I'm imagining an Ogryn just fucking stealing chunks out of support beams as he's going through the mission, I can even imagine some of the exchanges Guardsman: hey big guy, w-why are you taking chunks out of the support beams? Ogryn: rogg hurty bad guys Guardsman: y'know what we'll take what we can get on these missions, you keep at it big guy
Considering the age and standard situation Tertium finds itself in, I doubt he'd even need to tear it out of the walls. He just skips merrily along and every couple of minutes he passes a rock that looks "real good for throwin'" and he just grabs it like an eager toddler at the beach.

tbh I like the idea of the ogryn grenade just being a normal frag ut *CHONK* besides its not exactly just a scaled up version. I believe the normal human frag is more cylindrical in shape rather than the pineapple.
Something I didn't quite notice until the 4 gauge is that the Ogryn's reload speed buff isn't just a sped up animation, it's a KF2-stlye unique quickload animation, that (like the revolver reload from launch) is such a sweet little touch on top of this fucking 3 layer cake they've been god damn backing. Holy shit this update was worth the wait.
Wait the kickback is 4 gauge, im pretty sure he just shooting grapeshot for a canon he wielded a stock to it, check out the ks23, its a 4 gauge Russian shotgun that shoots alot of crazy rounds
@@elgringofeo9348The Kickback is way too big to be only 4 gauge. The fact it looks like an M79 leads me to believe it's at least 40mm (1 gauge) but, considering the Kickback is also Ogryn sized, I think it's a much bigger bore than that.

One of the cool things added was the additional voice lines. My Zealot had an EXTREME heart to heart with a Psyker, saying she's never going to be worthy of redemption because of a mistake she made. While the Psyker had been an enforcer, she took the lex into her own hands and fucked up hard and has horrid memories of the burning.
When I last played played darktide, the loading times were an absolute buzzkill. If they've improved considerably, then I'll start playing again. I also remember one game where a lone mutant was the reason nobody could be revived, causing us to lose. I ragequit after that.
Just today had a match where on the *pre-mission* bridge a Plague Ogryn spawn just threw us all to our deaths, almost ran out of breath from laughing as such a can of whoop ass got delivered.
I freakin love the animation you did for this one. I also love how they change the animation for the ogyrn grenade launcher and shotgun when you're in Dakka-Dakka mode.

After seeing ROCK and that psyker forcefield I am definitely reinstalling. Finally the game has more options and you don't feel like you're overlapping having more than one class on your team.

I love that the zealot now has the ability to hold a requilary/crucifix like an exorcist and chant gospel of his holy name. They really pulled through with this updated

When it comes to vermintide, every character there is memed equally and people focus on each of their unique traits. But when it comes to darktide, its 90% about ogryns and 10% the rest of the classes.
The ogryns chose of throwables are either a box of grenades, four chucks of concrete he just ripe out of the ground or then for some fucking reason they thought those chose’s wasn’t as stupid they literally just said give the guy a grenade that fits in there hand that has the blast radius of a small county. I FUCKING LOVE OGRYNS.

I think the box didn’t explode because I herd that in the lore they gave Ogryns training garnades because they are obvious not very smart and giving a space marine sized baby live garnades is probably not a good idea

I'm so happy the skill trees got reworked, one of the main reasons that I lost interest in the game was that both the skills and skill trees felt lackluster, like they were too basic or something was missing.
i don't if you've this but most of the branch are not "choice" they are "Path". That mean that you can take the hability of the 2 path at the same time.

my only issue with the ogryn frag grenade is that it looks like a frag grenade and not a big old-timey undersea depth charge

Man that ability is SO good. I built a melee centered zealot with it and helped the team through so many rough spots, it even stuns bosses
