I've just upgraded from the galaxy watch 4 classic to the 5pro, and even though I miss the rotating bezel of the classic, the battery on the 5pro is so much better. And by the way ,the new galaxy watch 7 ultra is ugly as fxck , so I won't be getting one.
Great Review Everyday Legends.......Samsung Galaxy 5 PRO is my 5th Samsung Galaxy Smart Watch. Now you can get a Refurbished in excellent condition from eBay between $90-$150 with 1-year warranty. Regarding the band....it is a phenomenal band with the double deployment band, I do not have any issues with swapping the bands. Maybe if you have very short fingernails, it might be an issue. Samsung improved their bands on Samsung Galaxy 6 and newer which is great. As for lag, I don't think it is that big of a deal. Everyday person will not notice it. Benefits are: titanium built quality, durable, battery life (2-3 days after two years of use), large display, software, features, etc. As of today, I still think it is one of the best smart watches out there. Especially the built quality and battery life. BTW, I LOVE the double deployment clasp on the band, some of the reviewers said it is a horrible design, but they didn't know how to adjust it properly. It is one of the most comfortable and cool looking bands out there.
How big of a deal is it to use it once updates stop? I could get the 5 pro for around $120 or the 6 for $140. I'm not ahuge workout buff but want some basic health tracking. Also can you use it for samsung pay after updates?
I had the Gear S2 for a long time and forgot about it until a few days ago when I went to use it due to remembering it finally lol but the battery is done so I ordered the 5 Pro for 125 bucks on Amazon I personally don't mind being a few gens behind when it comes to certain tech impo it's a great device for the price and also current tech gen

@@Anomalyy666 The new galaxy ultra is going to be the best competitor to the apple watch - but even that's a stretch. The apple watch is just so good (Android fanboy here). The Watch 5 Pro is incredible affordable right now and I highly recommend it!
I never changed the HR or stress tracking settings, so just the default. I run the screen at 100% brightness and AOD is always on. While I am sleep tracking, I turn off AOD and turn screen brightness to minimum. I then use it to work out in the morning, check notifications, and take a few calls during the day while at work. That's really how I use it daily and I get 2-3 days. Purchased at launch, original battery in device. Hope that helped! Subscribe for more and thanks for watching 😃
If battery is your priority, get the 5 pro. I would actually wait for the series 7 that come out this month to see if it’s worth the upgrade over the 6 classic.
Brother with all due respect switching the bands ain't that hard it might take some focus if your trying to put one of those thick rubber straps in there like the one the watch came with. Now that being said the 5 pro is absolutely fantastic I've used it now over an year everyday and its like you said a tool i utilize it in so many ways at work, its so hand to pick up calls without reaching into my pocket ( wearing a head piece ) as a heavy machinery operator.

Just install some good watch band pins and start buying quickfit 22mm watch bands.. Watch band problem solved. Quickfit is the easiest solution if you like to swap bands often.
I think it is definitely worth looking at. I am reserving full judgement for when it drops, but it appears Samsung is copying Apple a bit more than I'd like. The new galaxy buds coming are very similar to Apple as well. This doesn't mean it will be bad though....I will have a video discussing that once it's released 😎 For $150, you really can't go wrong with a used Galaxy Watch 5 Pro
Hi. Great video😊. I own the Galaxy Watch 4, 5 and 6 in the 44mm version. Also the Pixel watch 1&2. Also the Ticwatch Pro 5 and Enduro. My favorite smartwatch is the Oneplus Watch 2. Nice design, and features and long lasting battery life. The sensors of the Galaxy watches are very inaccurate. According to my testing. I will keep using my Oneplus watch 2. Have a great week 😊.
This watch is quite thick. If you put a rotating Bezel on it it would be too thick. If you want the large battery you need to give up the mechanical bezel.
Maybe... It might just be the better watch to buy over the Ultra. But... 5Pro came out in August 2022. Good luck finding an untampered and didnt need a refurb shakedown, from that guy selling on the internet.
Buying new is always the safer option, but there are plenty of clean 5 Pros on ebay right now! They are incredibly durable. I wouldn't be so worried about a used one, even with heavy use. That's just me though. Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more 😎
I own samsung watch 5 pro and i agree with everything exept the bands. Man you are clumsy I have 5 bands and i switch them regularly it rakes me 1 minute but you need dexterity

That watch is not scratch resistant. Plenty of people have scratches on that watch. Too easy. Mine was scratched. Thank you for being honest about the lag. Terrible. I got rid of mine

Keep on dreaming. Watch 6 classic is faster, sharper and more good looking. And with a cache reboot and developer mode active no lag at all.. Only downhill is the battery that only last 2 days vs 3,5 days..

I compared this with Garmin Epix Pro, and Watch 5 Pro justifies its price and features. Wearing it for 1.5 years and it never disappointed.

In my country, 6 classic is just $25 higher than 5 pro. Then which one should I go for?

I've had the 5 pro for 2 years and just bought the 7 ultra and 7 ultra blows away the 5 pro. 5 pro is slow and screen is a nightmare.
