    Thanks for the video. I feel more confident now about doing this myself.

      No problem glad I could help. It's really easy, theres so much extra wire, shoving it behind the upholstery was the most work, lol. 👍

    Nice tips. The battery stuff is something I was looking for especially for when parking. My question is if the cams are always recording or do they only record the last 5 minutes or so after you push a button as I've seen? What is the storage capacity or can you link to your phone or USB?

      They are ALWAYS recording. The footage goes to a cloud storage server and is auto deleted after a few weeks. If there is an accident you can pull up the video footage OR give the officer you SD card out of the device. You can purchase more storage space like a platinum package I think they call it where it stays in the cloud storage for longer and MORE footage is stored.

      You can watch the footage from your phone or you can take out the SD card and plug it into a tablet or laptop and watch it that way. The storage I think is about 4 or 5 days worth but you can always purchase more space to go up to a weeks worth or a full 30 days worth but you pay more money of course. I plan on upgrading to the next model that has its own MOBILE WI-FI HOTSPOT built in so everyone can use a tablet or laptop in the vehicle without roaming charges.

      You can hear the ladys voice when you park somewhere, she'll say "Parking mode is on" and it will record 24 hours a day, the battery charges while you drive and has more than enough power to record throughout the night. With the front and rear installed you have pretty much full coverage, I would say about 310 to 330 degrees and picture is amazingly clear

    How’d you remove the panels that hide the cable? I’m looking to do something like this on my pathfinder.

      I did not remove any panels at all. I just used the upholstery tool that came with the camera and gently tugged enough room to push the wire into place. Sorry it took forever to comment.

    How do you charge that battery? And is it true it will last 12 hours?

    • @TheJustUsLeague
      @TheJustUsLeague  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When you start your engine it charges while you drive and powers itself all day long. I have never ran out of juice for this battery, great product.

      One more thing bro.. the part were you install the rear cam.. how did you route the cable to get inside rubber strip to get to the inside of the cabin..

    • @sydmichael13
      @sydmichael13 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have to lift or pull up the rubber strip to make the cable run inside and into the pillars?

    • @TheJustUsLeague
      @TheJustUsLeague  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sydmichael13 yeah just pull the rubber lining towards your body just enough to push the camera wire underneath the rubber. You will be going in a downward motion to get the wire behind the rubber. You can't see it but the wire is lying behind the rubber for about 2 inches then I pushed in towards the cabin so it would be behind the upholstery.
