- This is the Most RIDICULOUS Challenge in Football Manager 2024: The Ross County Challenge. I have to try and win the Scottish Premiership with the club, but I can only sign players with Ross in their name. This FM24 challenge seems ALMOST impossible as we look to rebuild Ross County to beat Celtic and Rangers in Scotland.

Ross switches the ball to Ross, who controls it brilliantly. He takes on his man, and Ross whips(cRosses) in a ball towards Ross at the front post, but it goes over Ross, lands on the head of Ross behind him, who sets it down to Ross who hits it first time, but ends up hitting his own player, Ross, before trickling out for a goal kick, despite the best efforts of Ross. Ross is fuming(cRoss) at the team missing this opportunity to score, and Ross Ross has to break Ross and Ross apart in a game of handbags.
A Ross County rebuild only allowing the name Ross? We will be there

Also fun fact. Ross Countys stadium at the start of the game already has a capacity which is greater than the population of where Ross County is (Dingwall)!
I completed a similar challenge with Man City where every player on the team had to be a man.
Turns out it wasn't that difficult.

would be cool if you did a save for AZ where ur team has to have names starting with A all the way to Z. Only 1 player per letter and if 1 leaves they have to be replaced.

Ross County getting a 16,000 seater stadium would be insane, considering their home town of Dingwall (the most Australian name for a place ever) is more than three times smaller than it.
The reason it sounds Australian is because a lot of Australian names came from Scottish settlers.
nah dingwall has about 6,000-7,000 folk now, though a lot of our support comes from conon, maryburgh, tain, alness and invergordon

I think names like Trossard should count for the next challenge. Makes it less of a judgement call for you, and then you get to be creative with the players you find.
Incredible effort. Next challenge, similar vein, play as Keith FC and, as you've guessed it, all players have to be called Keith.
Great video! Jordan Rossiter was one of my best players in Football manager 2016 when I was managing Sheffield Wednesday. He became a premiership star player and and an england international lol. By then I was already at Derby County though after they sacked me. I got back at them later when I promoted. Still one of my favourite saves. I really miss the simplicity of the older FM games. The new games feel like actual work almost.

What is it with Ross County and having goalies called Ross lmao. Ross Laidlaw, Ross Munro and now Logan Ross
You need to rebuild my local team Odense BK. About 10-20 years ago, they were a top 4 team in Denmark, but in the last 10 years, they have only reached the top 6 once, and this season they have 0 wins at home.

When you said twist, I was expecting something along the lines of 'Scottish players only'. Only players named Ross was unexpected.

How do you go about scouting for this? I’m thinking of trying a ‘GO ON MY SON’ save, where everyone has to have ‘Son’ in their name, first or last name

Unterhaching should not be hard to pronounce, if you split it in silybls unter - HACH-ing (under - hACH-ing), it`s a suburb of Munich and played two seasons in the Bundesliga 1999-2001.
Please do same concept with IFK Göteborg and win domestic Leauge and only sign players named Glenn.
