn your skin
My piercer put a long stud in and I kept snagging it or moving it up and down to clean it and I kept getting bumps. I finally figured out how to take out the original stud which was a push pin and I put a short one in and put aspirin which has helped in the last. I really hope this bumps leaves and stays gone forever

This works! My nose is back to normal is 24 hrs. I saw immediate relief in just a few hours. Crazy!
- Clean the piercing 2-3 times a day w/ saline solution (warm sea salt water and tea tree oil)
- Do this method before going to bed or in the morning.
- Warm compression with the saline solution helped but just do it before bed or in the AM.
- LEAVE IT ALONE. Constantly cleaning it and moving the piercing will irritant the bump. I probably would've seen faster results if I wasn't cleaning it 5 times a day. lololol

People often confuse Hypertrophic scarring for Keloids. Keloids are usually large and hard, where as hypertrophic scarring is softer and smaller and usually develops on piercing sites due to an inflation of the skins collagen production. The skin produces collagen when healing the piercing.
so if it’s hypertrophic scarring do you use the same method to get rid of it
I had it on my nose piercing and I got rid of it in two days by using a cotton swab and rubbing some tea tree oil diluted with hot water, around the bump. It completely went. It may come back if you accidentally catch or hit your piercing. Just rub tea tree oil on it

I did this sea salt soak and immediately saw a big difference. I did the sea salt paste and kept it over night, another big difference, but not exactly what I wanted to see in the healing process. This works !!! I usually do not trust home remedies because they do not work for me, but I tried this, and it worked. I'm so happy and relieved
I think people use keloid and granuloma interchangeably.... Oh well... We all know what she's talking about... The dreaded NOSE BUMP😱🤪
Im so sick of my nose piercing bump! Thanks for this video, I bought sea salt and a shot glass today I hope it works for me! 🙏

Give it a trial.
that's soo awesome to here!!!!
After I did this it helped significantly😭
Day1: I was like what am I doing as I don't have a shot glass so I used a cup and dipped my whole nose and then put a salt blob on it. Next day it was still big
Day2: it still looks big but I do the process again however I'm more patient and careful
Day3: after I took that dry salt blob off it looked surprisingly smaller. However was it healed?no not yet.
Day 4 ok y'all wtf I see my bar 😅 is time to downsize right after the bump💀 btw bump is completely gone however there is a small tiny scab
Day5: scar is completely gone and my piercing looks brand new.
It's almost gone now :)
this is my first keloid with my nose piercing & i’m so nervous
Evasia Davis tea tree oil girl it’s a essential oil it’s strong but you do it twice a day and it will go away
Evasia Davis me tooooo
same sis
Mines too..and I am sooo pissed off
What about dark circles around your nose piercing? Does this work for that too? To clear up the dark spots/circles
I liked the video after just reading the comments, I’m confident I’ve never seen such results I’ll be consistent knowing this works
How did you end up popping yours?
@@ayeshasayeed6857 I popped it with my cotton bud. I just pressed and pressed until it popped. It sounds horrible, but it healed after I popped it. Make a paste with sea salt and hot water, you'll obviously want it to cool first then apply it with your cotton bud.
Bare in mind, I probably had 3 keloids after my first one 😭
Thank god I came across this video. I just got my nose pierced 3 weeks ago and a bump started growing and it looks disgusting. I will try this method and keep ya updated. 😘
Good luck! 🤗
Any luck?
Thank you for this!!! I snugged mine a few weeks ago literally a cpl weeks after getting it pierced by accident and mannn!! Praying this works!!
This works, put it on at night woke up with a clear bump free nose piercing . Thanks🙏🏾
I just got one today, and I really don’t wanna get rid of my nose piercing 🥺
hopefully you'll be able to get rid of the keloid. just make sure you're consistent with cleaning with salt. good luck! :)
this worked WONDERS!!! i had no faith but when i tell you it only took 3 days 😮❤
this makes me soooo happy to hear! glad it worked out!
I ended up using a 1/3 measuring cup. My nose bump is shrinking yay! Thank you so much for the advice 🥰
No lies the shot glass salt worked immediately. Leave your nose in the hot water for a 20-30secs. I even went further & leaving sea salt on there.
how long did you leave the sea salt on?
It shrunk and got all dried up and just fell off while washing my face, so happy, a little bit of a pinkish raised part left but going to keep doing the same thing and hope it will get to be somewhat normal :’-)
It might be a good idea to space everything out a bit to allow it time to properly heal, but I combined all these things really within my the last week and it already made such a difference! I took a few days break from the tea tree just so I wasn’t doing it every night too in case it was too harsh but I’m not sure
Can I get an update please?
Trevon Stewart update is it ended up coming back and now I really don’t know what to do :’-( I’ve been trying to just do saline spray and more gentle stuff to slowly heal it but it’s just exactly the same
Do you still have it now?
I'm going to do that right now 😊 I've been battling with this keloid on and off for the last month 🤦♀️
Yay it's gone! 🥰
@@miss_d_joe how long did it take???
Thank you for this posting this remedy…I smacked my nose in an upward motion while sleeping (ouch) bump appeared a couple days later😩 I just finished a 3 day soaking and it just fell off😁 this is now part of my regular regimen for my new nose piercing💖
i had had a keloid for about a month (got my nose pierced at the beginning of march) and it was very itchy and painful. i tried this method and added tea tree oil to the mixture and it worked so well??? it took about 5 days for the keloid to disappear and my piercing is perfect now thank you!!!
How long did you leave sea salt on your nose piercing?
Thank you
It’s works !! Do it if you have a keloid do this !! mine literally was gone in two days!!
This help SOOOO MUCH!! My bump was gone in 4 days
Never realized how much you go through with a nose piercing first it was sinkage now this 😩😂
How did you get yours to stop sinking?I’ve had mine for two days and I’ve tried sticking bandaids between my skin and the piercing to let the wound heal but now I have a white gooey bump beside it!!:( what do I do? I don’t want to take it out:(
@Raelynn Macias you can either get a little bit of tissue stick it up your nose so the piercing can stay up or you can get a bandit and stick it under your nose piercing either way these two methods helps a lot choose which one you would feel comfortable with the most hope this helps xx
@@chyannea4328 thank you so much!! I slept with bandaids last night and it’s already healing so well! Thank
You again!!❤️
@@raelynnmacias308 the reason why it’s sinking is because of the swelling around the new piercing just keep pushing it up when it sinks to make sure your skin doesn’t grow over the piercing anything else will infect it
@@mwilliams8119 shouldn't they just put a longer ring in of it keeps sinking ?
I can't believe it 😭 y'all I'd been struggling with a bump for over a YEAR now, I tried an endless amount of products, salines, oils, etc. bc I heard once in the beginning from some crazy person that the salt doesn't work so for a year I just never even bothered with it
A few days ago my bump was getting much worse again, super painful and big.
TRY THIS!!!
That's awesome! Glad it worked for you!
Jamir Jackson you specifically need sea salt
Without iodine I normally use the McCormick sea salt grinder
Denise Rosales thank you sm
I use Redmond salt... 🤷🏼♀️
What do you mean by salt paste? I bought the tea tree oil but it's taking long..
