I had the opportunity to buy new 16 pro max but still bought 13 PM, 13 is the peak iphone for me and there's minimal upgrades from 13 to latest models

This or the s24 ultra as a secondary phone got iPhone 16 pro max

Just got a prismatic Marine 256gb iPhone 16 today

I'd still recommend the 16 because it has better passive cooling, more energy efficient hardware and bigger batteries, plus one year more OS Update support. If you want to keep your phone for 5-6 years its the best option, just a bit more expensive than the 15.

7 years of updates is great, but how will the hardware hold over that time? With AI advancements I just don’t think the Tensor 3 processor will hold up.

Updated to Pixel 9 Pro and regretted it. Sold it and bought 8 Pro again. The form factor is just so much nicer. Photos looked more flat on Pixel 9 also like your S24 Ultra samples in this video. Loving the 8 Pro!

My s24 ultra has been so damn good to me i love the battery the cameras the s pen and split screen and AI i use my phone like a computer it does so much no lag no overheating or anything ❤

Honestly the boxy design it is the main reason why i bought it, i work with alot of documents and pages, also every now and again i need to sign stuff from my phone. I think the 24 Ultra really appeals to corporate executives and business owners because it is a massive work horse that feels like pure utility, the feel in hand is similar to the shape of the blackberry passport, it would be a big let down form if they changed the shape. I think it's okay for the Ultras to not be a mass market device and the S plus should be competing for the shape and size of the iphones pro max. Samsung really needs to lean into their user base and stop try to beat Apple in it's own game, they got ahead with their Note line only to butcher it and copy apple each time they take an L.

Samsung has a perfect design it makes sense with the usage of the spen..they have the s24 and s24+ if a person wants a smaller and not boxy phone.

Typing from it right now and it’s lovely. I have the 11in and have been using it for university since I first bought it 3 years ago. The smaller screen is perfect for portability but still having a screen big enough for note taking and studying. I might even trade this in for the new mini since I will need a laptop eventually to run more intensive software that the iPad just can’t.
