To me he is a person who played Frank castle/Punisher very excellent, Thomas Jane was the first punisher but John took it to a whole other level, 20x better.
Marvel Studios should get John Bernthal as the Punisher for the big screen, thats just my opinion.

I find it pretty neat how after Hawkeye loses his family in Endgame, he basically becomes the Punisher himself. You have to wonder if him and Frank teamed up to do some house cleaning.

Man, I feel obliged to leave a comment. Can't stop watching this. You've captured in under 3 minutes the soul of the character (which Jon depicts masterfully, truly, chills down viewer's spine), and used this track. Not the theme, not any other music, but this one - the one that plays when billy lets frank loose - the one that plays when Lewis is being stabbed 14 times in the chest - but hearing it I don't see death and destruction, only pain and loss Frank carries. Great choice, great edit. Keep em' coming.

Great editing. The song really hits you hard because this is played when Frank makes a choice wether he lives to revenge his family, or dies to be at peace. This is the true essence of him.
I really love him as a character and Jon is an excellent actor portraying him. I could not be more glad to watch this video.

Holy shoot mate (pun intended) this was amazingly done! It’s really cool how well you intertwined the music with all the sequences seamlessly. It’s strange because that instrumental piece was only used in one scene, but, thanks to how you edited everything together, I now consider it to be a piece that defines his entire character. Mad props man, mad props.

I think one thing I found to be really cool is that apparently, many of the militiamen fighting ISIS in Iraq would actually put the Punisher's skull logo on their vests and uniforms and some of them would even wear skull masks into battle. And I imagine many of them probably lost family to ISIS and are were also looking for payback.
That is the really badass thing about the Punisher. Out of all the superheroes, he's the one that we know is likely to exist in the world.

I love this show! John put so much emotion into his words, even without doing much sometimes. It could even just be a neutral facial expression and you could tell, his rage filled his veins and vengeance filled his weapons. This show was amazing from the start for me since he killed and showed no mercy and didn’t feel bad because what happened to him made him not care anymore. I love it and hope to see more soon, even if it’s gone, hell I just might go rewatch it

More people than you know, it's just a damn shame not more people take this actual technique into consideration, cause a lot of edits I see they just get music and slap video on there with no effort at all. This is gonna sound cocky but it's a fairly basic technique, whats hard is making sure you have the right scenes and quotes to make those parts of the tribute actually mean something, once you have that it's gold and this video, this is exactly that.

Awesome for including the sledgehammer and most of the savage growl yells that each time Bernthal added that magic, it made that scene so visceral.

i think i watched this video atleast 50 times, it just makes you feel so much better. Too see how Frank takes matters into his own hands despite how angry or sad he feels he stands up and does what he has too, in a very fucked up way this is good motivation to do something against your problems now doesn't mean you should go buy a gun and shoot your problems in the face but.... still instead of staying down and letting your emotions get in the way, they should motivate you to get up and do what you need too.

Trey Budreau he was but I like how they dove deeper into his character. I think the metaphor of DD is he was fighting a war in his show he was ending the war. Hence the last words he said on the season finale

ayy thats a good point! i like the myth and the man comparison, really good way to throw it into perspective. he was for sure more personable in his show but that was expected i guess considering we're learning more about his past and family and just him in general. he definitely had his "mythical" moments in the Punisher like in the woods and in Lieberman's basement which were just so badass to watch hahah
I think Daredevil’s writers are slightly better than Punisher’s, also his look (make up, facial hair and hair) was better and i don’t know how to say it correctly, i don’t speak english very well, but lightning?? You may know what i mean, like how his face was most of the time in dark, i loved that
