I have tried Brasso wadding, I have tried toothpaste but neither have worked. So Im glad I found this stream - slightly confused though as to whether its the Autosol Metal Polish or Autosol Scratch Remover I should be using . To quote the scratch remover says "for lacquer coatings and plastic glass surfaces". Has anyone got a view on this
Yep, that oxidation will come back shortly now when the UV-protection on the plastic are gone. The proper way is to wet sand in steps and then clear coat it with 2k clear coat for a permanent solution.
@@orfeous In fact this stuff is polish and protect. But best thing is to wash and fully dry the car first. And use tape so it won't come on the paint. You're right about removing the UV layer, but you have to polish it anyway to get a proper look again. Machine polish is possible but you need something for protection. This stuff is ideal for polish ánd protect on small surfaces. You can always use some extra wax after, to protect it. Or indeed a 2k coating.
Autosol worked . 3 applications and it has really improved .
there is Autosol for plastic clean i've use seem to be long lasting for months without use UV protection extra spray
Wil try that. Thank you 🙏
