- Today we take a look at everything to come out of the Gleaming Depths PTS update which is currently available to playtest over on the PTS!
We'll be taking a look at the new 4 star legendary effects, new weapons being added & a possible Tesla Cannon found in the files, a new suit of Power Armor coming with the Vault Raid mode & a new Text to Speech system coming to the game & MUCH MORE!!!

I'm glad I've stayed with this beautiful wacky game from the beginning, it always nice to see them update the game but this time they really pulled a wastelanders level update
Same here, this game has had its ups and downs but this is definitely a Wastelanders size of the update 😃

They’re completely rewriting the meta, which is a very good thing. The viable build possibilities will expand, and there are aspects that aren’t even being considered yet.
Heals may become equally important as damage, and protecting the absolute glass canon builds that would be otherwise useless. Having low health may become a serious concession if not running with ghoul healers that tank damage and rads for more power, equal or greater damage output to bloodied. Aristocrats will be meta?
To be honest, you hit the nail on the head!
I really feel that with this update that they’re trying to bring everything into line with each other to help create a more diverse build landscape, rather that just having one meta.
I’m sure that over time and testing, there will be some one build that will shine but I don’t think it’s going to be a case that it will be one build for everything, you will really need to use particular builds for specific scenarios and work as team which I’m totally here for 🤩🤩🤩
So does this make the equalizer enclave power armor skin a Canon skin???
That’s a great question 🤔 technically because it’s Atomic Shop, I personally wouldn’t refer to it as “Canon” but the equalizer power armor paint scheme was meant to be more of a call back to Frank Horrigans power armor so in a way it sort of is and sort of isn’t, but this suit of Armor, the Vulcan Power Armor puts that into question now because technically there would have had to been a suit of it already out there before it had of these ultracite nodes protruding out of it 🤔
On a side note, there’s a ton of enclave themed items related to this update that I’m going to be making a video on separately very soon and I feel that this could potentially be leading to an Enclave DLC in the future 👀 sooooooooo maybe we might get answers!!
That's exactly the question I was thinking, if so that means we can fully visualise what frank would've looked like in the f4 style change which is awesome
Now if they would only introduce upgrade for next generation consoles (and yes I play on console and pc) and also bring in crossplay and cross save. I have so much camp items on pc I want on console or vise versa.
The game needs either cross saving or crossplay so badly man 🙏

While you are on test server, could you take a NORMAL set Combat armor, and Test STEALTH with it with out Shadow mod, then add one piece at a time of SECRET AGENT (3-Star) legendary mod to it and see if having 1 or up to 4 which would be 100% Stealth will stack (Though it probly caps at 90% like most stuff) ... if it does this would negate having to use Covert and or Shadowed Mods on your armor, as well as be able to Add stealth to Secret Service armor !!!!!!!! Thxs
Conductors makes full health vats viable. No need for unyielding. That’s literally why it exists.
Every video I have seen covering this has glossed over the enemy buffs. I understand it’s a lot to cover but why call it a deep dive if you’re not going to deep dive?
The enemy changes will result in notably heavier damage from enemies that will now be using level 100 versions of grenades and player weaponry.
Yes, that’s going to hurt, and that coupled with the speed demon/empath correction is going to be felt and I hate how casually these points are being underestimated and mostly ignored.
I’m a solo player, so it’s not like the mutation changes affect me much, and I use over eaters power armor so I’m not worried about the damage increase from those enemies, but it’s weird not to hone in on it at least a little bit.

The unique Railway Rifle had me excited at first when I saw +25% critical hit chance thinking they will be adding critical hits out of vats but I don’t see anything else mentioning that so I assume it’s a typo.
conductors will be OP as HELL. You stay in vats forever. Also can you imagine if you put the affect on heavy guns such as gauss minigun or 50 cal. Can not wait.

To be honest, on paper it does look OP as hell and will probably preform that way too!
They can take the pest system and scrap it now. We have a taming system where we can go and wild creatures to have as pets at a camp. Why would anyone or myself be content or satisfied with just settling for a measly dog or cat. They should have added a pet vendor that specializes in dealing and trading wild animals. This idea they are implementing is just hot garbage! My idea is way better! Their new pet system doesn’t need to see the light of day!

Angry Turtle just tested Four Leaf Clover and it causes Crit hits every other shot. Combined with Conductor's and you have endless death.
For Backwoodsman 6, I'm pretty sure that means it's not going to affect the stat bonuses from food. It will ONLY increase healing from the food.

*it’s only going to be good for bloodied unyielding. The perks we had with our stat alottment were used to claim certain static bonuses. All these perks now scaling with stats will basically have it to where you get the old rank 1 if you’re not unyielding. This update will shoehorn everyone into aoe dot and bloodied unyielding like that isn’t already ruining the game.
I like the idea of adding new stars, but I don’t think basing them on damage is the way to go. Let’s be real. If every weap damage goes up, in time we get harder enemies to fight. So in the end they are giving us the exact same game we have right now, but with extra steps.. Would have been cool to see something that actually adds to the game, instead of tweaking pre existing stats.
When you look at it like that, that makes a lot of sense!

Wow that conductors 4 star effect is insanely op. Definitely gonna be nerfed before making it to live. It's not difficult to have your gun crit every other bullet. This effect in its current form will give crit commando builds infinite VATS and godmode.
Not just Commandos....but most any build or weapon. I mean why even have AP cost or health loss at all?

@@P3nAlPineapple It will probably end up giving something like +5 AP and health per critical hit. That way this effect would just extend the time you can be in VATS since most weapons would still have a net positive AP cost.
Wondering if these legendary mods will add another prefix to the weapon name, it would be cool to have weapons called "Conductor's Anti-armor Railway Rifle" or "Slayer's Bloodied Double-barrel Shotgun" for example.

i really want to get back playing but in ps5 is impossible to play for 15 minutes without crashing
to much content i didn't play cos i quit 1 Year ago and just last week i download the game again with new ps5 slim ànd same thing i crashed in 10 minutes and i deleted the game again
i have 2000 hours in this game but im just done with the stupid crashing
Yeah I completely understand why you'd feel that way and to be honest, if that was happening to me all the time, I'd probably do the same thing 😅
Hopefully they can address some of those issues with the next update and hopefully it might run a bit better for you 🙏

Those people who don’t invest in tankiness now are in for a rude awakening next season when the entire game suddenly starts to have some difficulty again. And no one’s going to want to have that 20 hp bloodied guy on their team in a raid when they’re constantly dying either. I foresee a lot of bloodied builds in a for rude awakening now that Bethesda is actually balancing this game after all these years of neglecting it.
The only thing about that is when they farm the new 4 star effect, we saw at 2:13. Those same people will be nigh unkillable with a slight tweak to their perks.

NGL I'm seeing glorified previous legendary mods. witch is kinda lame. and it kinda kills the special armor like the strangler heart PA. but im optimistic that these will be good! Good video!

I know there’s so many other things that people have wanted to come to the game but the Tesla Canon is the only thing I’ve ever really wanted 😍
Once I get that, that’s it I’m done with Fallout , Game completed 👌🏻 haha just kidding 😂 but my level of excitement is through the roof for that!
@P3nAlPineapple Same been missing this monster of a weapon since 3 and NV, just hope it's not a glorified missle/mini nuke.
Everyone is excited about these changes, but it makes me think that perhaps this is no longer the game for me. They are removing any form of consequence from the choices you make in your player build. Choosing to play in Power Armour means you are heavily protected, but are limited with VATS and AP use. Playing without Power Armour leaves you less protected, but you can use VATS more efficiently. Now everyone can be an unkillable tank, that can VATs enemies with zero cost to your AP. You will also be able to have so many perk cards that you'll have almost every buff and no downside to anything.. what's the point of that? It's like signing up to a kickboxing club, but under the condition that you only fight six year olds
For now I'm going to disagree with you. But that might change depending on the difficulty of the new raid. You are correct that optimized builds are absolutely overkill for the current difficulty. I'm hoping that this dungeon raid will provide a suitable challenge where these optimized builds will be needed.
@BrainWise95 I get that the raids might be difficult, but everything else will be easier, unless they balance things out. I genuinely loved it a few months back when a Mr. Handy could one shot you and Anglers melted players, it was exciting and gave us genuine risk in events. But people cried and Bethesda nerfed them

Are they coming after bloodied builds and nerving them. That's how I see it, and I'm bloodied...
They are definitely trying to stop the westtek run with nuka grenades, and using various xp buffs (live and love 3 mag), etc.
The speech chat thingy looks ok, but as long as it doesn't take up too much of the screen, it is fine. I'm deaf in one ear and have 50% in the other.
The ping thing isn't needed, in my opinion. Granted, it's good to help low levels with, but that's it.
Not looking forward to the new perks, as its messing everything up. Maybe could be better, but I'm stuck in my old ways.
We all know that with the update, they will break something they always do. I've yet to see an update where nothing has been broken. Let's hope our great God Todd doesn't bugger things up.

The ping system, I can see having a few flaws and as mentioned how do we prevent over spamming and things like that? I feel that will be handy during things like Daily Ops, Expeditions and the raid mode but out in the world , I have to agree, I really see it as more of a benefit to help out players who are unfamiliar with specific locations or where things are.

Bought a steam deck the other day from the steam store, the LCD version, as it was on sale.
The main reason was just to have something on the go, but I will try and get Fallout London to work on it.
Damn, I will continue to say this, but this game needs more automatic pistols.

I think you misread "Battle-Loader's".
I’m not sure what you mean 🤔 I went back and checked and I did say that it gives you a 15% chance to instantly reload when bashing enemies (up to 75% chance on Full Stack) 😊
@@P3nAlPineapple you did, but then you went on to talk about an ability that instantly reloads your gun when you bash something with it as "good for melee" 😜
@@P3nAlPineapple Bashing enemies means when you butt them with your gun. Not meant for melee like two handed weapons or chainsaws because you're not reloading anything lol it's for guns.
Did they touch on having the lvl 100 enemies stats raised to that lvl? So harder enemies which is good imo

@@jennycat0592 the reason I say that is that I’ve had a ton of PC players and friends always ask for the likes of this kind of system as there’s people who don’t use in game voice chat or discord for private party chats, so this helps them out in a big way but I believe this is coming to all platforms so a win win all around 😃

Buff for what and against whom? I don't have problems to kill ghouls or robots without buff and I don't remember when I died last time. They rather add new and stronger enemies instead buffs for softies.
I think it's because the raids. If they're buffing us... it means the raids might be hard... don't you think? feels like when you start finding a lot of healing items and that's how you know you're going to fight a hard boss lol.
