I just finished getting my hair professionally relaxed my hair like about 3hours 😂 ago after being natural for 17 years. Thank God I found your channel.
I don't think ppl realize how much trauma we inflict on our hair daily. Treatment n moisture is absolutely necessary. Thanks for sharing...your hair is living proof that your advice is solid☺️
Talking about how the sunlight can damage your hair even further with frequent exposure is very true and it can actually break down the bonds of your hair! So I’m really glad you mentioned it because not a lot of people will and especially on relaxed hair it’s good to protect it.
I use to get me a fresh relaxer wait a week then get my sew in with leave out. I never got breakage, not even on my nape and temple area. I think it depends on who is doing your hair and how their grip is.
Thnx for this. I’m going to start putting JBCO on my hair and scalp a day before washing it. Idk why I’ve never thought of doing that before now. I want my hair to become more full
Great advice! Especially the sun exposure in the summer. Ever since I started watching your videos I make sure I do a treatment every week. My hair is thriving. (headed to get my trim next week) ❤ Have a great weekend!
Her hair cut look a lot like the Italian bob! Since she trims on her own looks like it naturally developed into a bob! She’s got a lot of length so it makes her bob look really full and just amazing.
Thanks for the tips! I've been hearing a lot about trimming the ends of your hair and I don't really get it. I know I'm supposed to cut split ends but I can't really see my hair. Care to explain more on the length I'm to trim out?
I’m newly relaxed after years of being natural and your videos are so helpful. Thank you! I know you mentioned you mentioned you dust your ends after every wash but sometimes I’ll see a scraggly split end and just cut it there and then. Do you think that’s bad / am I overdoing the dustings? Or does that seem ok?
Chyleeeee yes! I agree and I don’t think any protective styling should be done after any type of chemical treatment. Anytime I’ve seen someone do that I could clearly tell their hair was falling off the bone. All that for whatttt lol 😂
Wow your hair is amazing. I just got a relaxer today, but i can smell the burn in my hair...the hairdresser in the salon used a lot of heat and also got burns from a relaxer. I am so worried. What treatment can i do before post relaxer wash day?
1:31 never considered this before. Trust me, he sun here in Jamaica is HOT 🥵 but I always carry my umbrella. Idc who thinks it’s weird but I gotta protect my skin and hair . Btw how do you get your hair to be so voluminous? I love the volume in mine because it has some texture, but it still looks a bit flat to me . Not to say it’s over processed or damaged (it’s actually rlly healthy) but I just want some more volume
Been natural since 2012 and i live and i know how to take care of my natural hair but im thinking about going back to relax hair simply because im a mother and alot of natural heads with full thick hair has become so tired for me

Fantastic advice! Your hair looks bouncy and healthy! I trim every time I relax at the salon
The sun damage makes so much sense. I could not figure out why the crown of my head so much breakage. Thank you!!!
You’re welcome ❤️
I’ve never experienced breakage at my crown maybe because there’s so much humidity in New Orleans .

There isn’t a specific way I’m sorry! I just trim my ends regularly

No I do the same! You’re better than me though I just pull at it which can make it worse 😩
@@NiaraAlexis ok I wasn’t sure if I was doing too much lol thank you!
@@cocoajanelle Dusting is a game changer. I do it every wash. But every 6 weeks is ok too. I hate crunchy ends/tips
Thx for sharing this was definitely helpful but what treatments? Like hair masks-?
Yes any type of treatment

No heavy pomades, gels or edge control. Got 2b got to go
😂
Hey could you recommend a stylist that safely and evenly relaxes hair?! In illinois or in Iowa?.
I don’t know any stylists there
Hi beautiful! I’m trying to locate your video where you’re talking about the hot oil treatment?! I know you have one!

Yes I do! Here it is th-cam.com/video/iTToa_jTpd0/w-d-xo.html
how soon after relaxing do you wash ?
I wash my hair once a week when I’m wearing it out
When we saw split end we need to cut iiiiiittt😎😎😎🙌👌cut it cut it💇♀️💇♀️Thx for those tips
You’re welcome 😊
Been natural since 2012 and i live and i know how to take care of my natural hair but im thinking about going back to relax hair simply because im a mother and alot of natural heads with full thick hair has become so tired for me
Can i get tapes after my relaxer 🫢😊
I personally wouldn’t. Anything applying tension to to fresh relaxed hair is a recipe for disaster if you ask me
Is your hair layered?
Unintentionally yes lol
