I think the difference between the “Lisa” immigration situation and the “Kimbaaaly” immigration situation is that Usman and Lisa got married in Nigeria on her first visit so when she applied for his Visa is was a “marriage Visa” which would have given him green card status much faster. The rules for a K1 Visa, aka “Fiancé Visa” are totally different. Wow, did he actually just say on world wide TV that he was going to “beat the system”? US Immigrations is going to LOVE that!! THAT right there might have been his undoing. He’ll NEVER get a Visa now.
