Hey quick question how do you not get copyright struck for playing full songs?

Most bands or labels do claim copyright and run ads, but you don't get strikes for it.
Though, i did hear that it's different for livestreaming. I was told that livestreaming music bands/labels can utilize copyright strikes, not 100% sure if that's true or not, though. -Joel
