If there can be such a thing as "beautifully violent" Jon Bernthal as Frank is the embodiment of it. It's amazing to me how mesmerizing he is in this role.
ray Stevenson did it better. Bernthal was only good in the start of season 1 and daredevil

I think when Castle and Daredevil were arguing on the roof it was a perfect display of the characters, the display of Castle doing what needs to be done showing that he is the anti hero going through life helping but doing it in a way that he understands best, and Daredevil doing it in a way he believes is best, believing that there is still good in people so he doesn't kill them, showing the perfect display of two different types of hero's.

the thing I love about Punisher is how he really ISNT crazy. He's just given up his mind, his soul and heart for the cause. He isn't confused he understand what he does is wrong and knows he'll end up in hell. But due to his existence and his suffering lots of people will be able to sleep safe.
Dude, in 10 years of watching TH-cam videos, this must be the first time my jaw literally dropped over an edit. Every moment was in sync with the music, slowly making me more and more aware that this wasn't just a song over clips but a purposely edited piece of art, with each bar changing concepts, each bar capturing my attention even more than the last, taking me along the ride to the masterfully edited "ra-ra-rasputin" moment when each gun shoot was in sync with the music, that moment right there made my jaw drop, and when I thought it was over that last axe, syncing not only at the hit but also at the throw, it was awesome. Thank you.
The Punisher, a character that is often misunderstood, he is not the embodiment of what is right or what should be done, he is the embodiment of what happens when someone abandons all their humanity in order to achieve revenge, becoming a killing machine in the name of justice, but in reality, the only thing he wants is to inflict pain on the ones that wronged him, like the name, he punishes.
To be clear, Marvel TV and ABC own the punisher character. After 2015, Daredevil S2 massive hit they decided to spin off the castle character with own show.
Netflix ordered and his executive joined as producer to create this show in own style. Character rights given to Netflix for making the show. Then Punisher S3 cancelled it to get back with marvel rights and Disney merged with marvel to fo disney + .
So please stop saying disney created this show. Netflix made it and nailed it in every way. Disney trashed a lot of superheroes tv series in recent time.
Disney makes political agenda movies instead of good writing movies. Punisher is one of my fav show and i got pretty upset when ut cancelled. For a man, you can pretty well relate to his characters alter ego. Disney recent flicks can't even entertain for secs and they become garbage.
No-one could've played Frank Castle better than John Bernthal.

Honestly one of the best action shows ever made imo up there with The Boys even. I can say with confidence I love this show just as much as The Boys(considering I've watched it twice too lol)

This Punisher by Jon, Daredevil by Charlie where exceptional master pieces. These amazing actors... they embodied the characters in such a beautiful artistic way, that it's astonishing. Especially if you grew up reading the comics.

I have seen recently the serie and I think that Jok Bernhthal is the perfect actor for this. His ability with combact skills and the personal drama for what the charachter went trough made me empatize for him. This is a so underrated serie😢😢😢

I have seen many edits of the punisher scenes but this is easily the best one I have seen so far
I'm honestly sad we won't see interactions with hulk and wolverine, or punisher and captain America in the mcu. Like, the actors put so much into their roles ( Evens and Bernthal) that seeing them have the same convo their characters had in the comics were punisher had to kill cap would have been an amazing seen.
Just started rewatching the walking dead and forgot just how great of an actor Bernthal is. I'd love to see him come back in the daredevil show. Or maybe that blade team show that's been talked about.

Only Punisher Comic series I read was Garth Ennis's run with Marvel Max. Best Punisher series is Up is Down, Black is White. Jon Bernthal is the Punisher. I think what would have made this series slightly better is to have the Monologues Frank has with himself in the comics. I wish they did Up is down, Black is White for the series though. A really great comic series.

Castle makes sure the twisted, the corrupt, and the unredeemable pay for their crimes and keeps them in the dirt to make sure they never come back up.....he is the judge, jury, and executioner to the wicked.

Sheesh. the way you matched weapon racking and different hits and punches and subtle sounds to the chords and the chorus. Just the way you perfectly conveyed each scene used with the lyrics of the song. No less than a perfect example of an excellent eye for detail and more so someone who truly felt the plot of the show and the lyrics of the song. My hat is off to you. Violence so beautiful it's become an art. I love the truth in Jon's portrayal of the Punisher. The character knows he's not a good man. He's an attack dog. At the same time a Ronin. Daredevil is egotistical and self righteous. Seems himself as greater than everybody else but really won't stand apart. The punisher is an anvenging angel with rath against the true evil doers and excepts his own sins.
OMG I will never forget the time at the factory. Jon was surrounded by bloody darkness, for normal people would not rise again but Jon as A punisher rose and paralyzed everything.. You guys are no match for me🔥
