Been doing icing for 40 years and never bothered with buttercream flowers. Your rose is beautiful. Going to try it even if I have to put it in the freezer for later use. Thank u, they are stunning 😍❤️
Your flowers are beautiful, and I like the way you create them slowly while explaining how to do it. I am a beginner, and this gave me many pointers to correct the problem I am having with roses. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I am a new subscriber.
Ahh now I see what I was doing wrong. My roses were coming out flat. And I was struggling with the first bud. I wasn't anchoring it to the cupcake, so it wouldn't let go of the nozzle. Other vids don't explain that. And you are doing an arc on every petal which gives the petals more depth. Thank you. Your flowers are beautiful
WOW!!!😍 I just love this rose. Thanks for sharing. They would also be beautiful if you did 3 colors in one bag and put them all together. But, I still love this.
Love the tutorial. You may want to put your icing bag into a glass, fold the bag over the edge of the glass, to fill your bag with icing. Makes it a lot easier.
Beautiful! And the precious little noises in the background were noises I'd forgotten! My youngest is in the last year of the same elementary school I went to as a child so he makes much different sounds at his age, so thank you for that too! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
This was a really helpful tutorial. The way you described the nuances of what you were doing with your hand is going to make it easier for me. Thank you so much
I've always wondered how they got the roses to look like that and now I know. Thank you so much for this tutorial. Now I'm about to subscribe and go binge watch all your videos. Love from Jamaica

Hello mam I am very impressed to you can you tell me you used witch cream and how to whipped it plz because when I whipped cream it's liquidy tel me how to whipped
Thanks! I usually buy a box of Craft Edibles piping bags on Amazon but I saw they’re out of stock so I’d buy a box of Wiltons. I usually get a brand that’s going to offer a sturdy piping bag and not a flimsy one that’s going to split as soon as you start piping. I also like a larger bag than the 12 inch when piping on cupcakes so here’s a link to some Wilton’s 16 inch amzn.to/3jIBgwQ
If you live in the US and in the Midwest, you can get absolutely EVERYTHING that you need that has to do with baking and cake decorating! I refuse to buy from Amazon because they are ripping us off by NOT paying taxes (but I'll bet they charged you tax!). I recall a year when they made 22 billion (with a B) and paid not one dime in taxes! I never but from them if I can help it!
I have not tried this with cream cheese icing. I’d have to play around with it a bit. If it’s a bit soft, I would put it in the fridge for a little bit so that the petals would be stiff but not so long that you wouldn’t be able to squeeze it from a piping bag.
The narrow end, the smallest point is always the outer petal so you want to start with that up and slowly bring it towards you with each layer of petals.
I used my high ratio shortening buttercream for this and that is naturally very white. If you use regular American Buttercream then I add a tiny drop of violet gel food coloring to cancel out the yellow of the butter and make it white. This is the buttercream recipe I used for these roses. I add a couple extra cups of confectioners sugar to thicken even more for well defined petals th-cam.com/video/aiutyacPm6k/w-d-xo.html
IF you need to refill your piping bag, do you just add more white buttercream or do you also have to add more purple coloring? do you recommend using the same bag or do you need a fresh one everytime?
I think whichever way you find it easier to get your frosting in the bag. I find this method really quick so I do it pretty often. If I have several colors I’ll spread it in plastic wrap first and then place it in the bag.
Hello Becky, I would like to know if you give lessons at home? I am in France and my wife and I are ready to come to England, is this possible? We will obviously pay. Thanks you❤❤
Hello I have each ur video I’m so interested in how u do things I’m teaching myself how to be more perfect and decorating cakes cupcakes and cookies I’m looking for the recipe for your icing buttercream
I used the number 127 piping tip for this rose. I also use the 124, 124k, 125, & 126 piping tips if I want more petals. The smaller the petal tip, the more petals you can to your rose.
My apologies. I thought I put it in the details. Thank you for bringing it to my attention so I could remedy that. I’ll post it here as well th-cam.com/video/aiutyacPm6k/w-d-xo.html

Is the smallest point up or down as you pipe the rose?
The narrow end, the smallest point is always the outer petal so you want to start with that up and slowly bring it towards you with each layer of petals.
Wonderful! What brand of white gel color did you use? Americolor? Thank you.
I do use Americolor gel food coloring but I didn’t need any white gel food coloring for this.
Очень красивые розы вы сделали❤
IF you need to refill your piping bag, do you just add more white buttercream or do you also have to add more purple coloring? do you recommend using the same bag or do you need a fresh one everytime?
I use the same bag. I just reapply the coloring and then fill again.
Pls show with normal whipping cream roses in your video

Couldn't you pipe in the frosting into the bag to helping with out messing up the die
I think whichever way you find it easier to get your frosting in the bag. I find this method really quick so I do it pretty often. If I have several colors I’ll spread it in plastic wrap first and then place it in the bag.
