Note for this guide: I'm seeing some people get hung up on the AIO host option being missing on the host. The options were just moved to the landing page. So the option is now labelled "PSFree 900 Manual Hybrid".
On the web browser it keeps saying "Cannot connect to the server." What should I do

For anyone using this tutorial the Kameleon menu has changed a bit. Pick the second from the right option like in the video but it has WebKit in the title. Then pick goldhen beta and then manual is the only option. Pick that. Then follow vid instructions.Worked for me. Great tutorial.

5.05 is still stable as of 9.00 u need to plug unplug USB everytime. And failed Inject of Exploit needs to restart.. on 5.05 u just delete the browser page then comeback and inject again.

I already had a second hand jailbroken ps4 with me but it was on version 6.75 and because of ur video, I was able to update my ps4 to version 9.00 and aswell as jailbreak it again. I really hope a way to jailbreak 11.02 or higher is discovered soon. I want to play some custom DLC for Rock Band 4! I promised I'd wait until official DLC production caesed, and now that it has, I feel no guilt in bringing in customs.

This is actually class I have an old ps4 at my dads house I Havent updated in years just realised its pure gold now
Im glad I bought a ps4 pro 9.00 3 years ago and it surely paid off considering it still requires 9.00 or below to Jailbreak and probably will be like this until we get a permanent CFW like ps3 has. I am still waiting for this day but won’t happen anytime soon. We just have to wait until Sony loses interest on the ps4 and stops updating it then they could figure it out.
I can't wait for the overclock fw and untethered jailbreak should help when running Linux. It's not that bad already I can play payday 2 with 2 different mod menus one opens a cmd prompt in background. It was my gaming PC before I bought the legion go. I still love my base model ps4s

I needed this to prompt me to update my DNS after the old one was taken down. Currently running a cached old GoldHEN due to lack of internet. Lol
Which dns are you using now that AlAzif is locked off?
@@ix57ey I actually just used it without DNS, updated the cached page, and then turned the internet off again. Not elegant but it did the job, albeit with the terror of having to stop it downloading the latest firmware. Lol

Great tutorial reminder. A tip from me. To save the USB port on the PS4 from excess wear, I use a USB Switcher 2 in 1 Out / 1 in 2 Out, they are cheap on AMZN and with a simple push of the button the USB drive can be switched on or off.

Or get a USB Hub with individual power switches.

@@sherifbatawy As long as you still have the account and the games on the PS4 they should remain playable. You also have the option to swap the save files to different game versions and accounts.

I restored a broken PS4 Slim and it had 10.50 on it. I remembered the old saying and never updated. Waiting for the jailbreak.
@@FinalDisintegration you don't need to update a firmware when replacing a hard drive. Just install the same version

I would have said look into bd-jb But that only works for 9.03 and 9.04. Keep an eye out there might be a method in the future.

What *DNS* Settings are you using that allow you to connect to the internet? Are they automatic? And if they are automatic, do we risk network feedback? *Edit* screw it I'm doing it anyways.

You can use nomadics dns server you can google for it. I saw that modded warfare was using it.

You dont need to use the usb method at 5.05 firmware

Thank you for all the hard work. The flow has always been my lifesaver for anything Sony. I followed your guide with my newly purchased ps4. Usb firmware update and usb injection for goldhen. It’s quicker to use the usb than to swap a disk out. Again thank you guys so much.

if you changing from hdd to ssd use recovery if you not just use the regular update
Recovery firmware is needed to setup a new drive unless you clone the old drive to the new one.

Make sure to update to 5.05 if you can. DON'T UPDATE to the current jailbreak because it'll require the usb method which sucks the big one. This guy won't explain that in the video though. Comment of the year right here.

I remember when I holded so long on my PS4 Slim with FW 8.xx probably a year or longer.
Then I got a PS5 and after a while I thought, well I sell my PS4 since I needed some money fast and there wasn't any good news for a JB in a long time and PS5 is backwards compatible.
Boom 1 week later the 9.00 JB released.
Biggest regret I ever had when I sold a console.
I hope it doesn't take to long for the 11.00 one, since my new PS4 is on there.

Hello! Love your videos. Iv been trying to get a 9.00 or lower ps4 for what seems like ages now, but with the new developments about the flows meeting in may, would it be better to try and just find an 11.00 ps4 or will it not be able to be jailbroken.
Just recently hardwired my ESP32-S1 mini to the back of the usb pins and mounted it under the fan (1100a) loaded with PSFree it’s exploiting in about 4 seconds no errors yet.
Also the usb port that the ESP is attached to still works for charging the controller.
Not to hard to remove the bottom cover to access the ESP32 if I need to update it.

For reasons unknown to me, on Android I can format and write the ".img" file on "RAW" USB drives and my console recognize them without any issues, while PC's and some other devices cannot read them.
It's an interesting option for those who already had some bad drives and want to revive them.
Any specialized apk used to format? Or just plain explorer?

Just did this to a PS4 that had a damaged os install from the recycling centre electronics container, it was asking for a full recovery image.
So it confused me for a bit with me trying the update files only, instead of the full install ones on the same page.
But once i had 9.0 on there and used a search engine too find the exploit page to make it load it worked like a charm.

After inserting the usb (buy an extension usb cable by the way.. helps) I take out the usb after the initial message has popped up, I then click ok. If i do it the other way system crashes.. I also don't go to the website as it is the user guide (updated goldhen) ready to go.. Cannot get my hands on a ps5 with firmware 4.51 or below. Many thanks for the vids MW.
i found a ps4 at my job at a game store that was running v8.00, i quickly bought it as my main ps4 slim was too updated, and updated it to v9.00 from a PS4 update archive. i have yet to mod it but hopefully this video should help me

2. Can I still play multiplayer online internet/Local LAN?
3. Can I still update my games to their latest versions/new content/patches/DLC?
4. Do game versions check my firmware versions, i.e requiring a certain higher firmware level in order to play it?

When On cheats manager, the cheat repository goes through, but plugins and patches get stuck on downloading and never actually downloads. Help 😢
