Who else is loving this little series of Jamie cooking at his own restaurant!? I’m from California and I would love to fly to England and go to this restaurant!!!!! We don’t have fresh things like this in El Centro!
Min kim how come? I’ve been following Jamie Oliver since high school and I cooked up some of his recipes including something like this before and they’re delicious! But how come you wouldn’t recommend it?
It's 5 pm here I decided to make this but I live very far from sea so I didn't get hold of any of the ingredients so I substituted everything with the ingredients available..... the only ingredients available........ white wine. Now I am a lil drunk.
Every time I went to Jamies italian I was having the seafood linguine, absolutely delicious. Shame they closed down in Manchester but thanks for the recipe I will try doing this at home
mimoocho dom ehhh this dish would cost over a tenner to make a few portions at home and they're probably going to sell one portion for close to 15 in the restaurant so yes it is going to cost quite a bit of money.
RMK I know what you mean but there are work arounds. The base flavours are already there and are cheap. Instead of seafood that can be costly, some tinned crab meat, tuna or shrimp will work just fine. Steaming a portion of salmon or inexpensive fish and running it through is also an option. What Jamie sells it for is his business. He's got staff to pay, rent, overheads etc. In fact I don't know how he makes a profit.
mimoocho dom yeah you could do that but it wouldn't be the same dish. Your sorta back tracking on your comment. Oh he definitely makes a profit. Been to his restaurants and he over charges for what you get.
I made this and it turned out amazing. One thing I changed was I used harrisa instead of the Calabrian chili paste and here’s a big one that you all should add. I used wine steeped with saffron threads. That saffron flavor brings it to the next level.
Just made this for my wife and I during Valentine’s Day couldn’t find any squid but everything else was findable easily. man this is a wonderful day especially with homemade pasta
Ive never tried egg pasta with sea food 😲 as italian it scares me a little and excites me a lot 🤣 one day I’ll eat at your restaurant, love your work! U always tribute Italian cousine ❤️🇮🇹
One's a shiny outer surface, and another's matte. In fact if you look at the very beginning of the video, you'd find a matte one on the stove, and the shiny one off to the left of the same table. =)
Ok, yeah. The pan changed before he even starts cooking. Looks like the matte one was moved over to the right on the other side of the island to cook something else. So what? Editing is necessary in cooking videos so you don't have to wait for stuff to heat up, etc.
No anger from me, it's a TH-cam video. :) I thought you were calling him out on pretending it was one take as a way to pull the wool over our eyes, but reading your comments back, I see that's not what you were saying. I apologise.
The recipe of the most delicious sandwich in Russia: white bread spread with a mixture of grated cheese, garlic and mayonnaise to put a piece of sausage or ham to put a slice of tomato sprinkled with chopped green onion and dill.
Just finished a plate!!sooo good with fresh seafoods I put mussels instead of sqid I love every ingredient actually it was the first time I tried capers taste a bit like salted cabbage hhh
Jamie, I have shrimp and squid problems. If I put lemonade, it ll taste like full lemonade, if I dont, then it ll smell and taste like raw seafood. Any tip? Also for all frying, please tell us the right flame and oil temperature. I always have problems with this. Argh. Love from Indonesia. :) ❤
Jamie I love you as much as this recipe which I learnt from you like yearssss back watching Channel4 or something. Was kinda hope you do some more of other stuffs with different and unconventional (but easy to find) but still easy to cook pasta like this one!
Viewer notice: folks if you have dietary/religious restrictions, you can buy red or white wine NO alcohol, use same ratio as recipe and you can drink it, do not buy cooking wine
You can just see his excitement as he cooks. Love it!
Jamie is best chef less ingredients and less time….love his recipies

This guy's a genius. Simple things that don't cost the Earth and Big on flavour.

Love it! Also, love the editing to look like it's one take but once you notice the change in frying pan, you cannot unsee it haha.
Looks the same to me.

I'm amazed with Italian foods that are creamy without the use of cream or flour. They do something that makes it creamy.
The chili sauce made it creamy
