Can you do a video going over all the augments that change the firing properties of weapons (like the grenade launcher or lighting gun) and explain all the changes that they do?
Here you go th-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=WJiODQQEnk0 Sorry it's a bit late, it took me like 2 days to make lol And in case there's things I haven't covered that you wish to know specifically about the augments themselves and how they work, here is a little research post I found some interesting stuff on that goes into a little more detail www.reddit.com/r/masseffect/comments/61uxhc/no_spoilers_me_andromeda_craftingaugments/
I once found a vendor that sold nomad upgrades and cant remember where the guy was.. not talking about paint jobs but real upgrades and id rather buy them than build them. Any idea where its at? Google is a shit storm right now stopping me from finding any useful MEA info
Xaine's World there is also a kiosk in the badlands on kadara that gave me 2 upgrades. now I'm not sure if these mods are sold at different kiosks for different people.
+Xaine's World a great informative vid on the Nomad... not many care about it to make a vid! yes I totally agree about the agility mode being awesome .... altho it was one of the last upgrades I went for...if only I'd known! :/ that way to obtain the Eos hidden cache is insane!!!! your timing must be perfect to exit the nomad as it crashes off the pillar before crashing to the ground! i used an engineer profile... carefully reverse parked my Nomad to as far as I dared, then used it to jump off the back of it to the 1st pillar, the jump to the 2nd pillar with the cache was an easy 1st time jump after that :) I have some info on the further Nomad upgrades you asked about... like pics of "advanced detection system", "improved shield regeneration", "shield reset bonus", "supercharged boost" and lastly "torque management (6WD), I'll send you the pics if you have an email addy you can give me
haha, thank you, my original attempts to get it without the Nomad were in a stream so I didn't give it much time so missed the normal way to get there. And thank you but I have since got all of the upgrades myself now through general game progression, really appreciate the offer though, super cool of you!
As a note, the "super charged boost" overlaps with the "improved boost". Specifically, I had both available, developed the super charged boost and the "improved boost" disappeared as an option. I think that this means that super charged version replaces the improved version instead of amplifying it.
I'd been waiting to upgrade mine aside from the supplemental life support. Had been under the mistaken impression you would only be able to use a specific number of upgrades...although waiting allowed time for resource building. Just working on the Angara worlds now. Some of the annoying navigation there sparked the thought of upgrades.
Well, thank you for the great and informative video... and confirming that not only it lacks usual turret, there is also no mod to make it spawn at least engineer turret when you exit and that the circle on the top rear of the vehicle is just for show:(
EDIT: PSA!!! THE OTHER UPGRADES ARE ON THE NEXUS - DOCKING BAY, VENDORS, ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thumbs up for the paint job, breu. edit; oh, holy shit - just got up to the bit where ya show us how to get the other upgrades (like the one on the pillar in Eos). excellent work man, thanks again.
hhmmmm. ta be honest - I've been stoned almost all of the 100 odd hours that I've been playing the game, and have no idea how I unlocked the upgrades. If it helps the search, I tend to do as many side quests as I can before moving the story along, including exploration (I'm loving the patch).
the advanced detection system u can get on the ice planet , just talk with a npc (not a mission) in the first camp, i find it one of the top upgrades you must have
I have since found out that many merchants sell them, but certain milestone unlock their availability, since I unlocked some ive seen them in the nexus nomad merchant to.
If you havnt found the last 4 mods i got all of them and they seem to be random drops, i only hav Eos(100%), Havarl(100%), and Voel(100%) and currently on the sand planet so im like 5% through the story but i was able to get them, so its possible they are related to viablilty or a quest i did but when i finally started getting nomad mods, didnt kuz i wasnt sure i could only hav a set amount, i saw them in the development tab
Torque upgrade [6wD] you can buy from a mods merchant I got mine on the nexus And advanced detection system can be bought from the mods merchant on kadara
A lot of people got it there, it turns out the last 4 are milestone unlocked, stuff like, level, first 100% planet, second outpost stuff like that, thanks for the input, the more info the better :)
Xaine's World if its easier than I believe would you mind making a video on how to properly get it? I followed very random guides to get that cache, twas a nightmare
+Mark Jakims unsure where to purchase as I just made from the blueprint, if doing that, it'll just unlock as you progress, possibly requires it being unlocked as a blueprint to purchase, but you can purchase from the Turian vendor on Kadara that asks you to help her.
Just finished playing and i liked the game and wish they would of fixed the bugs. I recommend it for first timers and i think we got hustled the business men took the money and ran instead of fixing things.... i think they always intended this..... it really is a gold game if you can ignore the bugs that is.
I found the advanced life support to be as annoying as its usefull. If you dont tend to drive into enemies and exit in the middle of a group i'd say dont install it. Because you cant fire out of the shield just as enemies cant fire in. So if you park in safer spots you need to run out of the shield before you can start shooting.
I see, you are probably right. I can't remember when exactly the upgrade unlocked for me last night. I was finishing up all side quests on Voeld, killing the Architect and pushing for 100%, saw the unlock at some point there. Then I watched Xaine's video and thought it could be the Architect... Sorry for the misinformation. I'll keep an eye for the next upgrade unlock.
Thank you Jesse for the clearup and don't worry about it William, that's why I was going to confirm it before I put it in any type of video, in such a large game, it's quite difficult to narrow everything down, with enough people giving the information they have we can put it all together and get the most likely outcome :)....... SCIENCE!
I just checked after replying, and at some point during that stream 3 of the remaining 4 unlocked for me, the only one that didn't was 6WD, I am fairly certain now that they unlock from generic milestones, whether it be level, overall viability, voeld was my first to 100, that probably unlocked one, 2nd outpost etc etc
Make sense. Another interesting info: I unlocked and developed the second boost upgrade without installing the first boost upgrade, then the first one was automatically installed and removed from the development list. In other words, waiting until the Super Boost upgrade is unlocked will save the resources of the Improved Boost.
+Artemis unfortunately there's far too many variables, I'd need exact progression from multiple people to remotely narrow it down, most happened for me in Voeld but for other different planet which makes me think it was things like milestone or second outpost, or first 100% viability things like that but it's very hard to tell
It seems they can be bought, but you also gain the blueprint through general progression, haven't confirmed this myself, but many viewers have noted such.
+TatsumiyaLightning aaah ok, come to think of it, was livestreaming when i gave it a quick go jumping so didn't do more than a single quick attempt, no one wants to see someone dry humping a rock lol. Cheers for letting me know :)
All of the "additional upgrades" are unlocked between level 50-80 - although I'm unsure of the specifics. There is another Shield-related upgrade which isn't mentioned in the video is from some side quest on Voeld (I believe its the one which had issues with completing 100%)
It's on Origin, EA's own version of steam, as for the requirements I'm no sure, you can probably find out on origins website, it's a very resource intensive game, though I do play at ultra max settings so unsure of low.
i'm on my NG+, have all if not most of the upgrades, and i have yet to find any Nomad mods. has anyone found any *mods* for the Nomad (as in the items that go in the "mods" section under the Nomad paint job)? do they not exist? why would they bother making a mod category if there arent any mods for the Nomad?
+Garth Palmer tbh I'm unsure, the mods refers to the blueprints but a physical version, but they are auto installed so maybe they added the auto install and forgot to get rid of the inventory section?
:D as far as the accents go, me and ESO are quite different, but it's hard to tell apart if you aren't from northern England, even southern England wouldn't be able to notice much of a difference. I'm from the midlands and for where I am, my accent isn't very strong, but to the rest of the world i'm northerner :D
Nicely done!!, someone else in the comments managed to also, still waiting on a how lol, could you let me know exactly how you did it? I'm just super curious
The key is knowing that you can dash/dodge (middle mouse button on PC) while jumping. A running jump + dash from the hillside next to the second column onto it and then another to the column with the cache is all it takes.
Can you do a video going over all the augments that change the firing properties of weapons (like the grenade launcher or lighting gun) and explain all the changes that they do?
That sir is a good idea, I will add it to the list, itll take a few days as it's a lot to go through, but ill get it done!
Here you go th-cam.com/users/edit?o=U&video_id=WJiODQQEnk0
Sorry it's a bit late, it took me like 2 days to make lol

Kadara at the wind farm.
I subbed mainly because your videos are super informative! keep it up bro
Thank you very much bud, will do!
I did get a couple nomad mods from the buy/sell kiosk on the tempest
oooh that's helpful cheers! will have to check it later for the last one I need
Xaine's World there is also a kiosk in the badlands on kadara that gave me 2 upgrades. now I'm not sure if these mods are sold at different kiosks for different people.
yeah i got the 6wd torque upgrade and the advanced detection system there!

ill have to check, I have them both now, one viewer commented that by buying supercharged, the improved boost was also implemented so cant be certain.
u earned yourself a New subscriber:) love the vids keep it up bro!
great to hear :D thx brother

Loving the dailies xaine. Very thorough!
Awesome! very happy to hear it :), more coming of course!
Well, thank you for the great and informative video... and confirming that not only it lacks usual turret, there is also no mod to make it spawn at least engineer turret when you exit and that the circle on the top rear of the vehicle is just for show:(
+John Gooch never been a fan of turrets on SP vehicles myself but would definitely be of use
+K Fuji haha, no worries, i think the paint job is nebula from Nexus nomad merchant
+K Fuji only if you've unlocked them bud, you get the blueprints to as you unlockem
+K Fuji can't find that nomad comment O.o
+K Fuji aaah i did, sorry, drinking beer so didn't quite connect was you lol
hhmmmm. ta be honest - I've been stoned almost all of the 100 odd hours that I've been playing the game, and have no idea how I unlocked the upgrades.
If it helps the search, I tend to do as many side quests as I can before moving the story along, including exploration (I'm loving the patch).
after you get to TH-103? there's a mining dome with about 300 platinum
the advanced detection system u can get on the ice planet , just talk with a npc (not a mission) in the first camp, i find it one of the top upgrades you must have

if i remember u get those from 4th map that outlaw place where is that was it windmill place
Torque upgrade [6wD] you can buy from a mods merchant I got mine on the nexus
And advanced detection system can be bought from the mods merchant on kadara
Thanks mate you've got a sub
you can get that cache with out any up grades in did it
Oooh really? how did you do it?
I did it by pillar hopping with character. run->jump->dash to each pillar.
I have the six wheel drive not sure where I got it but the current planet I'm on is voeld not sure if that's any help
A lot of people got it there, it turns out the last 4 are milestone unlocked, stuff like, level, first 100% planet, second outpost stuff like that, thanks for the input, the more info the better :)
Where can I find the mode at in game
haven't tried to get that cache on eos but I'm triggered bc I dont think there's been a harder one then the cache on top of the angaran base on voeld
+SenorGuts hmm, I'll have to have a look at that, i thought they were all inside
Xaine's World if its easier than I believe would you mind making a video on how to properly get it? I followed very random guides to get that cache, twas a nightmare
where is the emergency shock field purchased from?
+Mark Jakims unsure where to purchase as I just made from the blueprint, if doing that, it'll just unlock as you progress, possibly requires it being unlocked as a blueprint to purchase, but you can purchase from the Turian vendor on Kadara that asks you to help her.
That like to view ratio is already looking awesome! love you awesome people!
Just finished playing and i liked the game and wish they would of fixed the bugs. How did you get the space skin?
+Eric Lidiak from the nomad vendor in the nexus, called Nebula i think
I think I got the 6-wheel upgrade from defeating the Architect at Voeld, I would guess the remaining upgrade are all from killing various Architects.
That is some super valuable info brother, thank you very much, I'm popping on live shortly so I think I know where ill be going :)
I see, you are probably right. I can't remember when exactly the upgrade unlocked for me last night. I was finishing up all side quests on Voeld, killing the Architect and pushing for 100%, saw the unlock at some point there. Then I watched Xaine's video and thought it could be the Architect...

subbed!!!!
My nomad wont even go up road hills in eos i dont understand
6:28 or just climb those rock at the bottom south west and done lol
+Painkiller DCXVI i tried that and didn't make it, i was streaming though so didn't give much time to the attempts
Painkiller DCXVI I spammed Pull on one of those invisible dog things till it got high enough to use Charge.
3:50 boost fast Vehicle
have you found the additional upgrades?
+Artemis yes, they seems to be unlocked via progression but can also be bought from vendors or made once unlocked
at what level of progression did you unlocked them?
+Artemis unfortunately there's far too many variables, I'd need exact progression from multiple people to remotely narrow it down, most happened for me in Voeld but for other different planet which makes me think it was things like milestone or second outpost, or first 100% viability things like that but it's very hard to tell
my nomad is still stock with no upgrades, I'm at lvl 20 Hardcore, so many things to craft I don't have the resource for it yet haha
+Artemis yeah at the start not enough by level 40 you'll have too much :)
i got 2/4 of the final upgrade and i have no idea where i got it
+Sỹ Phạm yes, they just get unlocked in the background as you progress it seems
oh dont u get those 4 from vendor i have those and i havent crafted any of mod expect advanced life support
It seems they can be bought, but you also gain the blueprint through general progression, haven't confirmed this myself, but many viewers have noted such.
Let's say you buy upgrade "x"for the nomad. Once you bought it does the game realize you have upgrade "x" and not put it in the developmental screen?
+Justin J I believe so yes, it can't be removed, so pointless to keep
i have 3 out of the 4 upgrades
same now, I'm just missed 6WD, haven't had much time to play recent though, expect itll come fairly soon.
ill have to backtrack through there, probably missed a quest, cheers :)
Uuh, you can get that cache by just jumping when you're out of the nomad. It takes a bit of work to find the right spot, but...
+TatsumiyaLightning aaah ok, come to think of it, was livestreaming when i gave it a quick go jumping so didn't do more than a single quick attempt, no one wants to see someone dry humping a rock lol. Cheers for letting me know :)
I think you needed to do a well timed air dodge to make it, but it is doable.
All of the "additional upgrades" are unlocked between level 50-80 - although I'm unsure of the specifics. There is another Shield-related upgrade which isn't mentioned in the video is from some side quest on Voeld (I believe its the one which had issues with completing 100%)
I unlocked those 4 and an extra one before 30, I think it's tied to milestones through general progression
Where do I download this (it's not on steam I believe) and what system requirements are needed to run it?
It's on Origin, EA's own version of steam, as for the requirements I'm no sure, you can probably find out on origins website, it's a very resource intensive game, though I do play at ultra max settings so unsure of low.

+Garth Palmer tbh I'm unsure, the mods refers to the blueprints but a physical version, but they are auto installed so maybe they added the auto install and forgot to get rid of the inventory section?
ESO is that you talking???
haha unfortunately not, he's WAY more popular than me :)
Xaine's World you sound and talk just like him!!
:D as far as the accents go, me and ESO are quite different, but it's hard to tell apart if you aren't from northern England, even southern England wouldn't be able to notice much of a difference.
I'm from the midlands and for where I am, my accent isn't very strong, but to the rest of the world i'm northerner :D
u missed 1 mod there is an ultra rare mod for the booster
Really, there's a 3rd booster mod or are you saying theres a 2nd vertical boost mod?
Fuck yeah i reached that bitch ass cache with no upgrades! Thank you for giving me a small yet irrelevant internet ego boost !
The nomad is a vehicle, when fully upgraded, can do up to 161kph on ROUGH terrain... somebody please build this thing in real life!
Let me guess....120 copper, 40 lithium and 30 platinum
