The two singers are of course consummate professionals. But why did they have to send Belcore out in a costume left over from a production of Luisa Miller or I Puritani?

Belcore l'avrei dato a Panerai o Cappuccilli. Sennò, visto che era ancora in ottima forma, anche a Gobbi.
