Fun fact: Orks are so unintelligent that their weapons only work because they have a gestalt psychic field that causes their weapons to work because they believe that the weapons work. When cracked open by several Mechanicus, even the vehicles are just random metal pieces welded onto four wheels that even the Mechanicus couldn’t figure out how to start.

The Mechanicus is the equivalent of inheriting a load of shit from your dad. The Orks do what they can with what they got and what they got is metal pipes and hope. And by god its all they need

What’s hilarious about the Orcs is that they’re only brainless right now (outside the leader in a mech suit) is because they’ve only been fighting each other; they get smarter the more they fight other people, for long periods of time, because they learn more and more. So, therefore, if you keep fighting them, they will inevitably get smarter.

Why a warlord titan is ABSOLUTE.
1. Few forge worlds can actually build the damn thing.
2. Those that can, takes least 80-100 years to make ONE.
3. They are city breakers and siege platforms. They are useful on the battlefield.
4. Most titans in general, are hundreds, thousands of years old. They Sometimes wage war to recover a fallen titan from a planet because rebuild one takes less time then making a new one. Despite the possibly millions of dead in the recovery... Welcome to Warhammer 40.000.

"Dumbass weaboo space commys" is actually a fairly accurate summation of the Tau. Also, fun Astarte power is they can see peoples memories by eating them.
I mean Tau literally had Gundams
some can... some of the geneseeds have degraded to the point that various chapters have lost certain abilities that were supposed to be common amongst all Space Marines. Acid Saliva is another one that is missing from some chapters. Also, just to be complete some chapter's geneseed has mutated to the environment from which that chapter gains it's recruits. The space wolves and salamanders are good examples of this.

From what I was told one time in VRChat during a PVP event or so, the correct term is "Weaboo Space Socialist". To that, I say "Weaboo Space Socialist-Communists" or "Weaboo Space Communist-Socialists". I kind of like the Tau. They're the first race I picked for my first DoW: Soulstorm campaign.

Fun fact about 40k: Did you know that orks have the power to think of anything and it will come true? The only problem is that they don’t know about that.

The bolter used is a .998 Godwyn Pattern, which is a standard weapon for Space Marines (as much as anything involving Space Marines can be standard, anyway). It fires a .998 self-propelled explosive tipped round, which is roughly analogous to the 25x137mm round fired by the M242 Bushmaster chain gun, which is used most notably in the Bradley fighting vehicle
The .998 does not refer to the calibre of the Bolter shell. That's a mistake Badger makes in the video: Space Marine Bolters are chambered in .75 calibre, with rounds measuring roughly 20x50mm, and the Imperium also has smaller .50 calibre bolters that can be used by ordinary humans.
The .998 refers to the year the weapon was designed or implemented, the 998th year of an (unnamed) Millennium, possibly 998.M40, aka the year 39998.
The HEAVY Bolter does fire '1 calibre' rounds, which would be closer to the Bushmaster's long 25mm.

As cool as the SMs are, the Guard are the back-bone of the Imperium. A single guardsman might be a joke but he's got a trillion buddies at his side and just all the heavy armor you could possibly imagine.
Guard is the Hammer of the Imperium for a reason, they fight most of battles, they siege for decades, they hold the line for another decades. SMs are just shock troops, they have too sheer numbers to hold any territory or fight a regular battle for long, they deplete too fast. SMs are rather the scalpel of the imperium. U want that warboss assassinated? Send SMs. Oh, the eldar are doing their heretical sorcery on your forge world? Send SMs to deal with it fast. SMs are cool and sickly powerful, but still there's not enough of them to make a regular fighting force.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine was exactly five years ahead of its time because Doom 2016 was extremely similar but vastly more successful. A buff guy in armor, on another planet, fighting demons, when your health gets low you stun an enemy and activate a special finishing move, there's a story but the protagonist doesn't really care, if you run low on ammo you bring out the chainsaw/sword, etc.

Doomguy killed a titan without superpowers and all by himself. Now he has a preator suit and has been blessed by the seraphim, he killed the Kahn Maykyr who is technically a God type figure
and the icon of sin, which is said that will literally grow stronger the longer he stays on earth and make a giant blackhole to swallow all of creation.

Bolter ammo is Semi-Armour piercing so it’s made to penetrate less armour then it can as a solid shot
I know it’s a five year old video but the space marines do in fact stay ripe for a longer time just like grocery store veggies
