There are hundreds of ways you can pipe a buttercream rose, and everyone has their own ideas of what a perfect rose should look like. I've done it several different ways here on my channel, but this is my idea of the perfect, most delicate buttercream rose. Hope you find this useful!

My god, you cannot get any closer to the real thing, that looks incredible! Wow. Fantastic job. I don't understand how 31 people can thumbs down a video like this? Possibly they cannot get it to look like a real rose like you did.

I'm beginning to think there are just some people out there who are miserable and impossible to please, instead of doing something good themselves they feel the need to bring others down. if so that's their problem!
Fancy Favours & Edible Art really that is your best answer? How about maybe they looked for a tutorial with more explanations? while for people who know how to make use of pipes etc can understand it this tutorial is not one for beginners at all.

Fancy Favours & Edible Art You know something you're so right, why don't people bite their pride and make a tutorial themselves instead of criticizing others. If something is "lacking " then by all means they need to make a video showing how to make a rose or something else. But you know they won't.
people don't realise the skill and patient and PRACTICE required to perfect cake/flower work. (or the cost of the material etc). others do realise and they're just plain jealous!

For those of you who don’t know: To transition the flower from the nail to the cake, you can use scissors and snip the base of the flower to pick it up, and then set it on the cake and open the scissors.
