Mesen v0.9.9 (NES Emulator) - The Famiclone Experience

Here's a demonstration of one of the 'not recommended' (as the dev. puts it) features that swaps the duty cycles that would mimic the APU's behavior of old Famiclones. They're basically clones of the Famicom that were manufactured mostly in Russia or China. With the 'Dendy' region added, you can (virtually) have your own hunk of plastic bootleg console at the comfort of your PC! :P

Just found out that Sour won't develop Mesen and the SNES counterpart any further, so they will have to be forked or something. I hope that there will be a fork of at least Mesen in the near future: www.reddit.com/r/emulation/comments/j58hfu/mesen_and_mesens_github_repositories_are_now/g7sti7q/

If you change the filter to NTSC and change some saturation and brightness settings then it will be the full famiclone experience

Unless your famiclone is SECAM. Then again, only the first Dendy Classic was SECAM, and it didn't exhibit the bug to my knowledge.
