I agree with you too because the director of Batman Forever, Joel Schumacher inspiration for putting nipples on the Batman suit was recently going to a museum and looking at Ancient Greek statues and said since statues have nipples, the Batman suit should also have nipples

After Keaton turned down reprising the roll of Batman, the people in charge of casting must have decided to limit what they show the other actors script wise. Seriously though, I bet what it was juicy enough that could have ended Tommy Lee Jone's career.

Batman co-creator Bob Kane actually said that Kilmer was his favorite Batman actor he had seen (he didn't live to see Bale or Affleck. Or, on the other side of the scale, Clooney.)
I feel like this movie could have been really good. the casting was decent overall with Val Kilmer being a good bruce wayne, and I honestly thought Jim Carey was over the top hilarious (though mostly in an unintentional way) as the riddler. I think the writing, directing and some of the design elements (aka most of the movie) dragged it down to a point where no amount of star power could save it. Even the basic story itself wasn't bad. but the writing and directing shot this movie in the foot.
I have to admit Val Kilmer does a good job delivering those lines about Dr. Meridian’s advances. Definitely offbeat from the Tim Burton ones but I like it :)

Not even upset or mad or anything, because quoting Pitch Meeting catchphrases at work is tight!
Super easy. Barely an inconvenience
@@Dargonhuman Wow wow wow...wow!!!
I learned Michael Keaton has a ridiculous amount of artistic integrity❤💯
Joker (2019) with Batman Forever logic - Someone yawns during Arthur Fleck's stand up comedy performance. He goes mad and then instantly becomes The Joker.
No way. That is exactly the true reason. There was someone yawning in the audience.
He tells Zazie Beetz "It's the mental illness, isn't it? Chicks dig the mental illness".
Instead they went with the super normal random groups of people beating someone for no reason
Studio guy: So it’s gonna take a lot of storytelling and character development to explain how Arthur Fleck became the joker
Pitch guy: no actually it’s gonna be super easy barely an inconvenience
And the guy was wearing a shirt with a bat on it so now he hates Batman
And just like that, my already substantial respect for Michael Keaton skyrockets.
This is my favourite pitch, so funny and so true, I remember how disappointed I was when I watched this in the cinema especially the ridiculous helicopter sequence and the batmobile driving up the wall, I always wondered where the riddler got his green riddler trousers from as the fortune teller machine dummy was only wearing a jacket. 🤷🏻♂️😂😂
Batman may be forever but Doom is Eternal.
Reeeeee why must you like everything I like? I know you are probably tired of hearing this all the time, but I think it's just crazy how you appear seemingly everywhere.
Why is this comment so underated
I noticed you are everywhere you’re like that ninja fellow
@@Nintendo_Wolf yeah this guy is everywhere every time i read the comment section i always see this guy
But Buzz Lightyear is Infinity and Beyond.
"I went to a rave recently. I can't stop thinking about it."
The most perfect explanation ever for the look of Batman Forever following the Dark Gothic look of the two previous films.
I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if that's the REAL reasoning behind the garish aesthetic and cinematography! 😂
That’s the only explanation I could accept for that change in tone 😂
I agree with you too because the director of Batman Forever, Joel Schumacher inspiration for putting nipples on the Batman suit was recently going to a museum and looking at Ancient Greek statues and said since statues have nipples, the Batman suit should also have nipples
Batman Forever still has a lot of Gothic imagery though, and the music score is way more Gothic than Danny Elfman's. It's more that the cinematography is much brighter compared to Burton's movies.
Gotham in the first two movies just looked like NYC. Gotham in Forever looks like a unique city
I love the "she REALLY wants to sleep with..." running gags. I wish they were used more frequently!
Forever was a masterpiece compared to the sequel.
Whats the sequel
Farzana Shampa Batman & Robin.
I actually enjoy both. People tried to take them too seriously.
Batman forever was one of my faves
I would rather watch Batman and Robin honestly.
You either die a hero or live long enough to OH NO IT’S BOILING ACID!
"... what's his name?"
"Dick!"
"Hey! Screw you, buddy!"
"No, no, no, no, that's his name. His name's Dick...!"
"No, I know!"
"Oh..."
Lol!!!
I gotta admit...lost my breath there
I dont get it

Shady is tight!
@@gaaraofthedesert6566 The screenwritter guy thought that the producer guy called him Dick as an insult, because he insults him back. So he clarifies thats the name of the caracter. But in reallity the producer just want to say it.

I was so sure he was going to say “educational *MANSLAUGHTER* is TIGHT” 😂
The one mystery that Batman Forever never answered for me...
... what kind of dirt did they have on Tommy Lee Jones to blackmail him into being in this movie?
Hahaha
After Keaton turned down reprising the roll of Batman, the people in charge of casting must have decided to limit what they show the other actors script wise.
Seriously though, I bet what it was juicy enough that could have ended Tommy Lee Jone's career.
I heard he did it for his kids
They said they had a sex tape of him with Pamela Anderson. Tommy Lee Jones didnt even know what a sex tape was so he agreed even though the execs thought it was Tommy Lee Jones and not Tommy Lee.
@@linkheroofhyrule9364 LOL or perhaps they were trying to hire Tommy Lee for the role? Can you picture Two-Faced scrawny & tattoo'd with a cocaine addiction? :)
Adopting a man child is super easy barely and inconvenience
Grown men in their twenties are TIGHT!
@@ErwinPommel Whaaaarrt?
Real story, not weird at all. I mean AT ALL: "Charee Godwin-Smith and her husband, Kerry Smith, always wanted to adopt another child. They just never imagined he'd be a 20-something Marine aviation operations specialist."
Isn't that just called moving in, not adoption?

Stop butchering quotes!
- Dick!
- Hey, screw you buddy!
- No, no, no, that's his name, his name is Dick Grayson

Kidman was gorgeous
Underappreciated part of this crappy movie: Tommy Lee Jones' performance as two-face is actually more of a Cesar Romero Joker performance.
TLJ and jim carey were both trying so hard to be the joker
Do a Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory pitch meeting and the remake
Luigi 4Life
Hot take: The remake is LOADS better.

And I respectfully disagree.
Welcome to the Metaverse Why?
Jack Sparrow I think the first one has much more charm, but the Johnny Depp one is more faithful to the book.

Back to the Future
The Karate Kid
Goonies
Ghostbusters
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
Adventures in Babysitting
Pretty please!🙏
I was watching Atlantis: the Lost Empire a few weeks ago, and I couldn't help but think that the script for the pitch meeting just kinda wrote itself.
I am so glad I found this series. It is pure gold. THANK YOU.
90s Nicole Kidman just took my breath away 30 years later
Nicole Kidman is still hot today. Also, coincidentally, she is an outstanding actor.
Nicole Kidman is one of only two white women I think is truly beautiful in every way. Inside and outside. I sometimes think the word "ethereal" was created just to describe her. And she is just as amazing today as she was then. And WOW is she a phenomenal actress! Mad respect for her.
@@patrickd8654 She's really not. She just has a great agent and publicist.
Swyx nono the one who takes your breath away is Kelly McGillis.

I’m so glad you’re back doing movie pitches
This one is what’s been missing from my life. ...also I love the showing us what’s on his paper joke. Soooo good
Michael Keaton turning down “Batman Forever” , because he has a soul is tight.
You mean tight? ^^
If he had a soul he would have turned down Batman Returns, the only good thing about that movie is the relationship between Batman and Catwoman.
Iwonttellmy nametoamachine: You’re absolutely right.
@@dakritic Here you also mean tight, don't you? ^^
Well ok then
"See we're gonna emulate the campy look and feel of the old TVshow!"
"Wow, that seems like a huge tonal shift from the first two movies. You sure that will translate well with the current marketing trends?"
"I don't know!"
"Okay, let's do that for two movies. I'm sure it'll be fine."
Hey Ryan, excellent pitch meeting as always. I’m doing a little time traveling by re-watching some old favorites. I just realize that at the end of your videos when you mentioned that there are a ton of other pitch meetings on the channel that you are referencing a metric ton, which is even more videos than a US ton! Very impressive!
Michael "turns down 15 million because he is a real actor" Keaton
*What is this? Pro-Wrestling?*
This not the Joe Rogan podcast
It's a Tide ad.
He turned it down because he's Batman, and that script was not about Batman.
Some weird comments here guys. Just kinda nonsensical
Pity, I thought Val Kilmer was a good Bruce Wayne and Batman. Wasted.
He was excellent bro
Batman co-creator Bob Kane actually said that Kilmer was his favorite Batman actor he had seen (he didn't live to see Bale or Affleck. Or, on the other side of the scale, Clooney.)
He definitely had the best Batman voice. He sounded almost identical to Kevin Conroy
Val Kilmer got fat.
I have to admit Val Kilmer does a good job delivering those lines about Dr. Meridian’s advances. Definitely offbeat from the Tim Burton ones but I like it :)
"I went to a rave..."
The Wachoski siblings making the Matrices.
"And let me tell ya, this grown man, he does laundry like a martial arts master!"
"Oh? What the hell are ya talkin' about?"
💀
Pitch Meeting: Wizard of Oz, Gone with the Wind... simply because, I would LOVE to see how Ryan tackles the background, clothing, and speech of that time period.
Well... mainly the background lol!
Suggestion: "Resident Evil" movie franchise (separate or as all in one, for example: your "Game of Thrones" video vs your "GoT Season 8" video)
Method man's "the riddler" is the best thing about batman forever.
Kissed by a Rose
Carrey is terrible Riddler imho. Jim Carrey basically played his over-the-top Mask role is this movie. I think the best Riddler was from Arkham Batman video games.
5:19 reminds me of Batman begins when Batman says 'I won't kill you, but I don't have to save you"
4:02 that explains a lot
Me and me siblings used to really like Batman Forever.
My uncle was so disappointed in us. I now see why
Who else is bingeing these during quarantine??
I love those Schumacher movies. They made me love batman when i was a kid.
"Murder is not okay but if do something that leads to someone take their own life, that's okay" - Bullying was invented circa 1990's.
Wow hard meta joke nice that stings.. XD
Bullying was invented around the time life formed
Eye Conqueror i see what you mean but as time and years progressed in certain aspects it became a lot worse in certain measures in short its almost like that was the message actually you want to not feel bad about someone dying well its ok you dont have to if you didnt do anything other than say some mean things or do something that then caused them to essentially end it whether it be on purpose or by a result of the circumstances based on the bullying
"They just shoot him in the face, which knocks him unconscious."
I didn't realise Bruce Wayne was a Mount & Blade character.
I've heard many people dissing this movie, and I finally decided to watch it. I gotta say... It exceeded my exceptions, I mean seriously.
