The Daredevil/ Punisher series on Netflix was absolute perfection. Disney will never recreate this no matter how hard they try. This was art in it's highest form and it touched us in a way nothing ever else will. Things could be worked out where Netflix could do this again but I don't think it will ever happen. I believe this is gone forever and that's a shame because this was what we all needed. RIP Daredevil/Punisher you will be missed forever.

He acted the shit out of this role, top 10 television series ever.

@@brennanhearn6342 it's true and deep down Matt knows it too. Because if he finds a reason to justify killing he will always find another reason to justify it again and again. Frank knows this and deep down, Frank didn't want Matt to become like him.

Aside from how goofy it is.
Warzone had some real moments
Thomas Jane did a lot better job, his version was more calm and collected, more like a stone cold soldier. Bernthal's version was more like a wild animal. Both good versions, but Jane's was A LOT better.
The Netflix series was a great motivational and healing process for me. As a former Marine I could relate to the pain and as father of three children it has kept mentally strong to not taking my life due to separation from them.

Jon Bernthal did such a good job on portraying Frank Castle. Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio and him are the best actors IMO.
Nobody could play frank better.
Got me in tears. Punisher has been one of the things that kept me going. A distraction. So much hurt was a distraction. Amazingly done.
People who think like Frank are the real heroes. You do what you have to do, no matter the cost, the pain. A hero puts himself last.

This show is so fucking underrated. So many memorable moments from both seasons. Didn't really feel like anyone else was able to really portray the sadness and misery surrounding the Punisher. Jon Bernthal nailed his performance. Hands down one of the best actors of the past 10 to 15 years.
Daredevil and Punished had such great acting!!!!! Perfect casting. Great video.

Something about watching a "lifeless" man makes me feel not so bitter inside. To know I'm not the only one feeling this way is comforting. Even if it is fake, it's an art that is so closely portrayed in the job Jon Bernthal does for him.

Both Punisher and Daredevil were standout series' for me. And then we got them together in Defenders and it was like Christmas come early. The conflict - and similarity - between these two characters was refreshing to see. But I don't have Disney+ so this is where it ends for me... :o(

That’s alternate timeline Frank who didn’t go to military, but instead went small town police, before the outbreak.
I fucking love the build up from the beginning till the end and while listening to the dialogues/quotes along the way. It makes you truly feel like you are the main character and what they are going through if you just listen, imagine and connect with the tribute and the main character really well. ❤
And well fucking done btw! 👏 I’m definitely adding this one to my "The Way Tributes Playlist"

David Dunn and Garcia Flynn are forever my favorite superheros who saved the world
Damn how much impact can a friend like Micro have on your life when you are all alone in this! The most fascinating characters that Stan Lee put a soul on are Murdock and Castle! Losing everything you have yet having the guts to continue live while you constantly wake up with PTSD where your bones ache been in there with losing my father at 12 and losing everything in front of my eyes. Castle is just so motivating turning that into fighting crime it's the only character that keeps me going. People have no clue how comics can change lives and impact lives. If you can connect all those pieces together. Murdock on the other hand is my idol he is so much more, losing everything being blind but yet thwt empathic to see more that eyes can see and sense everything. It just describes the clear character of an empath, all alone in this pushing both Foggy and Karen away, hurt hopeless yet never crosses that line that Frank fall in it, absorbs so much damage leaves every limb that he carries yet never changes, controls that anger no matter the scum that affects us on our daily lives having that ability to still believe in hope and redemption is just the next way. Stan was a mastermind to put this two together almost in the same positions and compare one that he has the recipe of society that he got so impacted by scum he had to change while the other still fights his anger yet keeps it together. Frank solves everything but he has already lost it character wise his soul got corrupted and changed while Matt is not. It's comparing an empath and calling it a devil with a guy who is the real devil as frank. Both of strong man with different indentions with different ideals, one of the end product of pain and society the other one no matter how much he suffers he never falls to that. Murdock yet believes in redemption has that courage that people can change, they deserve another chance he is the most fascinating soul wise and character wise comic book character that i have ever witnessed. I hold a PhD in psychology in personality disorders i am a top writer on Quora on Personality Disorders and victims going through their toxicity and break up how the damages we carry they allowed the change us shape us or you find the guts no matter what the world how much it breaks you u just never change that's what i call strong in comparasion of castle allowing himself to be the end product of trauma and society. Only someone who carries a really deep soul, feels and intellect and a really deep emotional empathy would understand what i mean. If people, producers had Stan's depth they would understand me. Protecting that empathy genuine levels of your character in a world that tries to break you and shape you a broken society with all those traumas yet having the ability to hope belive as Murdock does is just fascinating. The the battle that goes on every each one of us doubting God on daily basis yet believing in him while we blame him and notice that it's the right path. It's just a work of art and craft, murdock is just fascinating. But at the end of the day one person can change our lives no matter how alone we are like castle told karen if you find them u hold on tight to them. Karen never giving up on Murdock and Foggy no matter how much he pushes them alone, noticing his purity and depth no matter what makes those two both more fascinating. In a society that love does not exist the strong pray on weak, where it all shaped to personal iterests and what people can learn from people, how can they feed on peoples esteems to feel good about themselves because the trauma shows how weak we are as human beings. As sister Maggie said"When people in need try to push u away, u gotta find the strength to hold on tighter to them"To Karen. It really gives hope to people that understanding, love a bunch of special individuals like that exist. It's just breathetaking on a psychologists level to absorb all these logic em and gives me hope to keep going being also a human being in top of that a husband, it just takes one person to change and shape your life if you find those people they will change everything you will understand that you were never alone to begin with. Because they will be the spark not only to change your life but keep you eternally happy, no matter how difficult the things go the people that really love u they will understand and they will be in there no matter how many scars you will get with em they will stick to your last breath because they genuinely love you like you do. The people that are meant to be in there they will work no matter what has caused because they feel that deeply that its what it beats on their soul heart and chest they will understand it. Amor Vincit Omnia-Love conquers everything, Familia Supra Omnia- Family unity conquers everything and Family over everything only those people who love u limitlessly will get what i mean and In Omnia paratus always ready to give each and everything they have for family and love.
Love is limitless it requires no logic but what beats inside you dicates everything, if you love you will never give up its an eternal bound of a soul promise u will try and try and try until your last breathe because what beats inside is a manifestation to the outside. So thats the fortune of love only whoever loves deeply would understans this. They would chose always to be in there talk and work the things out, whoever bails they never loved you. It just takes one person one soul to find everything im them

Frank is a hero to me. Daredevil couldn't do what he does if it wasn't for fictional traits. There are people with the skillset who can be Frank Castle. I wish I could. There are some wicked people who deserve to snuffed. Have you ever met a psychopath? Frank isn't a psychopath, he does what has to be done so that evil doesnt prevail.

There is no other pain like the loss of a loved one, it will turn a good man into a monster, for monsters like these death is welcomed, you are never the same after losing someone whom you would die for, there is no cure for this type of overwhelming pain, it’s when you think of them hear them see them smell them that the pain becomes unbearable, so what this world of no value no moral no respect doesn’t understand is that these monsters are amongst us, you know how I know because you who are reading this and you who is commenting on this have and will lose somebody then you will know what true pain is, let’s hope you don’t become a monster like us

It's a weird speech imo you don't have to remind Frank he's going to die I think he would welcome death anyway that doesn't make him suicidal he just has no cause to enjoy living anymore and his work is kill the enemy so he just does his work everyday and waits for his life to end. It's pretty simple. He's permanently traumatized he will never be the same again people don't just recover from everything. He seems like a really misunderstood character imo. So many cliches in life such as you reap what you sow that are just untrue sometimes the locusts come and destroy your crops that you toiled for and then people starve or die and you bear the guilt though it's not your fault natural disasters man made disasters some people are just in survival mode they don't really "live".
I have 4 herniated disks in my spine. Without heavy pain medication i am in constant pain. The VA in its wisdom will not give out pain medication anymore. Some month i have to choose between my house payment and going to the pain clinic out of my own pocket. When i cant pay for it i can only sleep about 2 hours at a time and i have to more around sometimes less sometimes i dont even get to sleep not really. On days like that I wish that i would just not wake up. I wont ever kill myself i dont think i can do that i dont know why i cant but i just cant. But I wish that it would just end sometimes.

The absolute truth is that as useful as the Punisher may be, he is truly broken like "DareDevil" said. He's seen too much, done too much, and witnessed too much to come back from the hell he keeps himself in. Is it useful for the real world? totally...but is it moral? no, and imo shoudlnt be looked up to as a hero, which is how i think the creators wanted him to be looked at. Frank Castle/The Punisher is effectively the Grim Reaper. You dont want to look at death as something that should be admired but understood as a point of inevitability.
As a Punisher fan my whole life, I'm happy other people truly get the point of Frank. He's a tragic man, not a role model.

The punisher was perfectly cast,... voice, robustness, grit. And the pain and anger he can portray was just purr extasy. It sad to see such a great show finish. But I'm glad I was able to watch it. Marvel has a huge future with dark antiheros and not so kids friendly content, I hope they pursue that instead of woke mainstream media,.. that killed the MCU.

When i broke up with my gf 1 week before getting married with her. Many mornings or during night i wold wake up like that, thats getting smashed by reality over and over falling in despair and sorrow over and over... Imagine how someone in his case can feel, the pain the rage dhe despair.
I felt totally grey those days , fearless numb wold feel nothing , people wold say stuff that i find them very funny now but those days i was thinking to myself , whats funny about that , totally uninteresting , totally pointless , life was pointless...i understand the punisher a bit , and thus guys plays it perfectly well how a person in his case might feel wich is 100 times more worse then how i felt.
Think yourself lucky, you should try being in my shoes by not being good enough to get a gf in the first place. But then who gives a sh*t huh.
