There is no Chopin, no Zimerman, just the music existing by itself in its only possible state. Like a fire that cannot burn “incorrectly”, or rain that cannot fall “imperfectly”, these waltzes are just there, happening. They cannot possibly be improved or different. We can listen to them like we watch rain or fire. They are a constant of nature. They are our life, now, in the moment, passing by. This is music at the highest level.
It's too fast playing. In my opinion a few others are too fast too. Unfortunately performing classical piano music is nowadays often more about showing off technique and speed than about actual music. I call it Formula 1 playing. I wonder when will the pianists start to spray champagne on the audience after they have ended their performance...
@@MrHullU You mean this recording has been released digitally? Do you have the exact reference of the CD? I already own the LP, but vinyl transfers often sound crappy.
Had to remove the original video because of audio issues. The audio quality has improved but it still seems to lose detail even after fixing. Enjoy :)
Gracias!
This is a great find, made my night . Appreciate you
Una bella velada musical nos la proporciona Chopin.
I love Zimerman's interpretations 🌿✨️
me too he is best I think
Chopin and Zimerman means huge win

You haven’t heard me play; believe me, the fire can definitely burn incorrectly!😊
This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read. As well as the most truthful. Bravo.
Genial comentario.
That little passage at 3:09 is so beautiful :o

best version Zimmeman keeps the even beat and still esppressive at same time. Yea I love it.
Good,better,the best ... Zimerman!!!🎼👍👏
my toxic trait is watching these and telling myself "yeah I could play that."
You can if you study :)
Hah I did that in my head. Then I got to Op 69 no. 1 and I was like, "Wait, I actually play that".
40:18 That variant sure made my ears perk up.
Incredible!! Thank you so much for posting this genius writing and genius playing. WOW!!!!!

no 4 is too fast or is it the recording techniques

Where did you find Zimermans recording of those? He never published any of these
This one was really hard to find. The recording was included in a cd set released in Japan.
@@MrHullU You mean this recording has been released digitally? Do you have the exact reference of the CD?
I already own the LP, but vinyl transfers often sound crappy.
@MisterPathetique Yes, it was apparently released digitally in a box set, but never as its own individual album. I don't have the cd unfortunately :(
@@MrHullU So where did you find the audio for this video? Because it sounds really good.
@@MisterPathetique i requested the audio from a guy who owns the cd ;)

Hmmm Zimerman played too gently. It should have been more vigorously.
A waltz shouldn't really be vigorous, it's a dance
Is this a sarscam?
@MacMaky1981 No I'm serious. He played like a Ballade.
@@mustwatchrare this is waltz man, it sounds unpleasant when playing waltz vigorously
@MacMaky1981 'vigorous' means 'energetic+bright'
Boring interpretation
Why?
