Just a little tip if you know you are going to go through it. 4 teaspoons is a gallon of distilled water and you have a gallon of soak. Just put it into a coffee cup or microwavable cup and heat it for just a few seconds and your good.
After sea salt wash what should I apply to my piercing? Should I apply betadine? Plz reply
nothing
Can I use normal salt?
And for snakebites I've heard you shouldn't rinse them with water, is that true?
If you use table make sure it's non-iodized salt. You can you a saline spray to clean your snakebite piercings :)
Thank you

I'm tired of soaking my other eyebrow in saline cups. This isn't my first rodeo, but my question is, for an outer (end closer to ear) eyebrow piercing, do you think the saline pad soaks would suffice right from the start of the healing process? I'm just nervous to deviate from what's always worked for me.
More back story if interested...I've always submerged my piercings with great success for healing. I just did my left outer eyebrow, it's pretty much healed, now I'm doing my right. Bending and dipping my nugget into water is jacking up my back though. Does the padded soaks actually soak into the newly forming fistula?
There can be several factors to take into consideration here, so I would recommend consulting your piercer to get their recommendation on the best aftercare for your piercing :)
For the belly button, is it the same mixture but kept on for 10-5 minutes?
It will be the same time for any piercing location :)
Hello! I don't have access to sea salt currently, can I just use regular warm water soak for my helix bump???
@@samiksha537 that will not have the same benefits. If you don't have access to deal salt or a saline spray, and have a bump your normal aftercare is not helping with, go see your piercer or a medical professional
most piercers recommend to gently dry a piercing after it gets wet, should i not do that with this method?
Yes, you can pat dry or let it air dry. If you pat it dry, make sure you you're not using anything that can get stuck on your piercing like cotton balls or gauze
ive had a nose piercing for a month and its recently got a piercing bump, will this help get rid of it ?
@@hannahjohnston9066 it can help, and see your piercer is you have continued issues
we dont have sea salt in my country so just a question is potassium iodate the same as iodine? I found it written on the salt composition so idk if i can use it
Make sure it's a non-iodized salt. You can also use a saline spray to clean your piercings :)
@@bodyartformsi cant buy the saline water rn so is there anything i can do until i buy it please?? and i dont have a non-iodized salt either idk what to dooo

so i have sterile saline spray for my septum. can i just spray it into a cup and do a soak then? cus for the last few days ive been using a q tip and i kinda wanna stop using one
@@disintigrarion you can just spray the saline spray directly on your septum. There is no need to use a q-tip, and if you use the saline spray you do not need to do a soak
@@bodyartforms can we use normal salt which is using in kitchen?
i got my seconds done on march 10th and one of my piercings are healing good but the other still bleeds and get a little swollen if i tug at it. is this normal and how long should i continue cleaning it for??
@PerfectlyPressedPrincess-xy5vk if you are having any issues with healing go see your piercer. You will continue cleaning it twice a day with saline spray until it is healed
How long can i store the diy solution for?
A week
I put mine into a small spray bottle & used it throughout the healing procees. I have done this for several piercings & they all healed up rather quickly. Just spray it onto the piercing & dry anything the spray might of hit other than the piercing. It works great & is much easier to do it this way....
Hey @@latachia_2981 did you air dry or you dried it yourself? And could bacteria build up behind the piercing if it's still soak with salt water?
I put it into a very small spray bottle & sprayed it. If it got on my neck or whatever, then I dried those areas off.( I used a ckean tissue to dry , therefore it's sterle. I just let the ears (piercings) air dry. My ears never got sore. You could a fresh clean tissue on the piercing if it got too wet, but blot, don't rub)@@saniinacho8878
After you rinse your mouth with salt water do you wash it out with water?
@mariah6782 you don't have to but you can
Good instructions

Man, I have an eyebrow pierced for 4 days and it's bleeding for a second time. Can I rinse it with this recipe?
@@khatom5656 if your piercing is still bleeding I would go see your piercer or a medical professional for advice
@@bodyartforms No, I think I've irritated it. It's a small doze of blood, it's not bleeding for the whole day. I was told it's normal for the first few days. If it's gonna continue, I'll contact my piercer.
Thank you.
Do you need to clean the inside of a nose piercing
@courtneyalcala3453 you will want to clean both the inside and outside of a nose piercing
Does this work on a dermal piercings, its on my face
@@IsaacSanchez-u3d Salt water can help piercings, but using saline solution spray formulated for wound care is recommended because it is sterile. It may be easier to use the spray for a facial dermal as well.
My helix got swollen, with pus and very painful. What should I do?
I would recommed going to see your Doctor if you have a inffection
Can j use Himalayan salt?
@@user-yr9gn7mi6m you can, however, I would ask your piercer for their recommendation as they are the expert
If I’m stretching my lobe? Should I put it on with the jojoba oil? I’ll put it into a spray bottle, but if I should put it on with the oil, should I do it before or after? And before or after the stretch?
