@@AB-nv7bz 2JZ have strong stock block AND crankshaft.... stock 2jz exhaust, cooling, fuel system are almost on the limit at stock power. You'd HAVE to swap a lot of stock components for performance ones if you want to go even over 500hp and don't want to overheat/bend head gasket and overall ruin the engine,...so kinda not that ez. Still cheaper then to buy a brand new engine ofcourse but 2jz tuning "simplicity" is a myth... you kinda need to swap half the sh*t under the hood to put some serious crank out of it. For b58 you can tune ECU wilth a lap top and have your 500bhp... add a downpipe and get around 600 ...and 700-750 with turbo swap.
