I have had the Competition model for over a year, great and reliable shooter. Picked up the Compact a month ago, shoots like it’s big brother. I love both of them.
I just picked one of these up. My slide is clean and no machining marks. The slide is a little wobbly on the frame. Super easy gun to clean. I put a Holosun 407k on it. The gun is accurate and stupid fun to shoot. I ran 400 rounds through it right away and I had no malfunctions.

My gun came with a none centered barrel (sits very low) so any suppressor added cause drag on the slide (wear marks and malfunctions). Sent back to Taurus, they put 26 round through it none suppressed (knowing already that it functioned with no suppressor, and that it only had issues when suppressed). I called after receiving the pistol back and was told that if it functions without a suppressor, they don’t care and will not be fixing anything. I had high hopes that Taurus was starting to turn around from the terrible company they’ve known to be in the past, unfortunately they are still the same company.
I just added a swampfox sentinel and didn't know taller fixed sights were available. I believe you said the Tx22c was glock cut, does this mean any of the ameriglo glock specific sights will fit?

I can put from 15 yards in 3 seconds 7-8 hadshots using my tx22 compact. Can't do that with any same weight 9mm compact handguns due to high recoil when doing speed shooting. Maybe 2 headsots in 3 sec from micro 9mm (vs 7-9 of 22lr in 3sec). Speed and accuracy beats bigger caliber with slower speed to do follow up shots and less accuracy. Reliability is spot on in 4 hiccup only after shooting 1500 rounds. I'm confident I can do more damage with tx22 compact than with sig p365 / gx4 /hellcat just because how fast you can shoot tx22 with accurate follow up shots with 0 recoil vs micro 9

I kinda see what you mean but snag points are most important when you carry I would think. I probably would pick a different carry option but if you do carry this then yeah you’re right!

What type of optic cut?
It comes with several adapter plates or at least mine did. I’m not sure if they still do but they are available to basically mount anything you want
